Out-Of-Character

Minecraft Account Name: ShelbyIsRockin

How old are you?: Fourteen :3

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: USA,Central Time

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I do!

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm fourteen and I've been roleplaying for four years now. I'm always happy and nothing really upsets me in roleplay because I understand that it's just roleplay. Roleplaying and writing has always been one of my strongest skills in life and this server seems like a good place to use them. :3

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Probably once or twice a day.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: To me it is creating a character of your liking, someone with flaws and strengths like an mortal and giving them a path to face, controlling their personality and reactions to certain scenarios. They are clay in your hands to mold as you work with them. In my opinion roleplaying is a form of creative writing with people, where you can express yourself as well as enjoy other people's characters.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: A lot! I've done a lot of minecraft roleplaying as well as forum roleplaying. I do animals and humans most of the time, or really anything you can throw at me!

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Taking information you learned out of character and applying it to influence what your character is doing. Say someone out of character tells you that your enemy is coming to find you and your character hides. Well that's meta-gaming because your character had no idea that his enemy was even coming!

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-gaming is landing hits on a character without giving them time to dodge or retaliate. Or even killing them without giving them time to dodge maybe a killing blow. Power-gaming is also never taking hits. It could be a lot more things but that is what I've had experience in.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I think it it'll be fun. I expect it to have a lot of roleplayers, new and experienced, that I can roleplay with. :3

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: None of them had enough roleplayers and it got pretty boring. Plus a lot of the times the admins never let the members shape the outcome of scenarios and even powerplayed at times.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have!

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Understood.

How did you hear about us?: A friend told me! :3 Zammie.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: No D:

In-Character:

Character Name: Abigail Fitch

What Race are you?: Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Elf. (if allowed at all? if not then just pure human xD)

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Abigail Fitch, at first glance, is hardly anything special. She stands at 5'6 in height and weighs about 130 pounds. She had some curves but not much at all with flaming red hair and dull brown eyes. Her skin is normally pale but tans up slightly in the summer. Despite that she normally burns and during the summer it's hard for her to keep a sunburn away on her face and arms. That's where were wide array of freckles are. Abigail's hair reaches down to the halfway point at her back, which is the place where she normally takes a dagger and cuts the rest off. She has sloppily made bangs that are normally swept to the side or plastered to her forehead with sweat.

The flaming haired girl was born on a small farm out in the wild. Her mother and father were young parents at the time and couldn't afford to buy a house in the Nations so they build a small shack themselves. As Abigail grew they added on to the house, especially as more children came. Abigail was a skilled huntress and followed her father around at the age of five to watch him hunt animals. Being stuck in the house made her fidget and cry so her father, Daniel Fitch, often took her out to even practice yard work instead of sewing with her mother. Her mother, Rita Fitch, would have her time though. A second girl was born when Abigail was five and they named her Quinn. The other tree children that were born in the later years were all boys (Walter, Cameron, and Jonathon).

Abigail was a restless soul, and when she was given her first bow at age eight she seemed to never be in the house anymore. She would normally bring home small prey, such as a few rabbits or squirrels. But by the time Abigail was fifteen she was taking down the occasional deer to bring home to her parents. Quinn, her little sister, wanted nothing to do with the killings of animals and spent her time sewing and sticking her nose up whenever Abigail came home in her dirty clothes. Their parents tried to discourage the unavoidable arguing that happened, but the two were just far too different. Abigail was out of the house at eighteen, gone and ready to live by herself. She has been a traveler for two years now and is looking for a nation to settle down in and maybe start a business of some sort.

Abigail is adventurous and acts more like a man than a woman. She hates being held down, being stubborn and prideful as she is. She wants to do things herself without a man on her arm, but at the same time is extremely flirtatious and can't go long without having an admirer or two. Despite how stubborn, prideful, and independent she can be, she is also slightly needy. Because Abigail is such a social butterfly if she goes too long without company she can become crabby and irritated. Put her back in a social situation and her mood completely switches to content and talkative again.

What are your Character's ambitions?: Start a bakery, get married and settle down with children when she has the time.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): A bow and arrows, or maybe a sword.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Hunting.

Other Information about your Character: She does not belong to a Nation/Kingdom currently :3

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Storm up to them, yell a lot, and attempt to distract them from the Halfling to either even out the fight or give it a chance to run. Abigail is one to get phsyical in fights, as well as taunt and yell in a scenario such as that.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Abigail looks at their wares curiously, but probably has next to no money so she passes. No use buying posh items that she has no room for anyway.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: She admires the items and takes the iron bars. She leaves the golden sword in hopes that whoever owned the items will possibly think that they lost the items instead of the items being stolen, or maybe the person owning the valuable items would at least have a sword to defend themselves in the wild.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Nod, smile, and greet them as politely as possible. She would hope that if she acts vulnerable, hungry, and polite they would offer discounted food or maybe even free food.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: She would swagger forward and offer her assistance without hesitation, but probably hang back with her bow and arrows during the actual fight. No use getting herself injured when she needs to keep herself alive, healthy, and thriving.

Anything else you would like to say?: Not at all, only that this seems like a very impressive server! :)
