Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I love all things minecraft. I simply adore lotr, and would love to play on this server.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: during the summer and breaks from school, I tend to play anywhere from 10 to 40 hours a week

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying is like writing a book. You can plan it out all you want, but when you start it, the characters are the ones truly making the choices. Rather than making choices based on what you would do, making them based on what the character would do.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?

Dungeons and dragons, morrowind, oblivion, skyrim, the Sims, fable, world of warcraft, rift, lord of the rings online.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

using information unavailable in-game to help with in-game situations and decisions, thus giving yourself an unfair advantage over other players

What do you expect this server will be like?:

Secure, large, good, friendly, no griefers

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

Friendly server, Obsidiancraft. I have not yet left friendly server. I left obsidiancraft because it was too crowded and slow.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): born in the kingdom of Oren, Dain grew up without his mother. Shortly after he turned 8, his father unexpectedly left, leaving only a note saying,"I will bring her back."

Later, at the age of 14, he discovered a trail long gone cold, left by his father's most trusted friend, saying that they had ventured through the portals to bring his mother back. After many long years of poring over old books, he discovered that those who go through the portal slowly die, and that many have died because of the undead there. Seeing this, he lost hope. But when he threw the book at the ground in frustration, a picture of his mother had fallen out. He had been reading his father's journal.

He felt a great sense of purpose, and, from that day forward, vowed to protect the World from the undead. He salvaged what he could, and abandoned the house.

What is your Character's ambitions?: defend Aegis from the undead. Become successful, open a shop. Build a large house and become a knight.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Luck, agility, maneuverability

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

I aid the halfling against his assailants, and attempt to distract them as he flees. I try to get the money back after the halfling has gone safely.

a character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

I greet him in return, and wish him well. I tell him That regrettably, I do not have time to shop today, but will likely be back later.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

I would take a couple of iron bars, and create a sword. I would then use the hut as a temporary shelter, until I could create a better one. I would not feel remorse for this, as it is abandoned, though I am wary that there is a possibility of the owner's return.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

I would show them the items I have collected, if any, and plead for food and shelter In exchange.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

I join the town guard to aid them, and turn down the reward, only wanting to keep the town safe.

Why did I deny you?

Your characters ambitions should not be to wipe Undeads from Aegis, as your character now lives in Asulon. If he was still in Aegis, he would be dead.

Your definitions for meta/powergaming were so short that we didn't know which parts of the two you were discussing in your application. Try to lengthen them and give examples.

Also, lengthen and roleplay in your ORQs.
