Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a funny and outgoing guy. I'm very mature and fairly intelligent. I am a good student but love playing Minecraft and other video games. I love reading and LOTR. This server is similar to LOTR from what I grasp.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Probably 4 hours, if I really like it it'll probably rise to 8 or so.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is where you immerse yourself in a made-up world as a different character that is a different person as you are. You act as if you are in this world and you are this character and act accordingly to what happens in game.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have played on a couple of RP heavy servers (such as Romecraft). I enjoy it a lot.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is where you take information you take OOC and use it in game such as a friend showing you where a city you know is or what his RP name is when you two are thousands of Kilometers away in game.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is when you give your player more power than it has. It's like you give yourself powers beyond what is capable. For example: You're engaged in battle and log off and in defense say you have magical powers. Or you use /home during battle and say your a wizard with teleporting abilities(and your actually not). It's a bit like playing like a god.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect it to be full of people who enjoy RPing and who have a love for set out Lore and organization in a MC server.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have mainly played on Chicken God, Kingdom Of Zeenoz, and Romecraft. I still play on the first two but I left the latter because it was getting boring. There weren't enough people and I felt I wasn't getting any higher in the (RP) ranks.

How did you hear about us?: An active player (Salamandra) of this server gave a link to your high elf texture pack and I explored the website.

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: Yes, but I didn't get a number O_o

Character Name: Elrun

What Race are you?: Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Wood-ELf

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Elrun was born in a small town located in the woods. When he 35 he left the forest and went to an Elf town named Nightvale. He went to different schools for 30 years and became a scholar for 50 after that. So at a ripe age of 115 years old he retired as a scholar. He was brought to survive in the forest and in the wilderness. So he trained more in survival and set off into the wilderness. He became an adventurer and went around the world. He met Dwarves, Humans, Orcs, and Halflings, and other Elves. He fought monsters, found riches, and became fairly well known as a fairly-wealthy Elf. He enjoys going to bars while not traveling but enjoys nature and the solitude he gets from being in it. He still travels today and is trying to become a famous figure. He has also been to places like Elandriel. He is a very generous man and funds buildings in the cities and he is also a patron of the arts. If you spot Elrun he will most likely greet you with joy and vigor, for he is a friendly man and makes little enemies.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To become well know throughout Asulon as a great adventurer, and become rich from such questing.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? He is fast and agile. He is also fairly strong.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? I tell them off and pick up the halfling and put him on my shoulder. I run to the nearest safe place and leave him there with some money and a small knife.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? I tell him,"I'll take a small trinket." I find one that I think is interesting and buy it.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I take the iron and golden sword, it is abandoned and this is what the life of an adventurer is like: Finding interesting things in the wild. The golden sword may not be for fighting but I could get some good money off of it, as it weighs quite a lot.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I tell them my plight and ask for directions to the nearest bar. I go to the bar and buy some food and drinks.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I go out of the city limits and look around in darkness. I rope up any shady character quietly at bring him to the party.

Your definition of power-gaming is incorrect.

Power-Gaming is when you give your player more power than it has.

This is a paradoxical statement. You are saying that they have more power then they have, which means you increase their current power, then you get that power and increase it again... and again... and again...

Please re-word it so it makes a little more sense.

The rest of your definition needs to be changed as well. Powergaming is not being overpowered (or it may mean that on other servers, but on this server we go by a strictly text roleplaying definition). Do some research by asking around, looking at the lord of the craft wiki or googling.

Your definition of metagaming needs some clarification.

While not strictly an error which goes against the definition, but more a grammatical error which clouds the clarity of your definition. Re-read it and then remove the erroneous wording.

Biography needs a lot of improvement.

Expand on the story of your character and give reasoning for all of your major decisions. For example if you say that you went out into the wilderness to learn how to survive, explain WHY you chose that.

What you have currently is fine, but you need to add reasonsing as to why your character chose what he did.

You need to improve upon your favourite tool/best skills questions.

Like the rest of your application you lack reasoning. Explain to us why you selected what you did.
