In advance I apoligise for posting an unusual application, I thought that my character could make for some good stories. :)

Yes. Well, at least I hope so as it's the only language I speak.

I've never been good at answering these questions, but I guess on the whole, I'm friendly, open-minded, creative and interested in what seems like everything.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Could be daily, could be a few days a week, I don't know yet.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Improvisational acting, being in character in all ways possible.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

None, but I'm creative, I like games and I like books. I also really, really like in-game/book/film universes and will extensively scour through wikis about them. I've just never had the opertunity to do any roleplay.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Metagaming is where you abuse your knowledge of things your in game charactor wouldn't know. Such as the location of a rare item, which you know the location of, but that your character couldn't have known. I'd equate it to screenlooking on splitscreen games.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Powergaming seems to be what someone would do who didn't get roleplay at all. Acting with the aim to "win", I guess. Killing people with no warning, etc.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I'm not sure. Though, I must say you guys seem to have it pretty together. :)

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Age, Appearance, Personality

He is probably in his late twenties. He has a pale complexion, messy dark hair and is lean, but fairly muscular. Though he is pale and dark haired, he is not outwardly dark or brooding. he is thoughtful, quiet and kind, yet firm and unyielding with a high sense of rightiouness when the needs be. He does not trust the soldiers and leaders he has seen around, he wears the mask he was found with to this effect. He has no idea who he is, he only remembers the past two years since he was found. He wears unusual clothing, a cloth suit with some sort of eye pieces built into the helmet and a sort of breathing mask that he was found with .

Character History

“I do not remember anything of my past from before around two years ago. I was found on the side of a mountain to the west of here, by who I now know as my mentor, Erthru, An old man living alone on the mountain,. He had been out walking, bracing the fierce winds and cold to collect firewood, when he saw what appeared to be some kind of glider, crashed and broken in two. Upon closer inspection, there was someone trapped underneath: Me. Amazingly I had sustained no injuries greater that a fractured leg and heavy bruising. I am very light, perhaps that is why. The most puzzling thing about it all, is that I had sustained no head injuries; The cause of my memory loss is still a mystery.

Erthru carried me back to the small shack he lived in on the mountinside. For these years he trained me in hunting and various other crafts. The ease I had with using weapons was alarming; I must have used them extensively before I lost my memories. For a long time, I lived a simple life. That is, up until two months ago. We had been enjoying a meal and talking of my plans to travel, when Erthu notices something from the window; A group of human soldiers was approaching the shack. A man with dark spectacles and a fitted black robe was leading them. Erthu told me to run out the back and hide in the bushes that were nearby the shack and so I did. From my position I saw everything that happened next.

They had been talking a long time, about what, I knew not. The man with the dark glasses looked angry and Erthru looked worried. Without warning the dark robed man pulled out a bright blade. Laughing he then proceeded to run it through my mentor. I forced down a wail, not wanting to alert anybody to my local. For what reason did my mentor, an old hermit need to die? It seemed so unfair.To that extent, who really was my mentor? After pillaging the meagre contents of the shack, the soldiers then burnt it. I hid there, in the bush all night, long after they had gone. With no home, no memories and the sorrow of my mentor’s recent death on my mind, I set off in search of the cloud temple I had been told about. I hoped to learn some clues about my past from the monks and their library."

What is your Character's ambitions?:

To uncover his past, Help those in need, explore and to bring justice to the man who killed his mentor. He also intends to discover who his mentor was and why he was killed.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

He uses both sword and bow. He has reasonable ability with each.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Windriding was his foremost talent, alas he has no glider now. However, this has left him to be greatly in tune with the wind and have high agility and awareness.

What are some of your characters weaknesses?

His memory loss puts him behind the times. What he has in strength of character he lacks in knowledge and experience. He is slow to trust those in power. Though he is agile, he is weak; His bones are like a birds and will break easily.

Other Information about your Character:

Perhaps the most important part of my application, is to point out that I don't actually know my characters past, I thought it could be fun perhaps if somebody else could invent the backstory, which I could then seek out through people, libraries etc. It could lead to so many plotlines! I'm really exited about the prospect of doing this. Could I do it? Is it a good idea? I'll let you decide :)

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst travelling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

I walk up to them and put myself between the halfling and the warriors. "what business have you, robbing this halfling of his meagre earnings? You would be wise to leave the place. I wish not to fight you."

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

"Hello sir, may I inquire as to the location of the nearest inn?"

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

I call out to see if anybody owns it. Hearing noi response, I decide to gather some firewood and start the furnace that is inside. having stocked the hut with extra firewood, I leave a note wishing the owner well and offering them to use the firewood i collected as payment for my staying there. I then rest for a while and head off.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

"greetings, trader. I am lost and haven't eaten in days. Where is this place?"

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Needing the payment, I unhappily agree. “ I will help you bring these outlaws to justice, I am wondering if you could give me information as well as the reward you offer.” I hear them out, then follow them. I not trust guards, yet innocent citizens should not be allowed to fall prey to bandits.

 Unfortunately, your application to Lord of the Craft has been denied. Your application was good, but unfortunately "outsider" characters are not the type of character we are looking for. As such, I request you rewrite or edit your In-Character and Open Response questions to have a character who grew up within the land of Asulon.
