Good day traveller! You received this piece of parchment as you appeared to be someone who likes a good adventure!

I am Jauher Bren - traveller, adventurer and archeologist. I have spent almost all of my adult years adventuring around Asulon, noting locations and authoring small documents regarding them. As of these years, I have not yet released my works - however they shall be released soon.

I am intending on leading, what you could call 'an expedition'! It's a journey that will take quite the while to complete, and all are welcome to come along.

I intend on taking the group who comes from the starting and meeting point, at the Cloud Temple - far North, to see the many ruins, landscapes and old structures that full that area.

There will of course be quite the small fee of two hundred minas, which covers your residence, water and the protection that shall be offered by a group of men who I have yet to hire. You will be required to bring your own food, although if you can not afford your own food - then be sure to make me aware, and I may be able to make a small exception.

The journey shall take place on foot, via cross-country areas - so do not wear good clothing - it will be ruined! You should bring a cloak to keep yourself dry, and I'd possible a form of weaponry - in-case we come across any creatures.

I shall take you to many locations I have found on my travels, and explain to you their history and just what they are.

It will be quite a long time from now however, so don't think that you need to pack already!

Now, onto the more OOC information about this.

This is more of an 'event' which is aimed at not only giving you a fantastic roleplay experience, but also letting you see areas of Asulon you wouldn't be able to see otherwise. It's the first of a few expeditions I'm planning, with others going in different directions.

The actual journey, including stops - will take around 3-4 hours at the most hopefully. We go around the locations, and back to the Temple.

As mentioned in the letter a fee of 200 mina is required. This is so I can purchase food for anyone not able to get it, and also to pay the guard or two I shall need to hire due to mobs.

We will have regular stops throughout, where we shall have an RP campfire and a rest so you can go and get a drink or something to eat IRL!

During these times, if you wish to not go afk, then there will be campfire RP happening (we'll even have an actual campfire!) e.g. story telling, singing or maybe some people going hunting for animals?

The locations we are going to - I shall not yet reveal - but it's a mix of ruins, towns/cities and really cool landscapes. These expeditions are aimed to showcase the beauty that is Asulon.

If there is too much interest for only one trip (which is unlikely), then more will be ran along the same routes.

The expedition will in-fact take place in more than two weeks time, nearer the 29th of June - early July,, however this post is to gauge interest in it before the full planning stage is finished. I may end up running the expedition sooner, however that is unlikely.

If there is a lack of interest, this idea shall be introduced at a later stage, nearer the time.

These series' of events are aimed to not just allow you to see Asulon, but also to allow you to have an awesome roleplay experience - one that you don't really get often /at all/.

Be aware: nearer the time, I shall be making a more detailed thread, with all the ooc information and roleplay info etc.

You should reply to this thread via talking to my character who handed you the leaflet. OOC questions should be in brackets.

I believe you should change the date, as July 24th is Independence Day. Around this time in America, many families go away, on vacation (including my own). [ ]

James is slightly put off, expecting to be recognized immediately. He frowned a bit and in his most dignified voice responded:

"I am His Royal Highness and Eminence, the Prince Archbishop James Hightower of Oren. I can be found at any of my estates, though a trained messenger falcon would be the best means of contacting me."
