The Hunger Games!

On Saturday 12th May, up to 24 tributes will clash in a legendary battle. Up for grabs; a 3000 mina prize. So what will the game entail?

The Start

Up to 24 tributes will start in the Cornucopia and will be moved into their starting pods. When the countdown reaches zero, the tributes will be released from their pods and into the Cornucopia, where four chests filled with various goodies await them. But, be cautious when running for them, because the loss of just a second could mean the difference between life and death... Of course, you can choose to turn around and run the other way; you are less likely to die, but you will certainly be less equipped for the later stages.

Then what?

After that, your best hope of survival is to search around the map for chests, and prove yourself to the sponsors who may gift you with various items and treasures, or spawn mobs right on your tail...

Once dead, players will gain the ability to vanish and fly around so that they can watch the game but they will be unable to interact with the other players or the world around them.

The GameMaster along with the GameMakers will moderate the event, and make sure that everything is running smoothly whilst everything is also fair and in the true spirit of the Hunger Games.

Sponsors will be able to make requests of items to give to certain players, each will be given 1000 tokens at the beginning of the game, and gifts will cost more tokens as the game progresses - so sponsors will have to watch their balance carefully and work together to give out the expensive gifts.

So how does one sign up to the games?

Simply reply to this post with your MC name and whether you wish to participate in the games or act as a sponsor. Sponsors will have to pay a fee so that we know they will be less likely to join in order to abuse their power, and to maintain a stable server, we will be limited to 5 sponsors. However entry to the event itself requires nothing but a quick post and you will have a shot at winning yourself 3000 minas! A maximum of 24 players can take part in the games, so just in case there are a vast number of replies, the entry will be run on first come first served.

Talf, you were banned for attacking players whilst dead and out of the game. Although it did allow me to see a problem and fix the permission system. First apologise to the people you attacked because I know they were upset by it at the time, then I'm sure I can forgive and forget.

It was an accidental misclick, when you press F10 or something your screen freezes and you have to click to avoid it. Heres my response on my profile

My game froze and I was clicking about to activate it. I then managed to gain control and I was infront of Pok and Hawk before being banned :/
