Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Roy is a sturdy man of above average height with muscles earned through hard work as a blacksmith. He has a somewhat intimidating appearance with thick brown hair and fierce blue eyes. However despite this he is a kind person who respects others opinions and ideals. Born in a reclusive town in the human lands, he was a slightly above average man at best. He was a only son to a merchant family. His father by the name of Brian wanted his son to take over his store when he retired and as such taught Roy the ways of becoming a successful merchant. That is he tried to, but atlas young Roy was hardly interested in taking over for his father’s profession. Instead of looking at lists of goods Roy wanted to climb mountains in search of rocks. The very thought of staying inside doing hard work never occurred to Roy as he would run to and from the town square admiring the armor and weapons of any traveling soldiers. To put it short, nothing could keep Roy interested in doing an honest day’s work. His father tried desperately to get Roy to pay attention to his lessons to no avail. Eventually Roy’s father had enough of the irresponsible Roy he publicly disowned his own son and kicked him out of the town never to be seen again. This life changing action hit the once carefree Roy hard as he stumbled out of the town in a dazed state.

By chance Roy managed to stumble into another town after 3 long, weary days. It was nestled in between a grand mountain range and was well known for its mining and blacksmithing. As Roy was walking around town nearly starved to death, he found a lone smithy with ripe melons in the fenced off back yard. Roy, overcome with hunger, hoped the tall fences and started to devour the melons without restraint. As he was eating he didn’t notice a solid figure walk up right next to him. Suddenly Roy was picked up by the collar of his rugged shirt by a giant bearded man. Shocked witless he flailed his weak arms frantically at the other man in a desperate act of self-defense. That other man then quickly hit Roy in the guts and knocked him out cold. Roy awoke the next day to the banging of steel and sizzling of iron. With cautious steps he went out of his bed to investigate. Roy saw the large man again and then without thinking tried to rush out the door. The man saw Roy and stopped his attempt. After calming Roy down he told him that if he went outside he would call the authority’s to arrest him for theft and destruction of property. After hearing this Roy asked why this strange man kept him here. The man replied with just a hint of a smile that he wanted an apprentice blacksmith.

Roy was skeptical at first, of both the man’s reasons for keeping him and of doing blacksmithing work in general. Yet Roy quickly gained a liking for this new craft and for the first time in his life, wanted to study and partake in actual work. Roy became a grand blacksmith in a relatively short time and soon desired to become even better, by listening to the strange man’s teachings. Time flew by quickly and Roy quickly became friends of a sort with that man, who was known as Jarele. Eventually Roy even thought of Jorele as a 2nd father and deeply admired him. Jorele was actually a kind hearted person who was willing to listen to both sides of any story. Joreles influence eventually rubbed off on Roy who after 5 years of hard work had become a new man. His once average body was now a solid mass of harden muscles and his personality greatly differed as well. Once care free and uncaring was now a kinder, more honest man who acknowledged most every ones viewpoints and had a renewed interest in knowing what other wonders where out in the world. It was due to this that after those long 5 years Roy eventually decided to say farewell to Jorele and ventured off to the other parts of the human kingdom to become a better blacksmith, make a honest living off it, and perhaps one day be well known for it as well.
