Hi, I'm Zach. I like a lot of games, ranging from RTSs to FPSs to MMOs. I'm generally a quiet person in real life, but around friends I can tend to get really loud.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Anything ranging from 6-25 hours. My weekends are crazy busy *cough*

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

Roleplaying basically is to take the reins of a certain character in first person. You effectively become them, and make the decisions that they would etc.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming: Using out of character information to influence in character events

Powergaming: Effectively forcing somebody to do something. E.G. 'Honeydewmelon knocks Grimreaper03 out with a brick'. Kind of like cheating.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

From what I've seen, I have high hopes. I think it will be a fulfilling RP experience. It looks like the whole community puts a lot of effort in.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

Kingdoms of Aeonis - 1. MMORPG mod stats reset 2. Map reset 3. Original leader of our faction left (new one wasn't active with the faction)

Chaotic Uniformity - I'm still currently active on it, but here's the deal: It's a pvp server, towny-based. It isn't really very active. I'm a leader of one of the two currently biggest towns, but the other most active town could steamroll us. The only other active members are gankers, members of dying towns, and new players, which quit because of the gankers.

Also a few others that aren't really worth mentioning/were 10000 years ago.

Life:

When Fritjof Sapphiredge was a child, he lived with his mother, father, and his older brother Halvard. They didn't live like normal dwarves; you see, his parents owned a farm near a human town. He used to play with Halvard in the mine they owned far beyond the wheat fields, killing spiders and mining whatever they could with their home-made wooden tools. One day, as they realised it was getting late, he and his brother left the mines, only to see a dangerous glow coming from their wooden house. Panicking, they rushed towards the house. On their way, they noticed the outlines of some humans leaving the property. As they got closer to the house, Fritjof looked through one of the cracked windows, only to see his parent's burning corpses strewn along the floor. It took a while for him to realise that his brother was dragging him away from the scene, though the image was still burnt into his mind. They slept in a nearby forest.

Waking up early, the two made their way back to the house to salvage what they could, then they went to town to see if anyone knew who did it. But when they got there, because it was a Human town, nobody would answer any of their questions, no matter how many people they asked. They were lower class; not worth the Human's time of day. Eventually they found a tavern that was owned by a Dwarf. After asking him if he knew anything, he told them of a story that he had heard just that morning, about bandits leaving the scene of a burning house and heading to the south. They thanked him, then they set out to find their parent's killers. They tracked them for 7 years, until eventually they found their bandit camp. They watched them for a few days, until one day, just after midnight, when most of them were asleep, Fritjof and Halvard ran in there... and started killing. They hacked, and they slashed, there was dismemberments, decapitations, it was just brutal, relentless killing. They didn't care whether man or woman, child, or adult, they just killed everything that lived.

That night changed them both. It gave Fritjof a new outlook on life, and he could see that his brother's eyes were full again. A year later, Fritjof caught word about a boat that would soon be going to a place called Asulon. Both of them saw it as an opportunity to get away from their memories, and their old lives. And board the ship they did.

Description: Stands the height of an average Dwarf, with brown hair and a brown beard. Today is 28. Skin tone is slightly darker than a normal Dwarf, because of his upbringing. Can be nice, can also be very, very mean.

Your characters ambitions:

Fritjof Sapphiredge is not very ambitious. He simply wants to live, and occasionally kill; he also looks to his brother for direction in life.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Fritjof would probably lock up, and not snap out of it in time to do anything about it.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

He would respond nervously, probably with just a 'hello'.
