Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:I do have a very good grip on the English language, though, I make an occasional error when typing quickly.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:I am an intelligent 13 year old boy. I tend to have a short temper for idiots.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:I usually have plenty of free time with summer, but must see my other relatives every now and then. I would guess at the minimum 2 days. My maximum would be 7 days, of course.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:Role-playing is the act of playing a character or a role in a world or community. Breaking character would be ruining the role-play experience. In simpler terms, playing someone you’re not.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:I have played on a few role-play servers before, but usually get removed because angry players hate thieves. I do not believe this to be a problem though with your extensive rules and villain app, which I hope to fill out soon.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:Meta gaming is the act of using OOC knowledge in character. Thus giving yourself an advantage. Such as; my character dies and knows where a base is, my new character would not be able to know where this base is located or it would be meta gaming. Unless of course, my previous character told my new character earlier, or the location was recorded in my characters will.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is:Power gaming or Power emoting is giving your character an unfair advantage by using emotes such as “disarms opponent” or “freezes opponent with magic” and such. Essentially using emotes involving other players while they are not aware, using an emote they are not participating in, or have no control over.

What do you expect this server will be like?:I expect this server to be a fun, true, RP experience. My friends have told me that your server also creates its own special plugins unique to the server. I find this to be a very interesting element of play.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:I have played on few other servers with simple applications that allow any old fool join and ruin the experience. I mainly leave out of boredom, the gameplay is terrible, or I am removed for being a villain. I hope being a villain will not be a problem as I am fully aware of your villain application, which I soon hope to fill out as I’ve stated earlier.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:I read all the rules thoroughly and agree to all but one of them, the robbing and theft rule. I shall still follow this rule however .

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and TeamSpeak set Rules:I swear to abide by these rules to the best of my human ability. But if I do slip up on the off chance please alert me and I will re-read the rules immediately.

How did you hear about us?:I heard about your server from my friend Andrew, or hillsand. I’m not certain of his character name but I believe it to be Rurgan.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: I have not made a previous application and I am hoping that this will be my only application (though highly unlikely).

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):Tristan started out in a wealthy family of blacksmiths. He lived in a small home in solace. Ever since he was a boy his father would show him the ways of working with metals to create masterpieces. Every day he would work in the forge creating more and more marvelous weapons. He spent all his free time trading for ores, melting down the metal, fireing the metal and slamming his hammer down with immense force just for a blade sharper than a razor. To many his creations were nothing but knives, swords, and armor. To Tristan though, they were pieces of art. Every day he worked at the forge with his father in the high heat of the furnace and the smell of smoke and burning coal. When Tristan was 17 his parents were ambushed by the undead while returning from one of their trips. His father defended his mother until she escaped. His father was killed by the undead, eaten by the beasts, and he and his mother moved to a faraway town to become farmers. Tristan could not forget his father. Every day he remembers watching his father being mauled by the creatures. Wishing he would have acted sooner to defend his father. Tristan’s mother died 6 years later from disease. This disease had earlier wiped out whole city’s. His mother caught the disease a week before her undead encounter. The disease is unpredictable though, and strikes without warning. Tristan, angered by his parent’s death, forged armor and weapons. He then set off killing undead creatures around the realm of Asulon to avenge his parents. When he became 35 he was too weak to continue his life of adventure.

Tristan, now being age 35 resides in a farm in a town named Riven, relishing the old days of slaying monsters and creating master works with steel. Him being as old as he is, lives a simple, happy life and wishes to return to solace to die where he was born. He’s a kind person that serves cities, travelers, and beggars whether they need a sword for protection or food to survive. Though he may seem as a weak old man, he still has the fire of a warrior in his blood. Even the smallest combat brings back his memories and gets the blood flowing through his veins. He misses the old days of killing monsters and sometimes puts on his armor and kills monsters for old times-sake. Though not in perfect physical condition, he can still defend himself through the troubles of bandits and night time beasts. He has a small well-trimmed beard and nice hair. He wears suspenders along with a brown shirt and brown pants. His boots are black and iron tipped. He has a black belt with an iron buckle in the front and a leather strip in the back. He usually wears these casual clothes so he is not treated different by others that do now know about his past life.

What are your Character's ambitions?:He still wishes to rid the world of undead, even in his old state he does his best to kill any zombie or undead creature he can.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (Sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc.):His favorite tool is generally a sword for killing undead creatures and satisfying his warrior self.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?His most skilled talent is working at a forge repairing or creating steel masterpieces. Generally with iron, rarely with diamond, because its strength makes it almost impossible to form it into a blade.

Other Information about your Character:He is a Caucasian male that is about 6’4” and is very wise in knowledge and safe travel, as well as survival skills and the best fuels for a furnace. He also enjoys being in the woods and can quickly find some ones weak points by observing them whether up close, or far away. He stalks his prey before he kills it unless faced with immediate combat.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small Halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?He walks up to the halfling being harassed and says “Use this”. He then quickly hands the halfling a spare blade and draws his own weapon. The two warriors also un-sheath their swords and charge. Tristan and the halfling stand strong against the warriors and strike with the fury of 100 men. The warrior is knocked to his knees bleeding to death begging for his life. The other warrior watches in horror as his companion slowly dies in front of him. Tristan stares at the warrior and says “Unless you wanna’ end up like yer’ friend partner’, I suggest you leave my sight,”. The warrior runs in terror leaving the halfling’s coin purse behind. Tristan stares at the halfling and says “Use that blade if ya’ have any more trouble ok friend ?”

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well-dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?He would glare at the man and say “I know none of those items are real, there all either hot or fake”. The man begins to sweat and answers “wh-wh-what are you talking about, ha…ha…”. I know you’re a fraud, cut the accent, do you remember when you sold me those “magic seeds”? They didn’t work. Merchant: OH NO! PLEASE DON’T HURT ME! Tristan: I won’t so long as I get my money back. The merchant then quickly reaches in his satchel and pulls out the 100 Mina from the “magic seeds” and hands it to Tristan. Tristan takes the coins, tilts his hat, and walks away from the trembling merchant.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:Tristan being a blacksmith would take the iron after shouting “Hello!? Anyone live here!?”. Once he was certain it was abandoned he would retrieve the metal from the chest, put them in his satchel, and continue on his journey. If he spotted a poor man on his trails he would give the man iron to sell. With the rest once he got home, we would either use it on tools or save it for armor.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?Tristan would stumble into the camp weak from his lack of food, he would look at the merchant and reply “food”. He would then purchase any food the merchant has, and ask for directions to the nearest town. He would thank the merchants for their help and he would continue to the closest civilization. Once he arrives, he would take a carriage or ride a horse to his home where he would rest from his adventure.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:Tristan would approach the leader of the party and offer his assistance. They would then carry on and proceed to kill of the bandits one by one. Tristan would then finish off the leader with a strike more powerful than 10 warriors. The Guards, realizing Tristan’s true potential, honored him. He was then given a sword engraved with Tristan’s that he still uses today. Tristan claimed his reward and set off to his next destination, home. He then sharpened the blade, and prepared it for combat.

Anything else you would like to say?:I went longer than I originally had on my Bio and my ORQ’s. I hope this is my final application! :D –Tristan Glivar
