Wretched 2075 Share Posted April 6, 2012 Prophecy Stones: A prophecy stone is a large stone that has ancient text carved into it that is said to be a glimpse of future events. Such visions come to an Aelkos in dreams and then must carve the prophecy into a large boulder, written in Metztli's tounge. Creating a prophecy stone means alerting the Kharajyr of events that may or may not happen, either way, it is an important part of kharajyr religion and these stones should be treated with respect. Some stones are good and some can be seen as bad, sometimes the message they give is unclear, but sometimes it is something to be expected. Current prophecy stones: Sala co mi - rising sun: A simple stone but one of the oldest, it merely says that the sun will rise each morning and a Kha' should use it as a new start, they should not bring their worries into the next day. Kha' often say "Sala co mi" as a way of reasuring somebody that everything will be ok in the end. Metz'ka do sin - bright moon: Another old prophecy stone that predicts the moon will shine brightly each night over the world. It is a way of saying no matter what you do, the godess see's it, even if another Kha did not. It is also a way of wishing somebody peace in a troubled time, saying "Metz'ka do sin" is meant to be a kindness said by loved ones to each other. Ta'ji gwo - end of days The darkest of all prophecy stones, written after the volcanic eruption as a warning of what will happen if the kharajyr upset their godess again. These words are forbidden in the kharajyr and are told to bring the worst possible luck and bad omens. Saying these words to a pride or single person is like giving them a curse. This stone is only ever discussed in whispers and is generally seen to be evil. Forgive me for how untidy this is, but its the best I can do untill Im at a proper computer. Let me know of your views on it.

CraftPrime 35 Share Posted April 6, 2012 This seems like a very good idea, but I must say, wouldn't these Prophecy Stones need the people of Asulon to co-operate with the Stone's predictions, since, well, it is a Prophecy. Right?
Wretched 2075 Author Share Posted April 6, 2012 This seems like a very good idea, but I must say, wouldn't these Prophecy Stones need the people of Asulon to co-operate with the Stone's predictions, since, well, it is a Prophecy. Right? Thats just the point. These are only part of kharajyr belief in peoples dreams. Probably will never happen but they are still seen as sacred objects. People can ICly joke at these stones but the kharajyr believe in them deeply, leads towards some interesting RP
