Give a Small 2-3 Sentence Description About Yourself : I love playing minecraft, especially PVP and Role play servers. I am in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets and I have gotten a pilot's license from a course I did during the summer there. I am mature, tend to be nice to most people, however I get annoyed when people treat me like I am one of my meaner role play servers in Out Of Character chat.

How Much Time Could You Be On the Server Weekly? : At least 7 hours, unless something happens. Perhaps more, it really depends on what I'm doing in a given day.

What Do You Know About Role-Playing? : Role playing is when you either take a character and pretend you are that character or create on yourself, that is not yourself. To role play you would act as the person/creature you are role playing would act in any given situation.

What Experience Do You Have of Role Playing, If Any? : I have played on two role play servers in my time on minecraft. The first one was Land of Genesia. I then found a server called Islands of Calsky and have played on that for a good while. I have been playing on role playing servers for about four months now.

What is Meta Gaming? : Meta gaming is using out of character knowledge in character. This causes your character to know something that he would not have known and should not know and should find out him or herself rather than have your all knowing omnipotent mind beam it into his/her head. This can sometimes give you/your character unfair advantages over other/other people's characters and is frowned upon and even prohibited in most role play servers, and all of the ones that I have been on.

What is Power Gaming? : Power gaming is a highly frowned upon role play act and is often prohibited on role play servers. If you power game you are basically saying that your character is the best at this. He's a god! He can avoid any attack and kill anyone! Another part to power gaming which is as,if not more so frowned upon is when you do not give someone a chance to react to something you did in role play. Such as attacking them. You say *stabs Joe* and then start beating him to bits with your sword before he can even read the chat entry. Or, like on the first role play server I ever played on, you could say a barrage of attacks that the opposing character would have no time to respond to, nor would your character be able to do these tasks in that short amount of time. Another way is to say something like *cuts joe's head off now he's dead*. There are many other examples I can go through if need be.

What do you expect this server to be like? : I've been told many mixed things about this server. Like it is too MMO, but it has a great community. I think it will be fun if I can get past the thing someone told me about having to reach some kind of level 10 to craft sticks or something. So I'm making my character around that making sense. You'll see!

What Other Servers Have You Played on and Why did you leave them? : I have played on Land of Genesia role play server and Islands of Calsky role play server. I have not left either of them, however, in Genesia I have become very inactive.

Have you read and understood the rules? : Yes, I have.

Do you accept all of the rules of the forums, server, and team speak? : Yes, I do.

How did you hear about us? : Friends on Islands of Calsky told me about this server. Explained their likes and dislikes about it and I wanted to confirm or dismiss these by playing on this server myself. I also want to play on more role play servers! I am a role play junkie..

Have you previously made an application? : Yes, but I was turned down due to the race not being initially playable. Search up "Demotheus" in the search bar thing and you'll find it. I do not want to write out the large link and i cannot copy and paste it.

Character Name : Kya "Flower"

What Race Are You? : Dwarf

What Sub-Race Are You? : Forest Dwarf

Character Biography

(I will be writing the biography as a catogorization of Age, Appearance, Personality, and then History.)

Age : around 12 in "human" years. (someone please tell me how long the lifespan of a dwarf is because I can't find it in the dwarven wiki..)

Appearance : Kya is a little dwarf girl, standing at about 2 and a half feet tall. She has chocolate brown eyes, and earthy brown hair. Her hair is groomed into 2 separate sets of braids, one set on her back and one set on her front. They are held together by tightly woven vine. Her cloths are made of white wolf fir that is died a lush forest green and the edges of the clothing are trimmed with dark strips of leather. She wears a top that comes down above her belly button and a skirt that averages down around her mid leg. She is a fairly cute girl, as any small girl would be.

Personality : She is a very happy and free spirited child who often has a smile on her face with beaming eyes. She gets nervous if someone is scolding her and tends to wring her hands in such nervous situations. She tends to be kind in nature and loves cute animals such as Wolves, sheep and whatever else strikes her as utterly adorable at any given time, however, she dislikes cats and ocelots. She often wanders around aimlessly and picks flowers, as she quite loves the smell of them and other plants. She enjoys climbing trees as she enjoys the excitement of being on top of such tall objects. That being said, she loves being short and will often use this to hide in small places or run around peoples legs making mouse squeaking sounds. She is easily excitable and isn't sad for very long about anything. She loves thunderstorms and rain because she often looks up at the sky and wonders what it is saying and will occasionally yell back at it childish things like "WANT TO BE FRIENDS MISTER SKY!?!?" and other such things.

History : She was raised by several people, and not all at once. Her mother died at birth and has since been in the care of several people. She can't remember any of them any longer for she has been on her own for nearly 5 years. She has learned a fair bit of the common language but sometimes uses words as if they mean the exact same thing. For example, if she wants to say a word like Language, she will say "say". Anything to do with dialogue at this point she says "say".

She had been named Kya by her first "parents" but never had a last name. She recently, about 3 years ago, came up with "Flower" as her last name because she enjoys the smell of them and laying in them and has often used them as beds to sleep in at night. Her most recent "father" taught her many things to do with survival. She taught her how to gather or hunt for food and then prepare it, as well as giving her a few lessons in sword play, although she rarely uses her sword for anything other than hacking at grass for fun.

