I would like to think I do, but I do still have trouble spelling some words and my grammar can be bad at times. I struggled with my learning in my early years of school but I am quickly improving.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I am a happy person and I love to joke around. I can be a bit crazy at times and many of my friends tell me I am crazy 100% of the time. I love to rp in games like Minecraft, GTA and even some small time games like Space Station 13.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I have school so I would only really be able to play in the afternoon and on week ends so I would say about 37 hours a week if I'm not doing anything on the week ends.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Role playing to me is acting, most of the time in a game for me. It is like being in a movie with no script and you are a character that you have made. Another definition from me reading some of your definitions half way through me righting this app is basically immersing your self in a role that you have made.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have role played on few other Minecraft servers such as TrueMineCraft witch wasn't really RP all the time and more us helping a soon to be found crazy (after some extensive raging about a server that he was merging with stealing players) with his book, and I am Currently playing on a GTA rp server.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta gaming is when you use OOC info to affect your actions IC, such as using the nameplate above someones head to find them while they are hiding or finding out on TS that Bilbo the knight is sending two of his friends to your house to kill you and you with this info immediately

drop what you are doing to lock all your doors and hire guards.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Power gaming is when someone who focus's on becoming powerful during game progression e.g not rping and just gathering diamonds, iron, gold etc.

Another example can be someone who forces RP onto people who do not want to e.g "Powergamer69-walks up to victem41 round house kicking him to the ground, victem41 then has a seizure and dies"

And one last example well really just continuing from the second example

A power gamer can be someone who declares that there action has been succssful without giving the other play a chance to react, like above if Powergamer69 did powergame it might of gone something like this

"Powergamer69-attempts to round house kick victem41 to the ground"

"victem41-dodges, stumbling as the kick narrowly misses, trying to get up from the ground his back is facing Powergamer69"

What do you expect this server will be like?:

A fairly larger server with a fairly large player base that will provide a great RP experience, and what I hope to be a friendly community

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I played on Trueminecraft and left because lawman the owner went crazy and sklas witch was great and filled with pretty EPIC story's but sadly it just died out after a while.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

note: I'm thinking of playing the same char as my one from Sklas but changing some of the places around to suit LOTC, there for most of the events in my bio will be based off things that have happened in game.

Arkio's life has been filled with slavery, death and tragedy.. but also with hope and love.

As a child Arkio lived on a small farm with his parents Mandy and Helix Elthain along with his older brother Umune. Life was good.. they were not poor but not rich, and Mandy and Helix raised there sons teaching them the importance of love, compassion and friendship. Most days Arkio would stay inside and play with his toys, for the world outside was filled with danger, and sadly in the middle of a calm night evil struck there humble farm. The crops were set ablaze as Arkio's mother fell to the ground in front of his farther's dead, lifeless corpse screaming for her child as he was shoved onto the back of a slaver's horse.. his hands and feet bound with rope.... Arkio was only five when this tragedy unfolded and child slaves could, and were sold for an extremely high price as training from a younger age proves to be much more efficient. Arkio was brought and sold many times and by the age of 16 he ended up the slave of a kind old Steel smith.. Arkio's new master treated him more like a son than a slave, teaching Arkio how to forge steel into beautiful weapons, he taught him to read and right and the basics of welding a sword along with many other things, and one day the master asked Arkio to travel to a distant island to trade spice, when Arkio asked why his master was not going he simply said "I trust you.. now go there waiting for you at the docks". The journey was long and it seemed like they were going to make it without a single storm, but just when the men were preparing to lower the sails and drift for a bit something struck them, they thought it might have been rocks, corral maybe, but that wouldn't of explained the sudden storm that hit.. The sailors rushed in a panic to secure loss cargo before the storm got so ruff that the cargo would do more bad than good, but in the panic something happened, something unexpected, something that couldn't be explained. An explosion below deck blew men off the ship left and right, Arkio one of the men who fell of the side, landing on a large plank of wood and being knocked unconscious.

This was just the beginning of a great chapter in Arkio's life.

Arkio soon found out that he wasn't alone on this strange island, for after only a few minuets of walking he found a city, not a large one, but one filled with life and sound, wonderful sound for it was the festival of the seventh dawning, a festival held every seven years in honor of a new king being crowned. That new king would soon turn out to be a tyrannical mad man thinking he had the power of the gods, and Arkio would soon lead a rebellion to free the land and be rid of this evil king.

