MC Name:

The display name for my Minecraft account is Alzaan.

RP Name:

My character has had many names since I started playing him back inlate Novermber last year, but for now he has simply settled with the surname of the first name he was ever given, Owl.

Character Age:

Owl is 92 years old.

Personality, i.e. tendencies, weaknesses, strengths, temptations, etc.:

Owl is generally a very kind, happy, peaceful, and pleasant man to be around, though when he is confronted with anything to do with the dark god Iblees, that can turn around quickly. Due to once being possessed by Iblees, then later following the dark god by choice, and the events that surrounded these times, Owl has grown to hate Iblees more than anything else in existence. When confronted by things to do with supporting Iblees, Owl can go into a state of extreme depression, frustration, and anger. Over the past few years he has been attempting to train himself to suppress his feelings, and though he has become better he is far from being able to do so completely. As a result of this, Owl feels very strongly about anything to do with hunting down and destroying everything to do with Iblees once and for all, and will give his complete support to almost any cause that seeks to do so. Out of shame, Owl refuses to tell anyone of his past, seemingly in hope that if he dosnt speak of it, it will be forgotten from history and his memory. On another note, very few people alive in Asulon know that Owl once worshipped Iblees, and only one knows that he later worshipped Iblees on his own accord. All of these people do not know Owl by his curent name, and have been led to believe he is dead.

OOC reasons you should be a monk:

Most of my time of this server has been spent RPing in Oren and other human nations, with a slight bit of dwarvern RP on the side. Ive become reasonably bored of it now as its getting extremely repetitive, frustrating, and generally not fun to be part of. Ive thought about what kind of RP I want to find, and decided that the monks are the best place for me. The monks get to interact with characters of different races from all over Asulon, as well as living in a place that generates more RP than anywhere else on the server. With the variety the monks offer, I doubt I will ever get bored there, and that is why I have chosen to apply for the monks. Due to my experience on this server over the last 10 and a half months I believe Id make a great addition to the team, as well as being able to do the monks job in the Australian hours that few people are on, and generally no monks are to be seen.

IC reasons your character wishes to be a monk:

After a near death experience in which Owl was shot in several places around his body including his forehead with a crossbow and had to be resurrected by the Wilven Monks himself, Owl made the decision to spend the rest of his days helping those around him, under the belief that he had spent far too much time in his life doing things for himself. He packed his essential belongings, and set off traveling around Asulon, helping out those around him where he saw he could be of use. As he aged, Owl began to find it harder to travel and decided that he didn't want to give up his way of life, but knew had to find somewhere to settle. After some thought, he remembered how the monks had healed and resurrected him so many times, and decided that they were the right order for him.

Do you agree to follow the server rules, and that of the monks?:

Indeed I do, I would not be applying if I didn't.

Knowledge of the Triumvirate (Including names, celestial bodies, a bit of backstory, etc.):

Owl has absolute minimal knowledge about the Celestial Triumvirate, though he is willing to learn and believe in them. But I believe this is more of an OOC question designed to test that applicants actually know what they are applying for, so none the less I shall do my best to answer as such. Keldrith is the lord of the sun, represented by a gold bar. He was the king of a kingdom called Celestiran, which stood where the city of Arethor does in modern Asulon. Rellenia is the lady of the moon, and is represented by a diamond. She was once the princess of a small city-state outside of Celestiran’s borders and was later wed to Keldrith. Tariel is the lord of the stars, represented by a gem of lapis lazuli. He was once a farmer from a small hamlet known as Flowershire and became a great friend of the other two. Together, the trio form the Celestial Triumvirate. In history, the three ventured around what is now known as Asulon, having many adventures and enjoying each others company. Eventually they came to a scorched wasteland where tragedy struck; the three of them were murdered. Not much is known as to how they were killed, other than that a farmer saw a bright flash of light in the direction of which they entered. The creator took pity on the three souls and decided to bind each of them to the item that now represents them. The stones stayed on the ground for many ages, and so twisted the wasteland around them into a paradise. Many years later, a family of three settled in the paradise and discovered the stones. Upon touching them, the spirits of Tariel, Keldrith, and Rellenia left their stones and flew into the sky, each going to the place that they are now the lord/lady/demigod of. From there, the spirits of the three became the deities of those who lived in the paradise, empowering those loyal to them to help others.

A large orc comes up to you clutching a battleaxe. He roars a curse, before shouting, "MI KLOMP LATZ!" Respond as your character.

