I'm a workout addict; I love to lift weights and get bigger. I'm a college student of health and fitness, who will be working as a personal trainer soon. I love going out with friends and getting drunk. When I'm home I play video games to kill time.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

One to four hours, depending on what my schedule and plans are.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Pretending to be someone else in a fictional world.

Mount and blade: War-band, World of Warcraft (only until burning crusade), Garry's mod, Warcraft three role-play maps, and star craft two role-play maps.

Doing something in game that your character, shouldn't be able to do. Such as hunting down a player since a buddy of yours told you his location outside the game through team-speak or meeting you in person.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

A good environment where discrimination isn't tolerated and players behave like their characters. Such as paladins don't rob and kill innocent players.

Herocraft, I've left to play with my friend Slapacookie on this server.

Yes I have. I like the fact that in war you need to tell your enemies five days in advance, instead of just showing up and killing everything.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Born in the small town of Frost hold, where the winters where long, and the summers where short. The town had a few exports, and little wealth. The main exports where herbs, meat, and weapons. The town wasn't heavily populated, with only skilled warriors, hunters, gathers, merchants, and one retired knight. My parent where both normal citizens, my mom being a hunter and a gather. While my dad was a guard for the town. My birth was a normal birth, inside my parent's house with my mom and dad there. I was born with a sister, however sadly she was a stillborn.

During my youth, I was a regular kid, playing games with the other kids, and helping my mom gathering herbs. I was fairly well accepted by most of my peers I got along with most of the kids. I never could understand the mind of a noble child and why he thought that he was better than a poor kid, which lead me to get in to scraps with the noble kids, when they would bully the poor. As a kid I would also love to lift heavy objects to prove what little strength I had over my peers. I never did learn how to use a bow, or to hunt. My mom wished for me to go hunting with her on my 18th birthday, when I would be considered a man by the town's standards.

On my twelfth birthday, my dad forced me to become a student of the town's only knight, Steward. However, I wasn't the only one who was aspiring to become the knight's student. It took me four years to advance from being his student, and during those four years, I had to spend one year as a blacksmith's apprentice to pay of my sword. My parents wanted me to earn my first blade, instead of being offered one. So during that one year I helped around the blacksmith and near the end I forged my first blade. I named my first blade Pride, it was a regular steel two handed sword, with the inscription, "He who wields me is only fit to do so, as long as he believes in his own strength". On my sixteenth birth I became an apprentice knight for two years, who followed along Steward and helped him out on errands, and tasks.

The week before my eighteenth birthday I was sent out to check on a neighboring village, It took me three days to arrive to Aier. I spent a night there, which afterwards I check up on the locals and headed back to Frosthold. I arrived on my birthday and I was welcomed by an unknown presence of cold death. Everyone in my village had been slaughtered, my mom died on the walls defending the town, and my dad died at the gate holding the line. No one got out, no one was left alive to tell me who attacked us. Ever since then I've been wondering for about two years, looking for a purpose to live, or a power to bring everyone back to life.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

Power, honor, and loyalty. He wants to be a knight, and get stronger to the point where he can bring his village back.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

two handed swords, the bigger, and heavier the better.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Swordsmanship with two handed swords.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

He gets involved by telling the guards to leave the half-ling alone, and fights them if needed to defend himself or the half-ling.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Hello there my good man, what are you're specials?

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Waits a small amount of time to see if anyone would go in, if not he would take the items.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Good day, I was wondering if I could get some food, and directions. In return I offer my services as a knight.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Join to eliminate the bandits. Afterwards he would give some of the gold to the needy that have been suffering from the bandits.

This is a high end roleplay server, so you have to put in a lot more effort into our application process if you expect to get in. As a college student I expect more from you. Also, the player base consists of more than just adults, there are children on this server so Minecraft names such as "HornyBull" and saying you love getting drunk are slightly inappropriate, but I cannot deny you for this. What I can deny you for is the over quality of your application.

Your definition of roleplay is half-baked, and doesn't seem to have any real effort thrown into it. Please give an extensive definition to prove that you adequately understand the term.

Your definition of metagaming is unclear, the example is correct, but the definition itself is quite skewed. Please reword it, and try again.

Your definition of powergaming is just incorrect. Perhaps look it up on our wiki, or do a forum search, this should clear up any confusion.

Your biography lacks several qualities that make it acceptable. You failed to include any lore related material what so ever, which suggests you haven't read the Lore or the wiki pertaining to our realm. Please do so, and rewrite your biography with these things in mind. Also, having your village being wiped out is overly done and unoriginal, I would rethink that and try and come up with something a bit more creative. At this rate we won't have any towns left, since they are all getting slaughtered to pave the way of some half baked hero.

Your ambition is rather dull. It perhaps mirrors that of eighty percent of the player base. Please elaborate on it and make it more original to your character. Your ambition is basically to give us a sense of what your central roleplaying aim is, where you will go with your character once dropped into Asulon.

Why are the big two handed swords your favored weapons, and how did he get so skilled with them. You only offered me that you worked for a smithy for a year or so, and probably learned the skills associated with the trade. However, you did not clearly state this, so I am left wondering where you got these skills, because you stated them no where in your biography. Please do so.

Now for the main reason I denied you, at a glance I can tell your open response questions are far too short. They lack substance and depth, and do not give me a clear taste of who your character is and how you will roleplay him. The open response questions should be answered with in depth full roleplay responses, and you should pour in as many details as you can. For these questions are going to give us the first taste of how you will roleplay your character, and will ultimately tell us if you able to roleplay the character you describe and follow the rules we have set in place. Please redo all of them, and put in much more effort.
