I'm an old school tabletop gamer looking for an online experience that would offer a more deeper RP experience. I love minecraft and I've been eyeing LotC and today I decided to join. Looking to invest for a gold package to further my RP experience, but I want to see if I would need it first. I've rped offline a lot with D&D and Champions but refuses to larp.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 6 to 10 hours maybe, my gaming is a bit fluid, I usually just set a day or 2 for it.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

To take up the role of a character in a game and embody that character's traits, flaws and behavoir as the game progresses. I like to view it as investment acting where the more you stay in your role the more you get out of the experience and journey deeper into the story.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

On tabletop only and sometimes online on City of Heroes or Champions Online.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-Gaming is the act of trying to gain information while Out of character and then using that information in game usually towards his/her advantage, like learning about a location and asking about how to find while OOC.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Powergaming is when a player roleplays in a way that limits or takes away any if not all the possible actions of another player can take. i.e. Guyplayer put grabs Girlplayer and puts her in an iron chest, he then closes the lid and a locks it with a a key he just happens to have.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

A expect a fun server with more solid roleplaying element, an online community and just a chance to play a character and interact with a world.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

It's been awhile and I don't remember which ones they were, It's nearly been a 2 years since I played on a server due to school and Mass Effect

Character Name: Cassius Corvane

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Before the fall of Al Khazar, Cassius' name use to be Cassius Covanis he comes from a well to do family who served the kingdom of Oren and it's king, Cassius' grandfather built the house of Corvanis from nothing to what it was at it's time. He had 3 sons, and before his death he decided to step down as the lord and bequeath his power to his eldest son, Cassius father. It seemd like a good decision at the time, Cassius' father was gifted and intelligent man and so were his uncles, all seemed well. Atleast on the surface. In reality the House was conspiring with usurpers who had wanted to over throw the king, they had lied and spied against the crown. They even plotted to assassinate the king. But all the treasonous acts ended when Cassius' grandfather; who upon discovering what his sons had been doing with his legacy, came immediately to the authorities. Acting quickly and in secret, they arrested and imprisoned his sons. In the end of it all everything was kept quiet, but the guilt in Cassius' grandfather was too great. Heartbroken he willing gave up his title, the shame he carried was so great that he felt he had to leave Al Khazar; this was all before it's fall. With him he brought the young Cassius whom he raised in a small cottage in the wilds of Asulon. Cassius eventually came of age and change his name to Corvane.

Cassius looks as if he's at the end of his youth. He has dark hair and a pale complexion. He would have been attractive if vanity was the first this in his mind but it isn't giving him a slight stuble and dark bags under his eyes. He has deep dark eyes.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

He wants to make a name for himself and seek redemption from his family's treacherous past. He also wants to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather and build he was did, except better.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): His Bow

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Cassius is a decent hunter from living in the woods, He is also a decent fighter face creatures in the wilds.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Cassius knows full well if he confronts the 2 bandit with a halfling that there's a big chance of him loosing. He decides to take the offensive and with addition of the element of surprise. Cassius searches for a spot that's hidden enough, high enough, far enough and behind the bandits. He then silently signals the halfling from behind his attackers and let's him know to be quiet and not give him away with a finger to his lips. Cassius takes aim and fire arrows at the bandits and while they are distracted by his attack, and there attention away the halfling takes this time to run. Cassius knows it'll be a risk to stay fight, so he runs as soon as he see the halfling leave. The bandits tries to find him, reach him and come after him, but He vanishes in the nearby woods and as they turn back to their previous victim they find him long gone.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Cassius answers back with a greeting of his own, and he lets the mechant know that he's a traveller and that he just looking around, he would then ask for an inn or tavern he could possibly spend the night in , but he is as vague as possible keeping to his own business and out of the business others.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Cassius closes the chest and leaves things as he found. He would never steal items that aren't his nor he wants the owner to know that someone been through his hut.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Cassius doesn't like to be seen acting like a mercenary, He offers his services and skill for no reward at all. He'd gladly join the ranks of the town guard as as long as their plight is righteous.