Owl would do his best to calm the orc and convince him that violence was not necessary. If doing so with words was not successful, he would attempt to bribe the orc to leave the sanctuary with food or any shiny or valuable looking objects on him. As a final resort, Owl would attempt to trick the orc into leaving the sanctuary, and in the worst case that the orc could not be stopped at all he would attempt to retreat somewhere that he was safe rather than provoke any sort of violence.

A tall elf, glimmering in golden robes, steps up to you. He tsks lightly and asks, "Where are the monks?" Respond.

Owl would feel offended at first that the elf had not recognized that he himself was a monk, but knowing that arguing with the elf about this would bring no good, he would respond cheerfully with a smile on his face, “Why, I myself am I monk! Is there something you seek from a member of my order, friend?”.

A weary traveler comes to the temple. Meek and tired, sweat marking his brow as he speaks, and an immanense sadness within his words, "W-where am I.. And how do I get water .. Or food?." How do you respond?

Owl would respond with a worried look upon his face, “You do not so well my friend, how about you come sit down and I shall do my best to answer your questions”. He would then lead the traveler over to the seats by the fireplace in the temple’s centre, hand him a few slices of bread from his satchel, and the water canteen hanging at his side. After sitting with the man for a few moments, waiting to see in improvement in his health, Owl would begin to answer the mans questions, “You, my friend, have found yourself in the Wilven Sanctuary at the heart of Asulon. Do you remember anything from before you found yourself here?”. If the man replied that he did, Owl would simply nurse the man back to help as best he could, give him what supplies he could offer, and set him back on course. If the man seemed to not remember anything, Owl would continue, “Well, Im afraid I do not know who you are, how you ended up here, or where you are from, these are all questions you shall have to figure out yourself”. Owl would then advise the man to seek out work in a field he felt comfortable with in one of the major cities in Asulon, recommending a different city or town depending on what race the man was. If the man still seemed unfit to continue traveling, Owl would stay with him until he believe he was, doing his best to help him get his feet in the land of Asulon. He would then give the man what supplies he could spare and set him off in the direction of the town he had recommended.

Just a few things:

  • This does not make you a Monk, merely able to speak to the Head Monk Jaehaerys or someone who knows enough about the Order (i.e. Lucian), about joining.
  • You do not possess the robes simply because of that skin, it must be roleplayed out in-character.
  • Assure that when Jae or I assist you in joining that we tell your character the story of the Triumvirate, a minimum of emoting *tells the story.* is acceptable, considering you've clearly read it already.

Welcome.

Very well made application, as Escharian has said. I shall interview you in a role play fashion. If you so wish. You will need to speak to the head monk [Me]. About joining, I will then order you a set of robes from the seamstresses. This will take a good while, and the telling of the story might take near an OOC Hour. So you know

(;

Congratulations on passing the first stage of interview, once more. Owl!

MC Name: Melodystar

RP Name: Kathryn “Katie” Thornhand (Formerly Geminine)

Character Age: 17

Personality, i.e. tendencies, weaknesses, strengths, temptations, etc.:

Katie is normally a very happy and bubbly person. She has been known to have a bit of a smart mouth. Recently, Katie has been gripped by a very deep depression, after losing her husband and unborn child.

Strengths:

Brave - Kathryn has overcome, to a point, her fear she felt as a child and turned it into a bravery to fight for her friends and family.

Smart - Being extremely well-read, Kathryn has an opinion on most subjects, and holds a great knowledge in her mind. She enjoys speaking at length in Hansetian with her ‘mother’, Arabella, and reading any new book she can get her hands on.

Natural affinity for Redstone - Kathryn has been obsessed with redstone for as long as she can remember. Having never been taught about it, she’s managed to experiment and find ways to make a ‘noise machine’, flashing lights, and her latest achievement being dispenser research.

Love of Family - Kathryn has always felt her love of family has been a strength in her life. She knows they would do anything to protect her, and she would do the same.

Weaknesses:

Small Size - It’s been said that TNT comes in small packages. Kathryn is exceptionally short for her age. Standing only about five foot tall, she is unable to do some things that her taller family members can do.

Physical Strength - Being smaller, Kathryn only has so much physical strength. For her to use a sword, it has to be specially made to be smaller. The same with any armor she wears. For these reasons, she prefers to use a short bow.