Sadly, depending on how you look at it, she has never had any friends, or at least ones she can remember. She mostly keeps to herself but if she talks to someone it usually doesn't last long enough to make friends as she would wander off. Her attention span has increased over the years, however, and can now hold a conversation, providing that it interests her. If it doesn't she has been known to say it bluntly, and some might say rudely, and often inadvertently ruining the conversation.

(looking at the biography right now I realize that the personality and history some what overlaps, however, I do not think this is much of a problem.)

What is your Character's Ambitions? : Her ambitions are very short lived as she still does not have a very large attention span, however her one true goal in life is to own a pet wolf and live in the forest. She is a "take what you need" person, and not one to hoard things or money that she doesn't think she will need within the run of a few weeks, or a month at most.

What is your Character's Favourite Tool? : Her favourite tool is the sword. She loves swords because they are fun to swing around at grass, and her last father loved swords, although she does not know the name of the man.

Open Response Questions Section

Traveling from Cloud Temple You see a small halfling being harassed by 2 armed warriors. They appear to be trying to rob him. how does your character respond? : *walks down the street from Cloud Temple and spots the scene unfolding. She decides that the men are not friendly and might try and hurt her, as they are doing to the halfling. She runs as fast as she can to the nearest nice looking grown up and says* "Mister! Mister! Some men are being mean to a tiny man!" *points towards the scene*

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He's offering various wares, the man turns to you and says in a posh accent, "'ello there! What can I do for you today?" What is your character's response? : *she half listens to the man's response while watching a butterfly fly around with a big smile on her face and then replies* "Um...um....uh...." *scratches her head* "Do you have any flowers!?!? I really like flowers and if you have flowers I can sniff the flowers and when I sniff the flowers I can go and plant them somewhere and then I can talk to them and ask them about their day and then. . ." *she rambles on, when she finishes the shop keep has a look that says he understood hardly any of that. However, having understood the part where he can make money from this he proceeds to fix his jaw, stop his eye from twitching, and put the small piece of brain matter that was leaking out of his ear back inside and replies to the girl* "Why yes we do! Would you like the red 'uns or the yellow 'uns? They are 2 minas each!" *the shop keep smiles, hoping that this friendly gesture will prevent the child from killing off more of his brain than she already has* *the girl replies with an excited shriek* "ALL OF THEM!" *and slaps a big smile on her face* *The man proceeds to get about 20 flowers, 10 of each kind, and hand them to her. She checks her pockets and then puts on a saddened face* "I only have 20..." *the shop keep, feeling somewhat generous today - possibly due to the fact that he is selling what he cleaned up off of his lawn earlier that day - takes the 20 minas after saying* "That's fine! Gimme what you 'ave on you and I'll give you the flowers!" *she smiles happily handing over the money and taking the flowers, she skips away sniffing the flowers deeply*

Whilst wandering in the wilds your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside your character see's a chest with a few iron bars and a gold sword. How would your character respond? : *She opens the chest and see's the shiny objects, not caring for their monetary value, and takes them. She spends a few hours playing with them and shaking the iron bars in a bag to make a clanking sound which she decides she enjoys. She starts slashing at grass with the gold sword and is entertained with the loot she -not knowing any better- stole from the previous owner of it. Her day is complete at this point and goes and finds a bed of flowers to sleep in*

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble upon a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue. how do you respond? : *a big grin slowly grows across the girls face as she takes a massive breath and lets it out in the form of rambling about her day and how hungry she is and how much she would love to eat some bred, cake, cookies, or pork chops* "Alright Alright! Here, come with us we'll get you fed and watered haha! *one of the men in the camp tell her and offers his hand. She takes it and skips happily to the mess hall with him and eats the food he offers.* "Thank you so much I really liked the food do you have any I can take with me to where I'm going!? Wait..wait..Okay, I have no idea where I'm going but I would love to go somewhere and I love running in circles and....uh...got any flowers?" *she says excitedly and very quickly. The man who gave her food has dealt with children before, unlike the shop keeper, and gives her some flowers and some food in a pack. She skips off out of the camp sniffing the flowers and humming happily*

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside of town in which you've been staying.The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any whom assist them. How does your character resond : *She walks up to the leader of the party and asks him what bandits are.* "they are very bad men who want to do harm to us, little girl!" *he says, not realizing the effect his words would have on the girl until it was too late. She shrieks and runs away crying* "I DON'T WANNA HAVE BAD MEN HURT ME! NO!!! HELP!" *This starts a commotion in the town and she hides in the town's garden, lying among the flowers hoping the bad men won't find her there.*

Sorry about some of the questions all throughout the application. For some reason I can never copy/paste onto forum threads. It's annoying, so this whole thing was typed out by me. Also, as for some of the open response questions that may have less than satisfactory answers, or maybe just too short, what is a little girl supposed to do in such a situation as bandits occupying the road to your town? So I tried. I had a lot of fun writing the open responses for this character and I feel that she is going to be a fun character to play if this gets accepted :)
