Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: As a matter of fact, my favorite subject is English, and it is also my strongest subject. You will see me make very few grammatical errors and even less spelling ones.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I play basketball, and thats about my only athletic hobby. Everything else is roleplaying on minecraft like this server and playing skyrim.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Well my parents are divorced, and I can't play at my dads house because he has no computer, so it will vary, but most likely 5-6 days a week.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you Roleplaying is easy to define literally, as it means playing a role. But there is a whole different aspect to roleplaying, the aspect or making decisions, and being the master of your own fate as you wind through the river of "life".

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I play on only roleplay servers on minecraft, me and my friends roleplay a lot on various video games, and I love to play text-based RPG's which, I know they are RPG's but it is comparable to roleplaying as you have many different choices and actions.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: The most common example of meta-gaming I see on roleplay servers is when people know your characters "name" even though their character hasn't met you, i.e. My username is tree123 and some guy walks up to me who I have never seen and says "hey tree!". This is Meta-gaming because that player has knowledge that they should not have.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is giving your character an unfair advantage or some other benefit to in most cases, keep your character alive, or make some "fantastic" battle scene where your character is supposedly doing all these things that would never happen.

What do you expect this server will be like?: Well, I have heard this is the best roleplay server anywhere, and I am a huge fan of roleplay so this seems like the right fit for me.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on Fall of an Empire, and actually many other server that I do not remember, but one sticks out in my mind in particular that was similar to this server, where it was all roleplay all the time, and I liked that a lot.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, several times.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Yes, I, sodaplant, wholly agree to these rules.

How did you hear about us?: I was browsing planetminecraft for an all roleplay server, where it is only roleplay (since for some reason there is not a lot of those) and I came across this server, and immediately I thought to myself, "I have got to play on that server".

Character Name: Thorn Tigerclaw

What Race are you?: Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Northerner

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

As a young child, Thorn was an only child who was everyone's favorite in the village. He was the strongest, best looking, and most intelligent boy. Thorn lived a life of luxury, people asking him to marry their daughters, gifts from merchants, and simply doing whatever he wanted. Secretly, Thorn resented this, he wanted to have a reason to ride away one night, and never come back. Thorn always had this calling, and he wanted to leave without feeling guilty. Thorn knew he needed to go to the heart of Oren to do what he needed to, and one day he got his reason. In the middle of the night one night a man grabbed Thorn and before Thorn could scream he said "I'm taking you to Oren" as if he knew all of Thorn's wishes. Thorn then got up and rode with him, for some reason trusting this strange man. The man did not say a word, though he did not lie, and brought Thorn to the gates of Oren.

"You cannot go in until you learn."

"Learn what?" Thorn asked, feeling boyish in comparison to the mans deep voice and thick accent.

"To be an assassin."

That one word, resonated with thorn, and a vibration shot up his body, this, was his calling.

For the next few years Thorn was in a morally grey area, though he always leaned a little closer to the good side, he still killed and stole. As he grew from the young boy, his hair turned dark brown, and he rose to his full height of 6"4', and becoming very muscular, which aided Thorn in many ways.

What is your Character's ambitions?: To become a master theif and assassin.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Dagger (sword)

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Pickpocketing.

Other Information about your Character: While Thorn will steal money like nobody's business, he regrets it a lot when he kills, though he refuses to admit it.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? First, like always, Thorn assesses the situation before leaping into the battle. If the warriors seem easy to kill, he would likely kill the warriors, then ask for money from the halfling. On the more obvious side is if they were not easy to kill, Thorn would probably shoot one of them with an arrow then flee, just to help the halfling a little bit.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

"Oh hello, i've been looking for you misterrr (pretends to forget name)"

"(Mans name)"

"Oh thats right! Sorry about that."

"It's fine! So, what are you looking for me for?"

"Well I was hoping you could identify a cloth for me."

"Oh, show me it then."

(Thorn pulls out a random deerskin)

"Oh, it looks like a deerskin, let me make sure." (turns around and sets it in table to examine it)

(Thorn takes a coin purse out of his drawer and silently slips away.)

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Thorn takes them all, and grins at how much he can sell these things for.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? If they seemed a bit unintelligent Thorn would try to fool them and steal their gold. If not, he may just buy some food.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Thorn decides to help for glory and gold. His two favorite things.

-Overall you could do better, to be able to steal and assassinate requires a VA don't think its against it if were an ex-assassain/theif and turned good, so play on the server for a week or two. You could try doing a VA to do these.
