a happily married military wife. I have been writing fan fiction

since I was 10 years old. I’m a very social gamer. I like making new

friends when I play online games.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Three to four days out of the week, will depend on my college work

load and work schedule.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition

of what it means to you: Role playing to me is similar to when I'm

writing fiction stories. The difference is that in role playing you can live

the story out with others, in turn making the whole roleplay experience

more exciting and unpredictable than fiction you create by yourself.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if

any?: I have a light amount of roleplaying experience. I roleplayed on

another server with a few close friends.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming

is: It's cheating, using out of character information in character when

your character would have no way of knowing that information.

In your own Words, define what the act of

Power-Gaming is: it’s basically forcing something to happen without

giving the other person a chance. Example: Say I swing my sword and

just declare that I hit your arm, without giving you a chance to react to it.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I have

friends who play on lord of the craft. They are always talking about

how much fun it is. I look forward to having a fun role playing experience

and having fun with them and everyone else.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did

you leave them?: I played on herocraft with two friends a year ago. I

haven’t played on any other multiplayer servers since we stopped

playing on herocraft.

Character Name: Alatariel Rosefire

What Race are you?: Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to

have a sub-race): Wood Elf

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs

long. This must include the history of your character and his life as

well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Alatariel is

a 50 year old dark brown haired elven maiden with piercing icy blue

eyes. She came from a small elven kingdom deep in the northern woods

of Aegis, isolated from the rest of the land. She was the youngest

princess of her royal family. She had two elder brothers, who were

twins. They were great warriors and died in battle alongside their

father defending their kingdom. The kingdom fell to the Undead, but

Alatariel escaped. Before the war Alatariel often dreamed of life

outside the rules of her royal duties.

She would often sneak away from her duties to her family as a child

and sneak down into the small village near the keep. There she

would work her way to the local blacksmith and watch him as he

would craft their weapons and armors. She found it fascinating, and

would ask him many questions about his craft. Eventually she began

having him show her some of the actual work and techniques,

growing more and more interested in the craft as the years went on.

Although she loved the trappings of her upbringing, her heart was not

in to marrying a noble brat prince. She just wanted to practice

archery with her brothers and live among the common people, and maybe

one day marry for love and not duty. After the total loss of her

family and her kingdom she was able to seek shelter in Asulon with two

kind ladies who became her dearest friends, Vailoen and Lillith. They

are also the only ones who know of her royal birth, but keep it a well

guarded secret, as she does not want that life any longer. Although

still young and at times naive she is kind and loving, if sometimes

bull headed. She is very fun loving and free spirited, and looking to make

her way in this world with the skills she learned as a young child, sneaking

down to the smith to learn his crafts.

What is your Character's ambitions?: Find her way

in a new land with her friends, trying to live the common life she always

wanted.

What is your character’s favorite tool? : She has some

experience with a bow, but is learning to mine and furthering her blacksmithing

skills as she works alongside her friends.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

She is still discovering what she is good at, having had a

fairly sheltered life when she was younger, but she learned to blacksmith secretly from the

local blacksmith.

Other Information about your Character:

She is kind and very outgoing, if sometime naive about the world and some

of the people in it. She always assumes the best about someone, giving

them the benefit of the doubt more often than not.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a

small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to

be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

She leaps into action to help the halfling. Although not well

skilled in her bow, she first tries with words to out wit these brutes

to leave the halfing alone. She despises dishonest and dishonorable

people, and no one deserves to be bullied.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a

small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s

offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh

accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your

character response? She would approach the merchant with a

kind smile and look at his wares, asking what sorts of wares he offered

and seeing if there was anything she could use.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes

across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest

containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your

character respond?: Concerned the hut may still belong to someone, it

doesn’t feel right to steal such treasures, so she would move along, leaving

the items untouched so that their rightful owner may come along and

reclaim them.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across

a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in

the common tongue, how do you respond? She would carefully watch

them, trying to see if they seem honest enough to approach. If not, she would

carefully skirt the camp, and look for any kind of trail that they may use that

could lead to a town. If they seemed trustworthy, she would approach them

and politely offer to trade her skills for food and directions,

offering to patch up

some of their damaged items.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside

the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered,

and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of

the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How

does your character act on this information?: Although not skilled in

the bow very well, she offers to make weapons to for any who help with

her recently discovered talent in blacksmithing to help do her part to

help her town. She despises dishonest people, and will do her part to help

bring the bandits to justice if she can.