The battle raged on for several days before Arkio's forces pushed through to the main gates of the kings citadel.. slaying all who did not surrender to him and as they downed the doors to the throne the king, standing on the marble steps of the throne room, drew his sword swinging at Arkio with all his might, narrowly missing and falling froward.. Arkio plunging his sword into the kings back, pulling it out, blood spurting from the wound, the kings dying words drown out by the cheering of Arkio's soldiers "Evil.. coming... you cannot...." Arkio plunged his sword once more into his back whispering in his ear "Your lies will no longer fill these halls"... On that day a new festival was held, one that would pronounce Arkio the new king....

The mad king was not wrong, for evil did come.. and evil that cannot be defeated.. the city's were set alight by warfare and endless destruction, demons filled the land, and as the last ships fled from the har

bors, the land was left a war zone, each city's army held as long as they could but non were strong enough to stop the horde of undead.. many family's were killed during the many sieges, and when the fighting finally grinder to a halt, the island vanished, some say it was eaten by a sea monster, others say it was never there in the first place, no one really know's what happened to it, not even Arkio. And this is were Arkio's adventure really begins, for his ship has sunk and he found by fisher men, taken back to there port, given something to eat and sent on his way, out into the land of.... Auslon! (Of course Arkio has no royal status in Auslon and isn't anything more than a homeless man.. for now).

Arkio is a well built male, bout 6'4, Black hair, green eye, wears a blue coat with a hood on at all times (even when he sleeps!) and by the time he makes it to Auslon he is about 23-24. Arkio can be snappy at times, especially when people are being quite stupid as he is used to working with "non" stupid people (Don't really have a word for it), Arkio is caring, but can also be ruthless when it is needed.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

To change the world like he once did.. but for the better!

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

A serrated sword/dagger

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Sword play, smithing and great tactical skills that he has taken from the rebellion.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Arkio would slowly walk towards them saying "Is there a problem here" attempting to intimidate them, if that doesn't work he would attempt to bargain with them, after all whats a little money, or a sword for a poor mans life, Arkio does want to change the world for the better so saving lives would work towards that. And at last if that didn't work he would attempt to get them to chase him giving the halfling time to escape, what happens when he stop and fights them isn't for me to decide

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Arkio would lift his hand up waving to the man while saying "Hello.. what can you do for me well nothing really... but can I do something for you?" Arkio would attempt to help the man in anyway possible if there is nothing he needs help with than Arkio, depending on the status of his supply's would buy more from him.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Arkio would look around for a while to see if there is any trace of someone living there, then if there are none Arkio would wait, and if no one comes, he would take it for there is no reason to leave supply's behind that could help my over all goal.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Arkio would great them back saying something like "Ahhh it's good to see someone out here" then explain his situation to the traders asking if there is anything he could do for some food and water maybe even a map, if they offer him food for nothing then he would take the food thanking them, if they do have a job he could do for food and water he would do it for once again it will bring him closer to his goal of turning the world into a much much better place.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Arkio ask around to find out were the town guard offering this reward are, if he finds out he would diffidently help them, if the bandits pose a big threat then he wouldn't hesitate in killing them, but if they give in Arkio would turn them back to the guard.

Your biography has a lot of errors.

You cannot come from a different land. The simple fact of the matter is, there are only two known continents. Asulon and Aegis. One is destroyed, the other we live on.

Your character can NEVER have been a king/queen/lord of anywhere, as what you described did not happen in the history of Asulon or Aegis.

Your biography is by far too cliché. Having parents or villages kill/destroyed by bandits/orcs is overused and not creative. This is a role-play server and therefore a creative server in the sense that you have to use your imagination to function correctly. For you to display this in your application it needs to have unique elements.

Your biography contains powergaming. In the context of your biography this can be anything from encountering an enemy and just beating it without explaining how, or just defeating it unrealistically.

You have not included any (or much) lore from the world of Asulon or the lore you did include contradicts that of Asulon. I recommend that you do a lot of research as to what you race is and how they act, as well as towns and places that you could use in your biography. I would also like to note that the entire server escaped from Aegis about 25 in game years ago to move to Asulon, I suggest you do some research on this point. Do note this is not Skyrim or Lord of the Rings, we have our own universe with our own races. For ideas and lore you can look on the Lord of the Craft wiki (link on the main page), the Role-play or History sections of the forums or better yet; talk to the people themselves. Just join in our Team Speak channel and ask around! We welcome new people :)

You need to complete the entire biography, detailing all your characters history, age, personality and description. We also like to see little role-play quirks such as habits like the constant brushing back of a fringe, or the scratching of an itchy palm.

