Democime's Kharajyr Application!

Character Skillset: Swords: 30 Lumberjacking: 46 Blacksmithing: 30

Appearance (age, SUBRACE, gender): Age: 45 Subrace: Cheetah Gender: Male

Personality: Deomcime is a friendly, good hearted Kha' that is very unlikely to start a fight. Not really one to lead but you can easily rely on him to get the job done no matter what. Democime has an unusual talent in art and enjoys painting, sometimes even selling his work.

He is also one to think of the consequences of happenings before acting, allways looking at the odds. To say he was very smart would be lying. He just tends to use his brain more even if he knows little. Information is not the kind of thing he would want to collect when he could be doing something useful.

Please include a short bio of your character's life: Democime had a middle class kittenhood. He was very entusiastic, never left behind. Alas he was never in front leading the way for the rest. One of his kitten hobby's consisted of drawing crude pictures of friends and family in the sand and dirt with sticks, in wich he sharpened on a rock. To put it frankly, they were just kitten doodles and were wuite terrible, but he enjoyed doing it. Democime had lots of interaction with other kittens but he barely ever found himself in a fight.

As a cub, Democime's father began to teach him the ways of the Kharajyr in preperation for the trails. When given his first wooden sword, it's like he has two left paws. He was utterly useless with it, allways giving the impression of a failure to his father. But hope was re-gained when Democime recieved his first bow, he was a very good shot. Better than his father and he was a cub! This skill in archery was the only thing that brought him through the trails in success. While Democime's father taught him the ways of war, his mother taught him was to make paints and a canvas. It was these times when wonderful, colourful artistic works emerged from the cubs paws. A large improvement to his previous habit of drawing in sand and dirt.

Past the trails, Democime took the path of the Do. Going as an archer but still useless in close combat. This has to be his biggest downfall. He still enjoys painting as a hobby and sometimes even makes a profit from Kha willing to buy his work.

Character's ambitions: To bring the Kharajyr empire to the top of the 'food chain'

_---Situational Rp Questions---_

1.As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands.

He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies.

How do you react?: Democime hisses, diving backwards onto all fours to scamper wildly up the nearest tree disappearing into the branches...

He clings onto a branch as he slowly crawls forward just enough to make out the shape of the ape below. It's staring up into the tree's searching for him with a ghastly gaze. After what feels like hours, it shrugs, and begins wandering in a random direction, still searching for help. Democime beginds to stalk the creature, climbing from tree to tree silently above the ape. Democime fights the urge to let out a chuckle as he sees the ape fall over into a large muddly puddle on the forest floor, taking note to the position of the ape and the tree that conceals Democime. He pulls out his bow seeing a clear opening as the ape curses loudly...

From the ape's perspective, the arrows appears from no where, giving him no time for avoidance. The arrow plunges deep into it's leg. Completely disabling the limb. The ape screams in agony as Democime drops from his concealment to drag the now heavily wounded ape to the emperor.

2.As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern.

Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak.

"Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!"

He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?: Democime surveys the room. He has no element of suprise, no advantage and no handicap in his favour... The though of a fight vanishes as Democime frowns, not speaking at all. He slowly backs away out of the entrance of the tavern. It's so silent you could of heard a pin drop. Once outside he returns to the romping in another location.

3.One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door.

After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake.

What do you do in response? Democime firstly informs the Kha that he's a moron. But he gives him what supplies he can spare and ushers him out of his home. Democime tells him to head west out of the jungle, also that if anyone comes asking him, he would find ways to mislead the happenings.

Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred? I do.

Welcome to the Kharajyr!

However I'm not sure I like "Democime" as a name.... Up to you though.