Obsessively Smart- Being well-read and smart, Kathryn tends to overthink situations. If she becomes curious or obsessed with doing something, she will spend days pacing in a quiet room, pausing only to take notes or try a new idea. She will forget to eat, drink and sleep during these times if someone does not stop her and remind her.

Trusting - Through her life, Kathryn has been told she sees the good in people too easily, and thus trusts them too easily. In the past, this trust has gotten her nearly killed several times, twice involving family.

Allergies - When she’s not use to an environment, the local blooming plants can make Kathryn go into a sneezing fit. She is also allergic to apples, causing her throat to constrict, making it hard to breathe.

Brave - While Kathryn considers her new found bravery to be a strength, many others may consider it to be a weakness, as she may act without first thinking through her actions completely.

Sweets – Kathryn has always had a sweet tooth, enjoying both cake and cookies. Depending how much she eats of the sugary treats, she has been known to have an extreme sugar rush, almost like being drunk. At the moment, she has sworn off cake, but if tempted she may eat some.

OOC reasons you should be a monk:

I believe it is the natural progression of my character to become a monk, fully devoted to the Triumvirate. I do enjoy helping other players and look forward to the new RP.

IC reasons your character wishes to be a monk:

Katie spent most of her early life living in the Temple with Sahra. She left the temple when she was ten to live with her family. For the past seven years, Katie has continued to follow the Triumvirate, and now in her darkest hour, she hopes to turn to them for the comfort only deep devotion can bring.

Do you agree to follow the server rules, and that of the monks?:

Yes I do.

Knowledge of the Triumvirate (Including names, celestial bodies, a bit of backstory, etc.):

The Celestial Triumvirate is made up of three demi-gods. They are Keldrith, Rellenia and Tariel. Keldrith is the god of the Sun and is represented by gold. Rellenia is the goddess of the moon and is represented by a diamond. Tariel is the god of the stars and is represented by lapis.

It is told the three demi-gods were friends who traveled Asulon together, and eventually met their end together. The Creator took pity on the three, and bound each of their souls to an item; a bar of gold, a diamond and a gem of lapis. Many years later, the stones were discovered by a young girl and her family. They became the original monks of the sanctuary.

Over time, the monks lost their way, and eventually lost the sanctuary. It wasn’t until Wilven Adonan rediscovered the temple that the monks were re-founded and the Triumvirate returned to help those in need.

A large orc comes up to you clutching a battleaxe. He roars a curse, before shouting, "MI KLOMP LATZ!" Respond as your character.

Kathryn crosses her arms, looking up at the huge orc. “Latz klomp mi?” She says calmly, a small smirk coming across her face. “I’m sure your brothers would love to hear how you klomped a small woman for absolutely no reason. Very honorable. Now klomp me or go pick on someone your own size.”

A tall elf, glimmering in golden robes, steps up to you. He tsks lightly and asks, "Where are the monks?" Respond.

Looking up at the tall elf, Kathryn frowns. A fresh pang of grief strikes her heart as she speaks. “Well, have you tried at the Temple proper? They may be off in the monk quarters, or down in the library. I can show you there, if you’d like.”

A weary traveler comes to the temple. Meek and tired, sweat marking his brow as he speaks, and an immanence sadness within his words, "W-where am I.. And how do I get water .. Or food?." How do you respond?

After helping the man to sit, Kathryn hands him a small loaf of bread from her bag and a canteen of water. She watches as he eats and drinks, waiting for his attention to be back to her. “You’re in the Wilven Sanctuary. Have you no memory?” She would continue to talk to the man, explaining that he should rest until he feels strong enough, then set out to find a place to stay, depending on his race. She would then refill the canteen and give him another loaf of bread to help him on his way.

Skin: monk_zps9f497afa.png

Anything else: Kathryn has a one year old son that her husband’s daughter from a previous marriage is raising at the moment. In the future, he may come to live with Kathryn again, once she is more stable in her emotions.

RP Name:

Makayla

Character Age:

137

Personality, i.e. tendencies, weaknesses, strengths, temptations, etc.:

Weaknesses:

Short tempered: Makayla may be a sweet, nice girl, but she can easily be angered if you know how to.

Love for her sister: As they may have been broken up, she still cares for her in every way possible

Strengths:

Confidence: Makayla has alot of confidence and believes that when you really want something, you can do it.

Smart-i-ness: Makayla studies alot, and is pretty smart, thus likes to use intelligence over strength

OOC reasons you should be a monk:

I feel as there are barely any Monks around, whilst some people need them for their roleplay. The other reason is because the new players need a guidance as they probaply don't know where to go. And finally, I think that Monk roleplay just seems incredibly fun.

