Ok so currently I am assuming a good lot of you guys have agreed to my current blueprint of the area and mixing it with battleme's, so this is what we need to look for! Within the tunnel we need to create a route that leads to a dead end within said tunnel which will allow for us to easily create the gateway... Or what I've begun to recently consider, a hidden piston door way! If the lot of you like the idea as the enemy will believe that said area is actually a dead end.

Another thing we must look for is a new entrance to the cave system, the issue I have with out current one is that it is too far in the center of the region and it will make construction more difficult when we do find a suitable location to said dead end, also it will cause for mera gaming as the enemie will view our names on the surface and easily find a peculiar hole near by...

And to finally add the surface entrance I believe should be a 1x1 locked door in a ruined looking encasing placed in a hillside, what we can do for the door lock is RP it's a dwarvern rune door... It cannot be opened unless you solved the riddle which we should place near by! Such as speak friend and enter.

Oh and P.S.

We need to demolish those bloody abandoned mines!

Oh! I didn't know a spot had been Picked!

Well we have a location! It is the yewtree forest next to the wicked forest, the entrance juvins made for us to get into the ravine will not suffice in the future but hopefully we can find a new one that is furthur off and hopefully connected to a more natural passage.

Once we got entrances done we can start setting up the actual structure.

you knowe the ravine where the brige goes over?

(thats the old position i written down, exodawn is talking about, the one close to hallowed mountains) In my opinion that region is nicer but well i dont do the decision

It's a ok ravine... But it is far too open in my opinion, there wouldn't be a decent defense if we where to get attacked... Though it is a nice location, also it's a bit close to the hallowed mountain.

A dwarf oriented riddle I found for the rune door's code...

The Womb of the wold, wet and cold, bore me at first, brought me forth. I know in my mind my making was not thorugh skill with fells or fleeces of wool; there was no winding of wefts, there is no woof in me, no thread thrumming under the thrash of strokes, no whirring shuttle steered through me, no weaver's reed rapped my sides. The worms that braid the broidered silk with fate-deemed cunning did not weave me; and yet anywhere over the earth's breadth dwarves will attest me a trustworthy garment.

It's a very hard riddle I have to say, so good luck with the answer!

What about a secret entrance that only high ranking Dwarves know about?

Depends on what the others would think about that, dwarves arn't keen on creating more than 1 way out.

But thus far we would have 2 door plans that will challange the other races who are keen on entering our future mighty city.

What about one door that is decently challenging but other races could figure it out and one door that almost only dwarves could get through?
