Sa'dyra - Volutional Kharajyr Application

Character Skillset:

Stealthier than most of the Kha’, mostly because he is a Pantera. He uses a bow and arrow, and sometimes a javelin (RP’d using sufficient emotes and with a bow). Sa’Dyra is an expert archer. But unlike the other Pantera, he is mildly weak in the upper body, but his legs are strong and he can run faster than average. Sa’Dyra cannot use a sword or axe, and therefore uses his arrows as a melee weapon if needed. (When it comes to PvP, I will not participate in Melee combat, to aid this)

Appearance (age, SUBRACE, gender):

Sa’Dyra is a very tactile Kha’Pantera. He is now at the age of thirty, and is a male Kha’. He is a thick black, with silky clean fur. He keeps it that way himself. He wears minimal clothing, a small leather outfit covering his chest a slight and his lower area.

Personality:

A very mysterious Kha’, Sa’Dyra tends to stay quiet about facts, and keeps them to himself. Or the other Kha’. Depending on which Kha’ his associates with. If he isn’t around gathering information he is bringing cold humour to the Kha’ he talks to, and prefers to be blunt amongst them, telling them exactly what he thinks of them. This is a very obscure trait, although he will still respect his highers.

Please include a short bio of your character's life:

Sa’Dyra began his days inside the city of Va’Khajra. When his was a Kitten, he behaved as most did, playful and hyperactive. But his fun couldn’t really last long, for his Mother and Father were extremely poor. They had to amuse Sa’Dyra by making sticks with string to fire other sticks. Basically a bow and arrow, just not as violent.

Sa’Dyra aged on. When he reached fourteen, he started to span towards the end of his maturing stage. He will soon take on the weight of his family, as his Father had grown massively ill. His Mother did work on the farm, but it’s yield was little and she needed more hands. It was after this Sa’Dyra begun working on the farm, and he began to focus on improving his athleticism, spurred on because of his will to help him Mother earn money.

Things weren’t going well though, his Father’s condition was getting worse, and the prayers to Metztil weren’t being answered. If only the Tla’ was able to hear their plee, but they weren’t able to get notes to him, or they would risk losing money. It was a bad age for them, and so Sa’Dyra was forced to leave home early than anticipated, to go out on his own and into the fray.

His Father passed without him knowing, and he couldn’t return home under command of his mother, and he insisted to do so, in order to maintain her happiness and trust in him.

Character's ambitions:

He really wants to make his Mother and Father proud. He to this day does not know of the death of his Father. And so he must earn money and make honest sacrifices in his life. Deciding what is really important, and what can be spared for help to his family.

_---Situational Rp Questions---_

1.

As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?:

Sa’Dyra growls a slight whilst staring into the Human’s eyes. The human continues to panic, and explain his situation. But Sa’Dyra does not listen. He just moves his head down a slight, his eyes fixed on the Human’s eyes.

The Human begins to run, fearful of the Kha’ he has just witnessed. Sa’Dyra looks to vines near the Jungle Tree nearby, and begins to climb quickly, looking forward to the running Human from time to time.

He then leaps onto the soft palms of the next tree, and the next. Still pacing his eyes across the Jungle and the Human.

Suddenly, he pounces and unsheathes his Bow in the air. As he hits the ground, he fires. The human has little chance of survival. But he was on our land.

Sa’Dyra fired only because he felt at danger. He felt that this Human was going to harm the Kha’, so he protected his lands, and himself.

2.

As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak.

"Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!"

He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?:

Sa’Dyra is off of the Island, and he knows whatever he does here will influence peoples’ opinion of the Kha’...

He honestly ignores the Dwarf, and continues to ask for a room in the Tavern.

The Dwarf persists, but Sa’Dyra won’t budge.

Finally, the Dwarf shouts “Oi, Cat! I’m talking to you!” Slamming his Ale Mug to the table.

The Tavern grows quiet, and all eyes seem to focus on the Dwarf. Sa’Dyra doesn’t look, he purposely continues to talk, and ask for the room.

Hopefully the Dwarf will learn not to embarrass himself again.

3.

One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response?

Sa’Dyra has little friends, but this Kha’ has always been dear to him. Ever since his childhood he has grew up with this Kha’, as a Brother than a friend.

But the traditions call, and so does Metzti.

Sa’Dyra quickly tenses his arms, and announces the presence of his claws. The other Kha’ seemingly violent also. Sa’Dyra leads the confrontation to a chase, in order to alert more Kharajyr of this betrayal.

The other Kha’ pounce into action, and the killer is taken to the Temple to Sacrifice this Kha’ to Metzti.

Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred?