IC reasons your character wishes to be a monk:

Makayla has been around the Cloud Temple for a while now, and has always been this 'dumb' girl, until she started reading, reading and reading.

Thus the Dark Elven girl became smarter, spending most of her time around the library of the Cloud Temple. One day, she was once again looking through the books around the library when she found this book called 'Lord Keldrith of the Sun'. Makayla was interested in the book, although there was barely any information in it. She asked around, and was told that the Monks worship this god. As she became even more interested, she started looking for Monks, who she, sadly, couldn't find, until she came across one, Lucian to be exact. The pair talked for a bit when Makayla asked about the book. Lucian took her to the Temple, and started explaining about the Celestial Triumvirate. Makayla being really interested, she asked Lucian to become a Monk. Lucian agreed with it, and thus starts the story of Makayla the Monk...

Do you agree to follow the server rules, and that of the monks?:

Nope Of course

Knowledge of the Triumvirate (Including names, celestial bodies, a bit of backstory, etc.):

The Celestial Triumvirate consists of three gods, Lord Keldrith of the Sun, who is represented by gold, Lady Rellenia of the Moon, who is represented with a diamond, and Lord Tariel of the stars, who is represented by lapiz.

The three were great friends, roaming Asulon to find many adventures until they all died...horribly murdered. The Creator pitied them and put their souls in one of each's belongings, the ones said above. A man and woman came across the area were the three died and The Creator told them their story, telling them to build a temple in their honour. Which they did, and became the original Monks of the Sanctuary.

The Monks lost their old ways over the years and The Creator banished them from the temple, until a man came, Wilven Adonan, who restored the old ways of the Monks, and thus created the Wilven Sanctuary.

A large orc comes up to you clutching a battleaxe. He roars a curse, before shouting, "MI KLOMP LATZ!" Respond as your character.

"Nub need tu klomp mi, Uruk" she says with a calm voice, "LATZ IZ PUSHDUG! LATZ ZHUD BI FLAT!". Makayla starts to lose temper, but tries to stay calm and responds by slamming her staff on the ground "If latz is guin' tu cause truble, latz shud gu sumwhere else". "WHY ZHUD MI LISTUN TU MUUNK LATZ?!" the Orc says and roars out loudly. Makayla keeps quiet for a moment before speaking "Latz nub gruk? Nub klomp in the Cloud Temple". The Orc keeps slamming his axe on the ground "Nub! Latz iz 'tuupid!". Makayla notices the Orc kind off calming down, even though he still wants to 'klomp'. Makayla puts up a cheeky grin and tries something with the Orc "Why duus latz want tu klomp?" . "Mi wunt tu...mi wunt tu klomp cus'...mi furgot..." the Orc says stupidly. "Then why is latz still here?" "Mi nub know...mi iz guin' now...". The Uruk walks off and Makayla looks pleased at her deed, walking back to the Sanctuary, going back to where she left off.

A tall elf, glimmering in golden robes, steps up to you. He tsks lightly and asks, "Where are the monks?" Respond.

Makayla looks at her robes, then back at the Elf "Ahem...I am a Monk myself, Mali". The Elf looks at her clothing and chuckles "I'm sorry, just a little bit confused". Makayla chuckles with him "No no, it's alright. Now, why did you need a Monk?" she asks calmly, smiling at the Elf, awaiting his response.

A weary traveler comes to the temple. Meek and tired, sweat marking his brow as he speaks, and an immanense sadness within his words, "W-where am I.. And how do I get water .. Or food?." How do you respond?

Makayla walks up to the hungry, dried out man, hearing that he wants water and food "My my, let me get something for you". Makayla walks off to her room in the Temple, grabbing some food and water from her chest/food supply

Sorry for the OOC, but I don't know if there is a food supply within the Cloud Temple.

and quickly sprints back to the man. "Here you go, enjoy it" and gives the man the water and food, who happily starts eating it. "Don't let yourself die of hunger, keep yourself fed, alright?", the man responding with a nod as he keeps eating and drinking. Makayla once again feels satisfied as she did a good deed, she sits with the man and talk for a while.

