Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes I do have good grammar.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a Average middle School Student. And I enjoy playing minecraft and also playing soccer. I really don’t like warm weather all that much (I hate it!).

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: At least 4-7 hours weekly.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: It is acting as a fictional chacacter and creating a plot for example if you you are an elf you need to act like one look like one and know the character this also means you have to rp speach like an elf.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have had little experience but I know what to do and how to do it. I understand that OOC means out of character and IC means in character. I have a good sense of how to role-play my character.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: It is when someone uses info they learned OOC and use it to their advantage in character.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: When you take advantage of a situation without giving someone to react in role-play like just mindlessly killing people or setting up traps in the woods or on a path.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I think it will be the best minecraft server ever compared to other servers I have been on previously.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: There have been many and the reason I have left them is because I never got a good start on them (Meaning I had been given no chance to survive or start playing normally) and also I wasn’t told where I could live or build and I wasn’t really able to do anything.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes I have and completely understand them.

How did you hear about us?: When on one of my countless searches for a role-play Minecraft server I saw the link to the site and forgot about it. A couple years later a friend suggested it to me and I looked it up and remembered. My Friends minecraft name is Treepuncher2140.

Character Name: Daeon_Smith

What Race are you?: Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): None

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Daeon_Smith is a 25 year old Human whose father was a blacksmith and taught him his ways and is still a little rusty at the skill. His family escaped the fall of aegis and escaped to an asulon island when he was a baby. He is a kind and caring person who can always be trusted unless plotting revenge of some sort. He looks a bit like a sailor with a beard and blue jacket. He has a type of fear when he comes along a monster alone but with help he is ready for anything. He is very loyal to people he respects and will obey most orders unless he can tell it is the wrong thing to do. His weapon of choice is a bow so he can hit down his enemies from a distance.

He helped his father in the Blacksmith Shop that his family owned and mostly fetched stuff for his father. Of all the monsters he fears Spiders the most when as a kid he had a bunch of spiders attack him and his family during this a spider gave him a huge gash above his left eye that wouldn’t heal so his father created an iron piece to put there so it wouldn’t effect Daeon in any serious way which it would have. After that family moved to another island that was completely monster free and that is when his father started to teach Daeon the skill of archery for self-defense.

He lived his childhood on the two islands he lived on were both were near Asulon and it was really cold in both places too. From this Daeon has ice blue eyes. Daeon decided that his life was too small on the island and nothing much to do so he left all his tools, weapons, and armor at his home and left for the cloud temple in Asulon for a new life. Daeon_Smith likes to run above the world and see lots from high up. He sometimes gets a little too excited when exploring and wants to see everything. He enjoys playing around and fixing mechanisms and machines. Also creates his own contraptions too.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To become a great Blacksmith.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): I trust a Bow and arrow

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: The art of Blacksmith and craftsmanship.

Other Information about your Character: Daeon_Smith is always going to be looking around somewhere new for a long time, mainly big cities and towns.

Open-Response-Questions

Traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? By trying to get the person away from the warriors safely and try diplomacy to fix the problem.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well-dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? : By just being curious and says “Just looking” In a casual tone. And taking a closer look at what he is selling. Then looking at the area around for any other clues to see if it is safe to buy some of the merchandise. Then Daeon would say "Ill take one copy of the book of Redstone please". The merchant seems happy too and hands it over and gets his pay.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: By trying to determine if the house really is abandoned. Then look around for someone else if there is no one I would then go to the nearest town and ask if there was someone living in the woods.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond? By Saying “Sorry to ask but, may I please have some food I’m starving and would like something to eat. Something small would do I don’t need much to eat and too show my gratitude ill pay you”. The Trades would be happy too and one says "Why are you out here anyway? It is dangous to leave now you better stay". Daeon says "Thank you very much kind sir".

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guards have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering rewards for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: He would try to find one or two of his friends and ask them if they would help him on defeating these criminals. We would then go and wait out side the gate and i would go in the trees to see far out for the bandits.

Your ORQs need to be in full rp with detail and dialogue

Your RP defintion is weak and defines an RPG not how to RP....there is a difference

Your bio should include lore of the server, such as the destruction of aegis and escape to asulon which your character would have been effected by as it happened just about 25 years ago in game

I am very sorry, but your application has been moved to the denied section of the forums. There are numerous reasons for this, all of which I have included in my feedback below this message. In the mean time there is an abundant source of information, stories, guides and other helpful tips to get you on your way to being accepted; all you need to do is look around. I would suggest the lord of the craft wiki and application submissions section of the forums to start off your little quest to make the best application. Good luck!

The reasons that I have denied you are:

Your have used incorrect formatting of the application.

You need to re-copy the application format. Make sure you have copied the text from the white box and not anywhere else. Also make sure that you do not delete anything in [these square brackets] as they are vital to keep the colour, boldness and size of the text. If you are having trouble because your entire application turns out in funny colours, make sure that you are writing your answers on a line underneath the question, as this is a common error and can mess up the formatting of your application.

You need to include examples of all of your definitions.

This is so we know you understand what the definitions mean.

Your biography needs a lot of errors.

Your knowledge of the lore of Asulon is extremely sparse, do some more research. Find out some towns that your character could have/does live in, about how people escaped to Asulon and just some general research on how stuff works in this server.

Your ambitions are underdeveloped.

You need to show some advanced thought processes. What would your character like to do in the near and distant futures? What is your character planning? You also need to justify your decisions. Why does your character want to do this? Things such as planning to kill all bandits, orcs, humans etc. are unacceptable ambitions as this would require a villainous activity.

Your answers to the favourite tool/best skill questions are underdeveloped.

You need to justify why you have chosen the choices you have. It is all well and good that your character can run really fast, or is light on their feet: but why?

Some or all of your answers to the Open Response questions need a lot of improvement.

Instead of describing what your character would do, you need to assume that your character is in the situation and acting as they would in that situation. You need to describe a scene of RP. This means that you cannot write “If this happens, then my character would do that.” As this shows that you are not Roleplaying, you are answering the question from what you think that your character might do. You need to show us that you know who your character is, you know what the situation is and you know how your character is going to react.

This also means that you need to write in full RP. For example:

Josh talks to the shopkeeper, buys a few apples, pays the shop keeper and leaves. X BAD

Josh walks up to the man standing behind the rough oaken market stand. The sounds of a busy market can be heard all around him. An annoying fly buzzes around his head, so he absent-mindedly begins to inefficiently swat it away. “Ah, greetings shopkeeper! I was just browsing your wares.” The shopkeeper nods at Josh and then turns towards another customer to attempt to assist them the way all market shopkeepers must. Suddenly Josh felt a slight tugging sensation on his belt. He was about to brush it off as nothing, perhaps just someone bumping into him until he realised his belt was slightly lighter. He noticed a man beginning to run off in the opposite direction of himself. He glanced down to see that his coin purse was missing. He put two and two together and then shouted at the top of his lungs. “STOP THEIF!”… √ GOOD!

We expect that you write in full RP and that you write a full paragraph or more for each question.
