Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I have a mostly good grasp of English, although I'm very bad about comma splicing.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I live in Ohio, USA. I do some volunteer work at the local women's homeless shelter, and I enjoy working in the garden. I love history and sociology.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: On weekdays my schedule is very full, I'm usually not on before 8-9PM. On weekends I'm usually free for at least 5 hours a day.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is creating and acting out a character. It is an opportunity to see what life would be like if you were a different person.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I haven't seriously roleplayed for a few months, although I have been in a pseudo-RP clan for going on two years now.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is using knowledge obtained out-of-character for in-character purposes.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-gaming is doing things without giving other players the chance to counter or react to it. It can also be giving yourself abilities you wouldn't normally have. For example "I use my power to control the weather to kill Huurk with lightning."

What do you expect this server will be like?: I came here because I like the feel of founding a nation and conquering other nations. I prefer RP on a grand political scale instead of a small story-telling scale.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I've played on my clan's servers most of my time on Minecraft. I left our most recent one because it was a multiclan, where we felt the server administrators were biased towards another clan. I also frequent the Pokemon Server as set-builder for Machinima Studios.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Of course.

How did you hear about us?: A friend of mine in the clan I lead invited me. His name is Gousby.

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: I just did, although I'm not sure how to find my vote number. I'm hoping voting isn't a prerequisite for this.

Character Name: Julien Capet

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Julien Capet is from a minor noble house that was broken up after the Phoenix Revolution. He was raised by his father and a small entourage of loyal servants in his family's summer villa in the Realm of Hanseti. His father was stripped of his title during the Phoenix Revolution, as his fief was directly on the boundary of Salvus and Renatus. This meant his ownership was nullified after the dissolution of Oren.

Capet is a strong-willed legitimist who holds that his title is still valid despite the dissolution of Oren and the revocation of his father's title. He insists upon being called Count Julien Capet of Oren regardless of the fact that both his title and the Kingdom of Oren no longer exist. He is stubborn, imperious, and has very old-world views. He is the last representative of his line, and it makes him very defensive.

Capet is tall with brassy hair and green eyes. He's in his early 30s, and his face is worn from living so far from civilization. He has broad shoulders and a strong chin. Although he carries himself like a nobleman, he has very little money to his name. Besides his signet ring, crown, and a few expensive sets of clothing, he has no possessions.

What is your Character's ambitions?: Julien aspires to establish a new nation, founded on the principles of hierarchy and order. He feels that since he is descended from an Orenian noble house he is entitled to anything he needs in order to further this goal. He loves it when people are indebted to him, and always remembers who he can call in favors from.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Capet treasures his signet ring and crown, as he considers them his symbol of authority.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Capet is an eloquent speaker and a masterful leader. He is very good at swaying people to his opinion.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

If I am accompanied by the guards I'd like to hire, I approach the warriors and demand an explanation for their unlawful behavior. If I am not, I ignore the halfling and the warriors.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

I ask to see if he has any Orenian artifacts, particularly those from noble families of Oren. If he does, I buy as many as I can afford. If he doesn't, I ask him for directions to somewhere where I can buy some.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Ignore it. Thievery is beneath a Count of Oren.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I put on my charming face and try to make friends with as many important people as possible. It is always good to make friends, especially ones that lead important areas like trading camps.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: If I have my entourage with me, I send them after the bandits. If I don't, I ignore the problem. Fighting is below a nobleman of Oren.