RP Name:

Alice

Character Age:

14

Personality, i.e. tendencies, weaknesses, strengths, temptations, etc.:

Alice is curious. She has a love of learning about the world around her. She can spend hours poring through history books in the library, and even longer exploring the mountains surrounding the Cloud Temple. She loves being around nature. Alice is soft spoken and quiet most of the time. She has a lot to say on subjects she's very passionate about. She is very polite and well mannered. Because of her small halfling stature, she is very weak physically. She has no training with weapons. If she's ever caught in a brawl, she would run away rather than fight.

OOC reasons you should be a monk:

As Alice has been living with the monks for most of her life, I feel the only natural thing to do with her is make her a monk herself.

IC reasons your character wishes to be a monk:

Alice has been living with the monks ever since she was rescued by Raka. She has been taught about the Triumvirate and now wishes to dedicate her life to her cause.

Do you agree to follow the server rules, and that of the monks?:

Yes, sir.

Knowledge of the Triumvirate (Including names, celestial bodies, a bit of backstory, etc.):

Three gods make up the Celestial Triumvirate; Lord Keldrith of the Sun, Lady Rellenia of the Moon, and Prince Tariel of the Stars. The three were friends who traveled through Asulon, but they were murdered when they entered a wasteland. The creator bound their souls to gold, diamond, and lapis lazuli respectively.

For centuries afterward, the wasteland slowly turned into a paradise. A family then settled there and found the stones. The creator remembered the three, and instructed the family to build a temple in their honor. The monks of the Triumvirate were created. In time, the monks strayed from their original ways. The Triumvirate became angry, and banished the remaining monks. A traveler named Wilven Adonan rediscovered the Sanctuary. He restored the monks and their old ways, creating the Wilven Sanctuary monks.

A large orc comes up to you clutching a battleaxe. He roars a curse, before shouting, "MI KLOMP LATZ!" Respond as your character.

As Alice strolls through the Sanctuary, a large orc approaches her. Her first reaction is one of fear and starts to run towards the Temple. The orc catches up with her before she can go far. He grabs her robes and holds her neck against the message board. She screams and shouts, hoping to get the attention of a passerby. She gains a few worried looks, but no one is brave enough to fight off the orc. "Cume 'ere, lat snaak.." the orc mumbles as he brings his axe closer to her neck.

"R-Rrr.. No, please stop! I give you anything!" Alice chokes out. She tries to push the axe away by the blade, cutting her hand in the process. She notices a man with a sword approaching the orc from behind. He jams his swords into the orc's armor, barely making a dent. The orc releases his grip on Alice and turns. Alice takes the chance to run away as fast as she can towards the Sanctuary.

A tall elf, glimmering in golden robes, steps up to you. He tsks lightly and asks, "Where are the monks?" Respond.

Alice looks up at the elf, and mimics the proud way the elf holds himself. She responds in the same posh manner he asked the question, "Well sir, what might you need of them?"

A weary traveler comes to the temple. Meek and tired, sweat marking his brow as he speaks, and an immanense sadness within his words, "W-where am I.. And how do I get water .. Or food?." How do you respond?

Alice looks onto the man with pity and she gives him a roll from her bread basket. She sits next to him and says, "You are in Cloud Temple, sir. Please follow me, I will give you a room and full meal in the Sanctuary. Where you come from?" She makes small talk with the man while leading him to the Sanctuary.

RP Name: Zogtar’Lur

Character Age:46

Personality, i.e. tendencies, weaknesses, strengths, temptations, etc.:

Zogtar is an orc, raised in the War Uzg, he is violent and bloodthirsty. He, like most orcs, has a hatred for other races, believing them to be animals. He enjoys dominating them, impressing his superiority upon them. However, Zogtar has another side, he is a witchdoctor, dedicated to healing. He has long healed the wounds of orcs, Strigzgoi is too small for him, he grows tired of healing the same wounds, he wishes to learn more, he wants to heal more.

OOC reasons you should be a monk:

I wish to become a monk so I can interact with the server is a different way, and speak to people, without instantly being viewed with suspicion and hatred.

IC reasons your character wishes to be a monk:

Zogtar wishes to heal, he also wishes to force the weak into submission, thinks that if he rises to the head of the monks he will be able to use his power to force the other races into submission if they want to be healed from death.

Do you agree to follow the server rules, and that of the monks?:

I agree to the server rules and all the monks rules except:

5. my char is an orc, it would make no rp sense for him to abandon his sword for a staff

6(to some degree). my char is already a healer, he doesn’t use magic as, being orc, he thinks it evil, he uses alchemy and surgery, he is unable to resurrect people, or heal mortal wounds, but can heal minor –medium wounds.

