Secret Lizard President 313 Share Posted February 24, 2012 Over the mountains and through the forests he walked, grumbling along the way. Day turned to night, and eventually back to day! Sleeping on the ground, leaves his only bed! A rest not quite sound, an ache in his head! "If I ever get back, they'll give me a smack", he said! "But I'd rather it be that then end up dead." A few days after, and eventually he arrived. There was quite the laughter! "Oi you survived!" The halflings of the Vale, always eager to see their own- They approached him, laughing as he groaned! "Oi you survived, we thought you might've died!" This is what the halflings said- but they never really thought.. that he had been dead! Pip grumbled as he walked, surrounded by laughter and delight. Oh how the halflings had talked, Pip was quite the sight! Leaves in his hair, and mud on his face! He didn't look fair, nor did his pace! He walked as slow as a snail, and he expected a kick in the tail! He was the largest fail! He hadn't blazed a trail- or achieved anything at all, yet this didn't truly matter, He stood up tall! Death or Embarrassment, he chose the latter. He trudged along the path, and went straight to the inn! He had no anger or wrath; he was in the Vale again! All would be well, and many a year would the halflings live- And stories would they tell, and ale would they give- to all those who stopped by, though Ol' Pip, would only sigh. "I'm tired of those humans, elves, orcs and dwarves, always causing trouble." but he really didn't care, as long as he didn't... sleep in rubble! Ol' Pip in the Vale, the crankiest halfling of all! Only a few feet, did he stand tall! Don't let that trick you though! He's a feisty man! Leave him alone, or he'll kick you in the can! ((Lol)) ((I thought I'd provide some kind of.. closure for Pip, since he shouldn't just randomly disappear! And if allowed, it'd be awesome to leave a cranky Pip npc in the Vale! ^_^)) Also, I wish everyone that likes it would comment! I didn't try that hard on it... but I thought it was a fun read, and I wish you all fun while you read it too. Feel free to comment on it! P.S. This is an OOC post. :D [Poll: 1.