Every single thing in your application must have a justification. For example:

John’s father taught him swordsman ship and the lay of the land. X BAD

John’s father was a retired swordsman in the Oren military, after the undead attacks and the moving to Asulon he decided it was time that he lay down the sword for more important matters, family. Now days John’s father teaches John the way of the sword, not so that he can join any particular military, but so that he can defend himself for future experiences to come. √GOOD

Your ambitions are underdeveloped.

You need to show some advanced thought processes. What would your character like to do in the near and distant futures? What is your character planning? You also need to justify your decisions. Why does your character want to do this? Things such as planning to kill all bandits, orcs, humans etc. are unacceptable ambitions as this would require a villainous activity.

You need to embed the screenshot of your skin.

For me to accept you I must be able to view your skin as I need to judge whether it is acceptable for this server, reason being if someone joins this server, but do not show their skin but they have a Tron skin on I would be in big trouble, but for me to be able to view your skin it must also be embedded. The reason your skin needs to be embedded is because recently people have been linking some dangerous websites to where the image of their skin has been hosted. To avoid this we request that the image is directly linked to this website either as an upload or being embedded into the post itself. You can do this by following this tutorial:

1. Go in-game and press the “F5” button TWICE. (Not once as this will show the back of your character)

2. Take a screen shot by pressing the "PrntScr" button on a windows computer or press F2 on the keyboard, then go to start => Run and type in this: %appdata%/.minecraft/screenshots

3. Find the screenshot and open it in an image manipulation program such as Paint or Gimp.

4. Crop the image so that only the area close to your skin (including the skin) remains.

5. Save the file and go to tinypic.com

6. Upload the file

7. Click ONCE on the text box underneath: "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"

8. Right click and copy the entire text

Some or all of your answers to the Open Response questions need a lot of improvement.

Instead of describing what your character would do, you need to assume that your character is in the situation and acting as they would in that situation. You need to describe a scene of RP. This means that you cannot write “If this happens, then my character would do that.” As this shows that you are not Roleplaying, you are answering the question from what you think that your character might do. You need to show us that you know who your character is, you know what the situation is and you know how your character is going to react.

This also means that you need to write in full RP. For example:

Josh talks to the shopkeeper, buys a few apples, pays the shop keeper and leaves. X BAD

Josh walks up to the man standing behind the rough oaken market stand. The sounds of a busy market can be heard all around him. An annoying fly buzzes around his head, so he absent-mindedly begins to inefficiently swat it away. “Ah, greetings shopkeeper! I was just browsing your wares.” The shopkeeper nods at Josh and then turns towards another customer to attempt to assist them the way all market shopkeepers must. Suddenly Josh felt a slight tugging sensation on his belt. He was about to brush it off as nothing, perhaps just someone bumping into him until he realised his belt was slightly lighter. He noticed a man beginning to run off in the opposite direction of himself. He glanced down to see that his coin purse was missing. He put two and two together and then shouted at the top of his lungs. “STOP THEIF!”… √ GOOD!

We expect that you write in full RP and that you write a full paragraph or more for each question.

You powergamed and godmodded. One does not simply kill bandits. You need to write some REALISTIC rp. Chances are these bandits will kill YOU/knock YOU unconscious. Bandits are players and are very powerful characters. If you are by yourself in-game and you try to just kill bandits you will be banned for no-rp killing (read the rules) or at the very least completely destroyed by the bandits whom have had a lot of combat experience since they are BANDITS. We encourage RP pvp on this server, which means each party will demonstrate their actions through emotes. When responding to this situation you need to write DETAILED and DESCRIPTIVE responses. This means no "slices through the bandits neck" but write what your character aimed for, how much force he put in, what weapon he was using, how the bandits responded, what tools they are using, how they used them, how they blocked/parried/dodged, their skills and abilities. You have so much to write, this is what we expect of you.

This is the BEST roleplaying minecrat server and as such you need to be on par with the rest of the server in terms of RP skill. Those who display sub-standard RP skills should not be allowed onto the server lest they make everyone else's minecraft experience bad.
