How old are you?: 16

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: EST, United States

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I would believe so.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am dedicated to my friends that will be trying to join with me as well. I have played on LotC before but I left due to complications. I am a decent role-player, I have had quite a bit more role-playing experience since I left last time and now I think i'm ready to start again.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: It really depends on my schedule but I would say at least 5 or 6 hours a day.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Role-playing is to take on the part of a character that you've created and make it more and more in-depth, adding personality, feelings, and their conscience to your play style. Role-playing is enjoying what happens in your story's lore and to take part of it.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have played D&D with a few of my friends as a start. I have also played on LotC once before and found it highly enjoyable. This time though I have a couple friends joining me as well. I have recently left a role-play Minecraft server due to hackers bombarding me day and night. I was sick of it. I've decided that if I want a good role-play experience I will try LotC again.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is to know something outside of your character's mind. Using knowledge from the real world in the role-play.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-gaming is where someone will kill you with hardly any role-play and you will not have a chance to survive such as "You've been arrested now your going to jail"

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect an even greater experience than before. Since you've added new plug-ins and other things to improve game-play.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: War of Kingdoms was the only real role-play server I've played on besides the last time on Lotc. I left due to overwhelming hacking and people attacking me day and night.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes

How did you hear about us?: I heard about LotC the first time from the forums but I am back for more.

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: I have, I was #170.

In-Character:

Character Name: Lum

What Race are you?: Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): I honestly haven't decided.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Lum was born into a moderately wealthy family. As a child, he enjoyed exploring and traveling. He learned swordplay in his early teens, as his family deemed it necessary. His father took him to the village's blacksmith to make his own sword. Lum was so enthralled by the master smithing of metal that he wanted to try the craft himself. The blacksmith took him as his apprentice and taught him to forge weapons, tools, and armor. After a few years of practice, the blacksmith had taught Lum everything he could, and Lum became a journeyman. In Lum's late teens, the blacksmith died at the hands of the Undead. The smith had wrote a will allowing Lum to inherit the shop, but he was not ready to settle down. He set off with no purpose, other than to see the world. He wandered through the dwarven kingdom, the elven lands, and a bit through the orcish desert. He made a living as a wanderer, telling stories of his travels to people eager for adventure. He made his way to the city of Alras, a wondrous city of wealth. There, he made a large sum of money gambling what little he had. His life was changed forever in Alras when he met the young Evelyn, a young lady of exceptional beauty, and an eye for adventure. She was the daughter of a wealthy merchant, who would rather trade her for gold than have her as a daughter. He was a cruel man, and Evelyn needed to be liberated from her family bonds. Lum met her at the docks of Alras and made their escape into the night, set for a path towards the Cloud ruler temple.

Lum is a burly man of 32 years. with brown hair an a hardly unkempt beard.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? He would sort out the situation by calmly asking the armed warriors what they were doing. He would try to avoid physical conflict as much as possible but if it came to blows he would protect the halfling.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? He would ignore the man for Lum's simple life does not need finery such as his. He would prefer to live off the land with his friends and family then spending his life collecting useless vanity items.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I would leave the items alone and move the chest aside so that no one else will find the items until their owner returns. Lum is not a thief or a vandal.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I would ask if they had any extra food and offer to trade service or goods in exchange for a hearty meal.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: To protect his family Lum would help seek out the bandits and slay them but he would not accept any reward.
