Rp Username (be sure to include the correct prefix, look up on info thread):

Ja'Sirah

Character Skillset:

100 Swords (If stats don't get reset to 50)

100 Mining

Essentially, Ja'Sirah will be a priest-in-training, who loves to mine to keep his body fit. Tis not the only reason he LOVES mining, it's that beautiful feeling when you mine through the stone just enough to see the diamond at the bottom. But still, as any fellow Kharajyr, he feels he has a commitment to Metzli to protect her land from apes, and therefore he practices with a sword often.

Appearance (age, SUBRACE, gender):

Subrace: Leparda

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Personality:

Likes to keep more to himself, rather than stroll around the village and talk to other Kharajyr. He practices swordsmanship, by himself. Reads and writes books, by himself. Enjoys mining, by himself. You get the idea. However, when confronted or spoken to, he will reply with almost an outgoing manner. In ape lands, he tries his best to remain unnoticed. Best not talk to those who only bring trouble. Apes, he simply feel are "lesser" people than themselves, they're foolish races who war and squabble amongst themselves for the heck of it, which is why he will sometimes take things from their land. Might as well if the apes aren't going to put it to good use.

Please include a short bio of your character's life:

Sirah was born and raised under his father and mother, whose names he prefers not to speak, simply because it brings back too many memories for him to handle. In other words, he gets very emotional about them. He felt his parents were the only people who he could ever really relate to, his father being a writer, and his mother taking almost all the time out of her day to take care of him.

Unlike many of his brethren, Sirah has had rather a boring life. Up until age 15, he usually could be found at home writing books with his father, while his mother attended the garden out back, and made meals for the family. I guess now would be the best time to introduce how old Sirah's parents were. His mother and father both were reaching their limits at ages 85 and 87, but Sirah never really took notice to it, they still seemed to function like other people.

Sometime during the year in which Sirah turned 16 years old, his parents both passed away, sometime in the period of a couple hours, while Sirah was away for the day studying at the library, another one of his pastimes. On the walk home, he noticed Kharajyr men outside the house, carrying large sacks away, which he soon realized were his parents, and began to weep.

After reading so many books about heroism, Sirah got the crying out of his system, made a sacrifice to Metzli in his parents' names, and began to take up a few responsibilities of his own. He continued to write books, but became fascinated in performing more physical tasks when one day he was challenged to a "duel" by a Pantera boy. Each with a wooden sword in hand, Sirah was smacked upside the head repeatedly, until he dropped the sword and ran out of reach. This is was sparked his interest. He took up practicing the sword, usually hitting a few trees, and swinging a wooden sword around in the air, pretending to be fighting someone, and at night challenging a few spiders to a brawl. Besides swordplay, he also picked up mining, after reading a fascinating book on it by some dwarf whose name he'd never heard before. You could find diamonds simply by swinging a pick all day? Sounded easy enough to Sirah, seeing that he was looking to get stronger anyways. Might as well find riches too!

Word of Sirah's knowledge grew, as other boys and girls his age began to notice how different Sirah's intelligence was compared to theirs. He knew simple answers to questions that the other children didn't know, such as; How many apples does a human need in a day to survive, or how a skeleton kills its prey. In a survival test, in which all the Kharajyr boys were sent out into the jungle to survive as long as they could before returning, Sirah was found in a self-made encampment, with a dozen bowls of mushroom soup and buckets of water to drink from. He claimed to have picked up the skills from a book. Soon after, he was asked to take up a learning opportunity as a priest's apprentice. He would learn under the priests all the necessary rituals that would be used to uphold society, and he graciously accepted, knowing from prior reading that priests were valued members of the Kharajyr, and his parents would have been proud of him.

_---Situational Rp Questions---_

1. As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?:

"Hello weary traveler, please, come with me so we can get you some food and water."

*Ja'Sirah then leads the man to the temple, where he searches for a Moonblade or warrior to take the ape to the Tlatlanni. The ape could be a spy, or maybe he is just a traveler. But how in blazes would he have gotten all the way out here? Maybe the apes are more cunning than we thought...best let the Tlatlanni decide.*

2.

As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak.

"Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!"

He continues to act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?:

"You're making quite a scene you impudent glutton, care to speak outside instead?"

*Ja'Sirah walks outside, and awaits the dwarf until he arrives*

"I can understand if you're merely trying to impress the other people of the tavern by trying to be funny...but is that really neces..."

*Ja'Sirah quickly swings his staff sideways, in an attempt to smack the dwarf, then immediately smashes it downwards onto the dwarves head, hopefully leaving him unconscious on the ground*

"Hmph" Ja'Sirah mutters. "I guess the work in the mines really has improved my swing."

*Ja'Sirah takes a little of what the dwarf has on him for food, and wanders off down the road. Never was one for ale anyways.*

3.

One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response?

"...you killed them over...cake...?"

*sighs*

"You understand, it isn't up to me to decide your punishment, it's that of the Tlatlanni. I will take you to him now, and if you refuse, will be exiled from this land, and I will inform the Tlatlanni of your treachery in the morning."

Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred?

*nods, and offers no further words or motions*
