In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Metagaming is when you take information you have learn in an out-of-character way, e.g. TeamSpeak, the Forums, or Real-Life, and using it in-character. A prime example of this is, if I was in a TeamSpeak channel and heard someone say the co-ordinates to their house, and I went and used them co-ordinates to find them - I'd be metagaming. It can also be when you see a "nametag" above someones head, and call them by that name - as well as calling someone by their roleplay name, if you've never spoken to them in-character.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Powergaming is when you actually enforce something upon another player, and not giving them a chance to either counter it or take note of your action. Powergaming doesn't make the game fun for anyone except the person who is commiting the act. An example of powergaming is if I was arresting someone in-game, and I emoted "Serian tackles the criminal to the floor, smashing his head on the gravel, and cuffing his hands". That would be powergaming, as I did not give the other player the chance to react and counter it.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

My name was Teodan Arkanon. He lived in a small house located in a forest. His childhood was very happy, surrounded by games, love from parents and fun. Adolesenza was also very nice for Teodan. He began to go into the vast realm of Asulon and met many people who taught him the art of the sword.

One day, while hunting in a forest a deer in the distance he saw an altar and a fountain from which issued a greenish liquid. As he approached, he heard a voice behind him. He turned, and saw an old man with white beard. The old man said that this water contained green roots of a tree, and anyone who had drunk would become part of a tree. Teodan decided to drink it, because since childhood he had admired the magnificence and strength of them. Gradually, he felt stronger and stronger, and his skin became tree bark and leaves. It was transformed. He decided to return home, but arrived, he saw that his parents were attacked by bandits. Teodan then tried his'' new'' arm and, with two shots, the spread on the floor. He told everything to his parents, surprised but not angry with him.

He decided that from then on it began its life as a warrior.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? I calmly try to persuade the warriors to let the halfling go. If they won't, I will offer whatever change I have on me, or maybe some apples or whatever I'm carrying around for them to let him go. Then I would probably help him along home, ask him about himself.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

“Sorry sir, but I don't keep much money on me. Unless you have some work needs doing, I won't be able to pay ya.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Depends on how abandoned. If it is run down with the ages, covered in plants and cobwebs, and has broken bits, I would take the iron. No use wasting space an the gold sword. If it just looked like a normal house with a little more dust than usual, but still functional, I wouldn't touch it.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

I would ask them if they have any work I could do for some food, and if they would kindly set me on the right path.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

I would grab my axe and help the guard. The towns-folk had been accommodating me, would be rude not to help. Of course, I would be obliged to try and convince the bandits to either give up their lives of greed and join the town as productive members of society, or to go Robin Hood.

(If I occasionally talk weird or use improper grammar IC, its probably me trying to sound like my character, who I imagine having some bizarre accent that is a cross of Scottish and Australian.)

Am no sure whether, 'elping that wee lad would be smart..." he'd think to himself, before walking past calmly, and then proceeding to the nearest soldier or guard. "Ye see this wee gemstone? Eh? It's no worth that five 'undred mina your sellin' it fae. Bloody rip-aff, aye?" He'd make a mental note of the stall, before wandering off, looking for the nearby tavern.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: "I winnae steal" He'd think to himself, before jumping into the bed inside the hut, and resting for the night. Before he leaves the next morning, he'd be sure to leave a few minas in the chest to pay for the stay, before heading off into the morning sun.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "Ah, 'ello there young chaps! It's a rather smashin' wee camp ye' 'ave 'ere!" He'd say to the traders, grinning broadly, "It's a real shame I cannae stay though - I'm delivering an 'affa important package te' a client o' mine. If it's alright with ye', I'll pop in on ma' way back?" After the traders agree, he'd hurry off towards the point where he is to make the delivery.

Your application is good in areas, while lacking to various degrees in other departments. Your ORQ's are slightly lacking, and can be expanded upon, for example:

Setial approaches the stall, cautious of the greedy eyes that watch him from all corners. he walks to the stall and begins his chat with the shopkeeper, making sure to avoid all mentions of the quantity of his coin purse, or the strength of his resolve. After a banter of friendly conversation, expected of someone of his caliber, he proceeds to purchase bread and water, essential for his trips, and proceeds to leave the stall, watching the eyes peering at his back as he leaves the marketplace.

Your biography also is exceptionally short, expand on it by procuring information on your character's DETAILED history, such as his hometown, such a paragraph to amount to half your current biography, like so:

Setial's hometown was a place of mystery, and excitement. During the day, festivals were lively and plentiful with many a drink and food to share around. By night, the town was thriving with life, unsavoury characters stalked the streets, moving seamlessly through the alleys of wood and stone. It was a nice town, but night brought many a dark shadow. Setial was not afraid of his town, it was HIS town, he had grown up there and he would not cower from it.

If you require any more help on details or anything, shoot me a PM, and I will see what I can do.

You may re-apply in 24 hours.

Regards,

Arianne
