Basics

A Name

Every Character Must Have A Name.

Try to Choose Things Unique, Rather Than From Books Or Games, Though It Is Not A Rule Not To Do So.

I Have A Few Examples Of My Own, Which I Would Recommend Using;

Orcs; - Gorlaz, Kandahar, Snobrod, Frozgon, Noreeslor, Barrroc.

Warrior Typed Players; - Searsabre, Firebearl, Ardensmite

You Can Choose Any Name You Want, But Not Offensive To Anybody OOC.

Your Race

It is likely when you read this you have already chosen your race, but if not choose wisely, because it is impossible to change it again*

You should reflect on your race whilst talking in the RP channel, as it will affect your character's dialect or language. Also the different races have their different stereotypes. Take Orcs For Instance, they tend to be War-loved creatures. And Elves mostly nimble and peaceful.

Your Skin

Your skin is your character's appearance to others.

This is important because every player will judge you by looks.

For example, If I seen a black robed, hooded figure, I would suspect him to be slightly evil or corrupt (Opinion).

Everybody judges differently.

Character Traits

What I would define character traits as are either potential good points, and fatal flaws in a person.

For Example, Some Good Points would be: Kind, Caring, Loyal, Combative.

Though Fatal Flaws could include: War-monger, Glutton, Greedy

You should pick a few of each, mainly Good Points as you don't want to be a pain.

E.G

This is my old character's Biography

Name: Myst

Age: 34 Years

Race: Human, Southenor

Unique Features: Quite, Well-Spoken, Loyal.

Fatal Flaws: Deceiving, Blood-lusting

This would be a small example of a bio, you would have to add history to your character, which I will get onto now.

History

You should make your character a back-ground story.

Where was he/she born, who were their parents?

Answer some simple questions.

Think of it as an English Lesson Essay, Pick a number of words, and type up a history which you may or may not spend much time on.

This should be done in a notepad or in Microsoft Word or some sort of text saving system which helps you keep track of history with your character and make it alot easier for you to understand him/her.
