Minecraft Account Name: Sarkly

Character Name: Shar'xir Alean'ndar

Gender: Female

Age: 19 (Mori) 95 (Human)

Appearence: Short for a Mori, but still with time to grow. Shar'xir has red hair, brighter than most, and dark skin, like most Mori. Her eyes are green, with blue corneas, and her features are elfish-looking, with high cheekbones and a defined, yet balanced, nose. She enjoys wearing gold, silver, and jewels for the attention it brings her, as is noticed in her style of clothing. She generally wears leather, but sometimes wears dark gray and black spider silk clothes.

Personality: Shar'xir is more emotional than other Mori, but she is still very cunning and power-hungry. She feels that loyalty is foolish, although whenever she breaks a friendship or betrays somebody, the observant may notice even sadness in her eyes. She is a fearsome warrior, and enjoys the darkness, using it as her ally whenever she can. Hateful against the surface races for their encroachment and crimes agains the Mori'Quessir and their blatant disregard for Nemiisae, she struggles to be civil around them.

Biography: Shar'xir is the middle child of Tyr'sshul Alean'ndar, a not-so-influential member of the house. From her first days, Shar'xir showed significant mental prowess, talking and walking extremely early, and learning to read and write before she was even one Mori year old. She showed extreme interest in alchemy, and excelled at this in school.

The non-academic aspect of her education, which was predominant in school, was a struggle for her during the early years. The females often picked on her, more than mentally, and she was even mocked, openly, for a while, by the more dominant males. She adapted quickly, though, and by the time she was two mori years old, she was among the more dominant females of her class. Before she turned two, she had left many mori behind her, betrayed and taken advantage of, in the power struggle that had gotten her to where she was now. By the time she was almost three mori years, she had mastered subtlety in the game she played, and was only ever bested at it once, but even that she turned to her favor.

When Shar'xir entered the world of adults, however, she was taken by surprise at the fierceness with which the game was played, and she was continually thwarted. Turning aside, nominally, from her fight for power, she took up further learning as her major focus. Soon, she had learnt much of the art of bending the powers of nature to her will, and was able to create minor potions and and perform minor spells. She decided against being a mage, and turned instead to the path of priestess. Now she hopes to be successful at this, and satisfy her hunger for power, and perhaps even cover over her regret and sorrow for all that she had done in her life.

Your characters ambitions: Shar'xir hopes to become a powerful priestess or matron.

===Roleplay Related Questions===

As your character wanders the back-streets of Menorcress, you sight a cloaked figure lurking in one of the shadowed nook behind the Brothel: a rustle of cloth is heard, and the figure ushers you in with a skeletal finger. The hooded figure imparts information involving a conspiracy to over-throw the House of Miiystra, and offers you a hefty sum of coin to partake in the planned attack. How does your character react?

She knows that nobody is nearby because she had been looking for that while on her way. She listens carefully to the voice, smells the smell of the hooded figure, and sees their skin tone. She knows this person. Considering whether to let on or not, she decides against it, and reacts like almost any other Mori probably would. "Why would I ever attempt to overthrow Miiystra? Don't you know what happened to the others?" She refuses the bag of coin, and, as she leaves, ponders whether it was a trap, or whether this is a legitemate opportunity for her to kill her friend in order to gain favor with the ruling house.

Your character finds him/herself watching the Alure d'aphyon: the several fighters within the void maze wield only sticks as they prove their prowess as warriors by battling to the death. One of fighters happens to be a close companion of yours, and you witness him being strategically cornered by three of the other fighters and beaten to death. While the crowd cheers in celebration of the violence, and the death of your friend. How does your character react? Shar'xir stares down at the gory scene, biting her lip. It's strange, how fragile life is. I knew him, and now he is dying. As his skull is crushed and the other Mori turn on each other, she cheers on the violence. At least there are a few potential enemies removed. A smug grin crosses her face, and fades, as if it were never there. Better not show any emotion, either positive or negative. When only one contestant remains, and the rest are dragged off in the mandibles of giant spiders, she makes sure to note who the winner was. After all, she might encounter him again. In fact, she probably would, she decided.

Your application to the Mori has been denied.

Reasons are as follows

1. The Alean'ndar house requires an application for those who have the bloodline.

2. Your skin is green... The Mori aren't Orcs.

3. Magic and Alchemy is not allowed with the Mori.
