Leondas The Lightbringer

My life, it has not been light at all. From the meeting of a young, Human girl, to finding myself enslaved by the cultic Black Hand. I never thought my life could be a mystery, Even to myself. The years spent under in them dark prison cells, doing the dirty work of the worshipers of a dark god. It seemed to grow on me, turned me into a mad man. It was only a matter of time untill I could become free of that curse, and wander the lands again.

And so I did.

A new group had started, but small in size. The goddess named Scathatch had spoken to us, had told us to go to the city of the Ascended. She met us there, And granted us our power.

Lynx, Had been given the gift of life, allowing him to call towards the earths natural resources, and aid him in the growth of our world.

Decora, had been given the burden of Scathatch, leadership of all who had joined the Silver Hand.

And me, I had been given the gift, of light. The burden was heavy, As I could feel it's power surging through me at every step I took.

There was another man, but my memory feels, that it would rather forget about him. The twisted orc.

The Silver hand had not lasted long, I had fallen into a sleep of many years, I am unsure of the exact number of years however. But when I had awakened, I had found that Decora no longer exsisted in this world of Aegis. Her spirit seemed to still follow me though, as I still felt the powers of the light guideing behind me. As did I feel the presence of the Black Hands taint.

My awakening was a mystery to me, I could have been gone forever. But something had told me that if I did not awaken, I would not be able to continue to tell me tale to anyone who wishes to know. And I would not be able to finally one day, see what it means to live a normal life, away from all of the slavery and torture I had gone through.

But now, this day. I still feel the power of Scathatch, guiding my path of the light. I never understood what this gift could hold. but now, it is all clear. Something will come of this, one day. So for now I shall know myself, as Leondas the Lightbearer.
