I help the comunity in anyway i can. I will make sure that the roleplay continues to be fun for everyone around me How much time could you be on the server weekly?:everyday from 6-9.30 What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: it is where people come to take on the role and responsibility of another character so they can enjoy another world and its inhabitants. What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:I used to play dunguns and dragons and a young child and play many games such as guild wars and i have pre purchased guild wars 2 already. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: it is using stragtegy and action which comes for a previoulsy set of rules. In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: interacting with a game to maximise progress to a goal. (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): as a child thror was attacked by creatures and was seperated from his family he has always wanted to find his mother and father but he begins to hear that he has a brother lost also after the attack. as an older dwarf he visits his old childhood home hoping he will find who attacked him that fateful night sadly he finds the body of his mother who must have been murdered that night. he finds his fathers waraxe in a chest with a note addressed to him and his brother from this point on he belives his father is alive and sets of on a quest to find his father and his brother. he will also protect any allied races on his quest. He also has a tendecy to get drunck alot and pick fights with goblins(who he hates). What is your Character's ambitions?: to find his father and brother and restore peace to the land What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): his fathers WarAxe named "Glamdring" What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Other Information about your Character: he is a kind but short fused dwarf and loves Dwarven Ale Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?he tells them to leave the halfling alon if they do not he will defend the halfling and tell it to run as he puts others before his life. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? asks about his father first as always then orders what he wants leave after saying "keep safe" Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: as a dwarf he would struggle to not steal the gold and iron but wonders if it is a trap and so he continues to move on. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? i ask if they have seen my father then ask if they need any help if not i will leave them be if the need help i will do so free of charge You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:he joins and helps when the reward is given all he asks is that if he father or brother is seen that he is told (he dose not want any money) i am sorry i could not get coulor this time i really hope i can still get in the server even after this :( sorry Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
hypercrit 237 Share Posted April 15, 2012 Why did I deny you? Your metagaming definition... Your metagaming definition did not properly show and outline what you need to know. Use examples, make sure that we are aware of your exact knowledge of the term, and how to avoid using it. Without that, we cannot accept this definition, because this shows that you may unknowingly use it ingame as you are not certain of the uses and meaning of the term. Your powergaming definition... Your powergaming definition was incorrect. This is a roleplaying server, where you make your own path, not an RPG where you select skills, grind mobs, etc. This is a server that we use our imaginations on! The form of powergaming you mentioned was the type only seen in RPGs. Our type of powergaming is more focused on player to player reactions and how these reactions play out. I will not give you any further information, you will have to find that out yourself. Your ORQs were short... Short answers in the ORQ section are not adequate. We need to know what your character sees, thinks, smells, feels and hears in that situation, to an extent that we are there, and we know exactly how your character would react if it were allowed into the world of Asulon. Fix your formatting... You need to make this easier to read though. Use colours, use spaces to separate paragraphs. Fix up your formatting. There are many guides around the forums that portay how to do this in an excellent manner, showing how to use colours correctly, using spcaes and italics to overall give better legibility of the application. Wrong skin format... Your skin was not in the correct format. It needs to be a screenshot, not the skin.png file that you would upload to minecraft.net. To get a screenshot, press F5 tice ingame, then press F2. To access that screenshot, click Start, then search %appdata%. Select .minecraft, then go to the ‘screenshots’ folder. Bad Grammar/Spelling... Your english in this application was not the greatest. It included spelling and grammar errors. An easy way to fix this up is to first write up your application in a Word Document, then use the spellchecking feature. It should make your app much more legible.
