What role-playing means to me is that you stay in character as much as possible and make sure to stick to the setting of whats going on around you whether you are stuck in the heat of battle or bowing politely before a nobleman. But what i really enjoy is getting away from the every-day life and becoming a whole new person.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have little previous experience in Role play, and what i have done has always been minimal. But i have role played on large MMOs such as World of Warcraft and The Old Republic, however it was mostly with friends and guildies, so there was no pressure there.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-gaming is cheating, plain and simple. Its where you use some form of software that allows you to obtain an advantage over the everyday gamer. Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

There's much to my history, none of it good. My father was a soldier of the old kingdom, a real hard case when it came to rules and discipline; he thought everything had to be perfect, including me. From the age of five he trained me in the ways of the sword, never letting me rest always teaching me about some new thing that I always thought was useless, like hunting for food, or how and where to best collect wood from the surrounding areas. The studies like writing and reading were always easier for me to do as I knew I’d have to use them someday. I always thought I’d never have to use any of it; we lived in a large town that was always well supplied and only had a few bandits that were always shooed away. But then the undead came and everything changed. My father moved our family away while he stayed to fight the hordes of monsters behind us, it was later that a messenger came and told us of the battle, and how my father was cut down while fending off ten of the beast. At that moment I actually realized how much the old man cared for me and my mother, realizing this only filled me with anger and hate, I wanted nothing more than to kill the monsters that had taken my home and father, but I could not as my mother begged for me to board the ships with her as I was the only remaining part of her family left. We came to Asulon poor, and broken, my mother soon died from the shock of my father’s death. It’s been some years now, but now I, a man of 29 must make my way in the world. I have no home, and little money. The only remnants of my family are my father’s sword, his battle axe, as well as my mother small savings. I've made my living as a mercenary up till now, doing odd jobs for anyone with the right amount of minas, but I can only hope to rebuild my life and family name. Luckily I have nowhere to go but up.

((OOC: My character is a young mercenary who will do almost anything for money, except farm and murder because he feels those are beneath him. He has no respect for any religion and finds that those who spout off ideals of righteousness and holy order should be put to the stake. However, he is a bit naive to the world around him.))

What is your Character's ambitions?:

My character wishes to raise his fortune and settle his own town where things might once again be peaceful in the world.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

My favorite tool, if you could call it that, would be my father’s sword.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

His abilities in battle with a sword rival some of the best warriors. But he is also quite skilled at gathering meat from animals, cutting down trees and building small shelters.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

He rushes to the aid of the halfling and quickly tells the warriors to return the money if they don't wish to be hurt. After shooing away the scum he'd make sure to ask for a small reward for his services.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

"Well good sir, I'd like to see your wares. I do hope you have something of use to me."

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Wanting nothing more than to steal these treasures before his eyes, he would think to himself it just wouldn't be right to steal this as it wasn't earned, so he would simply move on, hoping to find some monster to stomp into the ground soon to put his mind at ease.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

"Hello there, might I take a quick respite in your camp, I’ve been lost for days". Noticing the rather large purses of minas he ask ever so politely," Might you be needin’ a guard on your journey, I’m no travel guide but I can beat the head in of any bandit", with a smile on his face and a twinkle for money in his eye.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

"A reward you say. Aye I’ll help out and show you all what a real warrior can do. Bahahaha."
