While passing by Haelun'or's community noticeboard, you see a smooth, bone-white piece of parchment hanging from a single nail. The parchment has an elaborate golden border with clear, frivolously neat words. It reads as thus:

On Science and Research

As many of you are aware, almost all of the blessed College's experiments were defiled and destroyed in the disasterous Uruk attack on Haelun'or. Since that time, many of our most brilliant scientist Mali'Aheral have had no outlet for their implacable curiousity and have fallen into a pit of dismal boredom.

Fear not, troubled soldier of intellect! Deliverance is at hand!

A new area has been set aside for the creation, maintenance, and advancement of technologies. Old experiments have been rebuilt (with a few obvious exceptions) from past schematics and notes, along with new experiments and discoveries taking the place of the neglected and forgotten.

Though the station itself is far from completion, there is plenty of space for an adventurous researcher to build, burn, electrocute and dissect whatever they please without the prying eyes of the ignorant or overly moralistic interrupting their work.

The station is only for pure-blooded citizens of Haelun'or whom I deem have prowress in the scientific arts. I will then allow you entry into the station itself.

Always remember this, Mali'thill; The greatest and most concise knowledge is always found within the infinite possibilities of science!

Perhaps it would be more prudent to focus on improvement projects that will not open as many old wounds and attract unwanted attention. We have other matters to focus on, I feel.

Nonsense, Ellir! I doubt even the Uruks would have problems with experiments in lighting and circuitry! The science guild building simply does not have enough room to faciliate the experiments I wish to conduct, and gives any willing scientist a place to remain undisturbed by outside influences.
