Glasiconas 111 Share Posted February 26, 2012 The voyage from the Verge to Asulon was not so pleasant as some wish to believe. The beautiful scent of death still lingers in my nostrils. In those close quarters beneath the decks, the value of life plummeted, it was perfect, they didn't even notice the missing bodies! If someone was thought sick, they would be thrown into the dark waters and it serves them right! They could have gotten me sick! and left to the mercy of the sharks. This is my account of the voyage. -- Murmundamus. Tully. ~~A cough, And the shroud of sleep is torn off. Enter a wooden world, A land shook by the sail unfurled. The source, Is torn from his spot with brute force. Taken above, They cast him off with a shove. His watery tomb, Gives me more elbow room. Thrown into the deep, detatchedly I go back to sleep. Close my eyes, Dream of impending paradise. Open my eyes, I climb from my rest to greet sunrise. Blinded by light, I witness a melancholy sight. A coast, silhouetted by the sun's ghost. A dark shore, Is this what so many died for? Hope expunged on foreign reefs I trudge ashore to mourn callow beliefs.~~ (( It may seem rushed, - Mainly because I wrote it when I was meant to be studying- I had it lying in a folder on my desktop since early January and decided if I didn't post it now I never would, so please take that into account before you critique it. :P ))
