Minecraft Account Name: fishoak

How old are you?: I am thirteen years of age yet I act as mature as an older man

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: New York, United States of America. I believe that is -5 GMT if Google is correct.

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I believe I do. I write and try to expand my vocabulary as much as possible.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm thirteen year old writer who hopes to be a game developer once I grow a decade or two. I enjoy role playing and writing lore as much as possible.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 1-3 hours on weekdays although I will try to spend more time on weekends.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Role playing: is the act of being in character or "playing your role" as your given character. This usually means acting in character and talking as your character does or as the people do in the world. When roleplaying, or 'RPing' for short, you can do as much as your character can. If he is a simple minded halfling he would not be able to break open an iron door, and if he is a farmer he would not be able to vault twenty feet. Roleplaying has been used for decades in LARPing, D&D, and now the ingenues addition to the Minecraft world.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have roleplayed on several servers before. These have included Fallout Servers, Skyrim Servers and Assassin Creed server.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is the act of using outside knowledge in a role playing scenario. This could be taking what someone shouted in Global chat and referencing it in local. Or, it could be using information your dead character knew about a certain object. This could even be calling someone "ikey" when their in-character name is Alha'an. It detracts from the experience maybe even more than Power-gaming.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-gaming is the act of abusing the role playing system. Usually using /me statements or physical actions, role players cause too many actions in too short of a time, giving the victim no time to respond. This could be KoSing (killing on sight) without any reason, beating someone to a pulp without any time for retaliation, or doing /me grabs the thief and stabs him. Instead, a better role play approach would be /me tries to grab him, touching his shoe lace. /me attempts to pull for his dagger. /me raises the dagger.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I believe the process of getting on the server will be strenuous and difficult. I will refresh the page for an hour and not see a response. Not saying that is a bad thing. That is simply a sign that your server is busy and flourishing with players. Once I get on I do believe it will be grand though.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on Shadows of Gazamo for many months before it went down for reasons that are still unclear. I then tinkered around with several Fallout servers, but eventually leaving them after they switched maps. I then followed the herd to an Assassin's Creed server which closed due to payment costs. My friend Colbniline said he was starting a Skyrim server, and I have been on that since. It has decreased since then due to moderators leaving and broken plugins. I came here for a rebirth of servers.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have read and agreed to all the rules.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes, I have read the rules and will abide by them to the full extent.

How did you hear about us?: My friend ikeyman32 (Mike) told be about the server.

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: I just voted at number 1,312.

In-Character:

Character Name: Vigor Khra'al

What Race are you?:Orc

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Shaman

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Vigor's childhood was almost as harsh as his fathers whip. Even though his children as supposed to be treated as the future and well, ale changed his fathers ideas on this. Vigor was born a small child and grew to a disgraceful five feet. Although his height allowed some agility, his father was quite mad that the gods had cursed him in such a manner. He believed that his son needed to be shown his pain and the suffering of war. So his father threw Vigor out of the desert tent and into the brutal sands. He told him to take a walk across the desert and return when he has learned as there is too learn. Vigor did not understand, and and such a young age decided it was a good idea. He was almost certain his father would regret the decision and bring him back. Yet after four days of wandering in the blistering sands, Vigor took shelter in a small tent he saw out near the horizon. At that time Vigor was almost innocent, in mind and body, His dark green lightweight body had it's perks, but he had never really taken a beating or returned one from those other than his father.

After a nights sleep Vigor woke to the sounds of shamans praying to Arya. Vigor thought he heard them mention thankfulness that the orc boy had wound up at their doorstep. Vigor tried to run, but was caught by two insane shamans. As Vigor soon realized the shaman had gone partially insane due to thirst and some alchemical accident. Before he could stop them, Vigor was buried up to his neck in the middle of the desert. The shamans drew their staffs and flasks of some violet syrup and drank. In the dark of night Vigor was tortured for hours on end, forced to drink down strange antidotes and have hot stones pressed against his back. Some say Vigor was touched by Gaulish that night in the desert. The shamans abandoned him, thinking Vigor was complete with their strange ritual. Since that time Vigor has been a changed man. Still young and scrawny, Vigor wanders the desert lands. Maybe it was the potions that changed him, or the chanting. Yet since the attack Vigor has been distant, edgy and quick to lose his temper. At times, or in his sleep, he has been known to shout in ancient languages and pass into a psychotic rage. Vigor has only begun his path to shamanship and was convinced to become one after the voices told him to.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To find peace mentally and physically. To make the suggestions and ideas and voices stop flowing. As Vigor says, to dam up the verbal rivers than run through his head.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): His favorite weapon is the shovel, as he uses it for many purposes. This could be to dig a temporary shelter, dig for roots or other precious food sources, or even to get to the water table to make a well.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? He is a good listener. To the voices in his head. He is not good with a sword, and is slowly learning to use a staff and his wooden ritual dagger he named Thil. He is mercurially good with words. Sometimes he may be able to raise an army, other times he'll stop half speech and start shouting while rapidly flinching his head back in what looks to be like a seizure. Vigor has not been good with potions, alchemy or medicinal herbs, but he hopes to conquer those after he begins work on learning "earth" magic. He is not good with architecture or building for that matter and cannot lift heavy things with ease.

Other Information about your Character: Partially insane.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Vigor does not care for halflings much. He thinks that they are too puny and too weak do be alive. He would stay away from the road that the harassment is being done and not do much else. Vigor is quick on his legs and can sprint for a good distance, so he would be able to maneuver the scene and exit in short time.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Vigor would simply nudge past the man in a rude manner, purposely showing that he does not approve of the man. Vigor would either then return the way he came and exit the city or go and quickly do his business that lead him into the city. Vigor does not like cities and much prefers villages, or if possible, underground villages.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Vigor would step into the tent after surveying the area for anyone. Vigor would then kneel down and scoop up the iron bars and place them in his satchel to be used later. Vigor would then exit, leaving the golden sword behind. Vigor does not like gold or any shiny substances. Thankfully the iron bars have dulled to a point that he does not mind their shininess. Vigor would not sleep in the hut, as he does not like to sleep above ground. It makes him feel insecure and open to attack. If he needed to rest he would dig a hole underneath the tent and sleep there, this way both getting security and shelter from the possible harsh winds.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "If you give me shelter and meat I will present you with fine magic!" Vigor would shout at the men at the gates. "I'm a shaman from far off deserts! Help me and you will be greatly rewarded once I am fed and awake!" If the men trust Vigor they would let him in and allow him to stay the night in return for the magics he promised to show them the coming morn. Before the sun would rise he would escape in the dark of the morning with his belongings on quick feet to either his hut or a nearby town. Vigor would maybe steal an item or two from the camp, but mostly likely leave in undisturbed, as he knows that the traders could probably hunt him down if they wanted. He leaves oblivious signs of a trail and is no good at hiding his trail.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Vigor would work to rally the troops and convince them to fight, maybe leading a prayer session to ask for victory in battle. If Vigor was lucky he could operate a speech without being developed into some mental fit after Zunnda and Dnaa start telling him to stab the soldiers. Vigor would then retreat to the sidelines and watch the battle play out, hoping to see his men win the battle. Although he did not really mind if they lost; he was only in it for the coin.

Accepted.

You must be aware that without a villain application you cannot murder or commit crimes, so do not think that your insanity will allow you to do these things.

You'll know that you've been whitelisted when this application is moved to the Implemented section. Until then, be patient!
