Minecraft Account Name:HoosierForLife

How old are you?:As it stands I'm 13, but I turn 14 at the end of the month.

Time-Zone/Country of Residence:Eastern, U.S.A

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:I feel I have a firm grasp on the English language. However, I'm not perfect, so please forgive the occasional spelling error.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I spend most of my time at my PC or outside, as I love both video games and sports. I also feel like I am pretty laid back, so you wouldn't need to worry about me breaking the rules.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:Unless I have something to do, most likely 2-3 hours a day, so a maximum of 18 hours a week.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:Roleplaying (RP)is where you control a character that you create. The best thing about RP is that your character can do things that you would never be able to do in real life. To sum it up, roleplaying is the way one expresses him/herself through a fake character.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:I have played through all but 2 of the Elder Scrolls, plenty of RP minecraft servers, and WoW. I always try to illustrate myself as the character, and ask myself, 'What would I do in this situation?' Now this obviously doesn't apply to everything (Learning spells, summoning things, etc.), but If someone needs help, I would help them in real life, so I convey that through my character, if that makes any sense.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:From what I can conclude, metagaming is using any information obtained in real life towards your gameplay. For example, if a friend you have in real life told you the coordinates of a town, you're not supposed to use that information to go pillage the town. Any information you use should come from in-game. I'm pretty sure that;s wrong, but that's all I could gather.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:So, say you have a shop (in-game), and 5 people come in to rob it. They RP and tell you to lay down. If you weren't Power-Gaming, then you would do as instructed, as you are outnumbered 5:1. However, if you WERE power-gaming, you would then say something like 'My strength is to great. I break free and run away,' because that's honestly not possible. Being an overall jerk is power-gaming.

What do you expect this server will be like?:I expect both a relaxed and intense RP experience. For example, starting a town with your friends would be a fun, laid back RP type thing to do. Pillaging a village or getting in an intense PVP fight would be more on the hardcore side.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:I haven't played on any roleplaying servers that take things as seriously as The Lord Of The Craft, but I have left a few prison servers because of poor administrating and overall cruelty of other players (For example, poeple constantly killing you for absolutely no reason, Administrators/Moderators jailing you for no apparent reason, etc.)

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:I agree to all the Laws, and am fully aware of the punishments that have been implemented.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules:I do.

How did you hear about us?:I was just casually pondering the forums.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?:N/A; This is my first application.

In-Character:

Character Name:Trig

What Race are you?:Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):None

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Trig grew up in a rather poor family. His house was small and his possesions minimal. Everyone thought his looks were average. Nothing out of the ordinary. Short, blonde hair and deep blue eyes. The usual. Their wheat farm in their backyard provided them with their very small earnings. His father also did whatever odd jobs were available. They usually consisted of running to town to pick something up, yard work, chopping down some trees, etc. They were able to scrape by, despite bankruptcy staring them in the face.

Trig often would have to fight away pests that popped up in his garden, like spiders or creepers. By age 10, he was pretty handy with a sword, and had good knowledge of farming. Every now and then, he was also able to help his father do his odd jobs. This generated a little bit more money. Everyone was happy and glad with where they stood at the moment.

Then, tragedy struck. Trig's mother died of and unknown illness. Trig and his father were devastated. They didn't know where to go from there. Just as quickly as Trig's mother had dided, his father went into a state of depression. He didn't talk much or do much. Mostly, he just sat there, an empty, hollow expression on his face. Trig was forced to provide for the two. He was only 12, and could barely earn any money.

Finally, Trig turned 16. He left his father to die alone, as he was fed up with him. He wanted a father who would help him and love him. If he didn't so that, he didn't want him around. So, he moved on. On to new adventures and new faces. His wandering landed him in a small settlement, where the people were kind and compassionate.

Another day came. Trig woke up and was about to got attend his daily duties, when the raiding party attacked. The village outnumbered them 2:1, but they were skilled. Eventually, the raiding party was killed, but not before 14 causualties of their own were taken. Trig sustained a puncture wound to his side.

Eventually, Trig's body healed up. Today, he is 17. That attack changed Trig immensly. He is now a bit more cautious and careful. He was once a tough kid, but now he is a bit more nervous about getting into altercations. However, that doesn't mean he sits back and let's people throw insults at him. He will still hold his own, but is less likely to start something.

What are your Character's ambitions?:Trig's badly wants a great position of power, as he feels he has strong leadership skills.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):Trig would take a sword over anything, as he wields one with great skill

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? He is known for his vast knowledge of weapons, but is best at handling swords. He is also very agile, but lacks great intelligence.

Other Information about your Character:

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Trig would help the halfling, but would use words instead of weapons. If it escalated to a point where weapons are drawn, he would also draw his. If the halfling and Trig beat off the warriors, whether with word or weapon, he would be sure to get a bit of money from the halfling, as Trig doesn't like to do things for free.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Seeing no potential danger, Trig would calmy say 'Nothing, thanks' and go on about his business, as he knows that Alras is full of cheap shops, and he doesn't want to get ripped off.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Trig would first wait 1 day near the house to be sure it's abandoned. If no one comes home, then he would swiftly grab the contents of the chest and leave. He doesn't want to be on the wrong side of the law, but being poor, he will take what he can find.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Trig would go into the trade camp, and get what things he could afford, and then be off. He is happy to take chances if it will yield things worth the risk. Considering he was about to starve, food was of the upmost importance, and if he didn't get it, he would die anyway. However, you can't get to relaxed at strange places, so he would leave as quickly as possible.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Knowing he is extremely skilled with a sword, Trig would gladly accept this offer. He gets to use his skill to make money, which couldn't get much better.