8. my char is becoming a monk because he believes it will allow him to dominate the weak further. Whoever controls the key to immortality, rules the world. He believes that if he rises to the top of the monks, he will be able to use his power to force nations into submission, if they want to be healed when they die. However, Zogtar will act as a monk is expected to act, he doesn’t want the other monks to suspect his true intentions.

Knowledge of the Triumvirate (Including names, celestial bodies, a bit of backstory, etc.):

Lord Tariel of the Stars, Lady Rellenia of the Moon, Lord Keldrith of the Sun, the three demi-gods were friends who traveled Asulon together. They died togeather and the creator took pity on them. Bound their spirits to three different things, a diamond, a gold ingot, and a lapis stone. Years later, the items were discovered by a young girl and her family. They became the first monks.

A large orc comes up to you clutching a battleaxe. He roars a curse, before shouting, "MI KLOMP LATZ!" Respond as your character.

Zogtars roars back at him “DERE AM ARENA EN DE TROG, DU ID DERE”. The pair walk off to the arena in the Trog, Zogtar removes his robes, and putting his armour back on, he draws his sword and jumps down into the arena. He waits at one side for the Orc to be ready, when he is, being the high ranking orc, he calls the klomp, “GAHK, DUB, ASH, KLOMP FUR DE HONUR UV KRUG”, he charges, letting out a Lur war cry, his sword meets the other orcs, and thus the klomp begins.

A tall elf, glimmering in golden robes, steps up to you. He tsks lightly and asks, "Where are the monks?" Respond:

Zogtar looks at the elf and smiles, “hellow dere, me am munk, kan me ‘elp yoo?”. He listens to the elfs request, and helps him in any way he can.

A weary traveler comes to the temple. Meek and tired, sweat marking his brow as he speaks, and an immanense sadness within his words, "W-where am I.. And how do I get water .. Or food?." How do you respond?

Zogtar helps the traveller to a seat, he sets his witchdoctor bag on the floor and searches through it, he removes a few bottles containing brightly coloured liquids. He hands them to the traveller “’ere drink deeze” after the man has drunk them, he hands him a glass bottle of water and some food, “hab deeze, nuw, duz yoo hab houze, ur undur place yoo kan go?”. Zogtar nurtures the traveller back to full health and helps him home.

There are quite a few reasons for denial, but a primary one is that your character simply does not fit into the Monks. The title of 'Head Monk' was abolished, however there is still one who keeps control in-character, being Lucian, my character. He performs all initiations of the Monks, and I can tell you that he wouldn't take kindly to Zogtar. I am not metagaming here, I am inferring based on previous roleplay, and it would be useless to accept this when the in-character portion would be denied later on.

To continue, I will run through your app.

In the personality section: Monks are peaceful and generous, 'violent and bloodthirsty' would not work, nor domination and oppression. It is simply not how Monks operate.

In the reasons why: You have built your character to be viewed with suspicion. Being a Monk will not change this. Also, 'forcing the nations into submission' is a big no-no.

Rules: You are required to agree to the rules, they mandate how a Monk must operate. You would not be allowed on the server if you did not follow the server rules, why should you be allowed in a roleplay group?

Open Response Questions: These are poorly done, little detail is put in.

Skin: This ought to be a screenshot, some have been accepted without a screenshot I know, however this will not continue.

OOC reasons you should be a monk: I have been on LOTC for a long time, around the begining, but I stopped playing for about 5 months. When I joined, and now, my RP is quite slow as I am relatively new and my character is kind of hard to really engage in great RP. I think that by joining the Monks, it will not only help ME gain RP experience and have more fun, but I think I can set a good example for those who get stuck on this server just as I did; that there is always something for them to do and have fun with.

IC reasons your character wishes to be a monk: Greenwood is extremely fond of the world, history, and cultures of Asulon. He believes that by joining the Monks, he will be unlocked to the full library of what, exactly, the world has to show and teach him. Although his will to heal is not really the most profound, he is indeed happy to help any and all, but mostly he wishes to join for the benifit of his personal knowledge and understanding.

Brief Bio: Greenwood was origionally born in a small tribe on the outskirts of Asulon. In this tribe the boys are born with several dots on their heads, each dot represents a period in their life of great understanding. Once atleast half of the periods are completed, you must go to the forest, woods, desert, or taiga, and live there without food (but with water) for 1 week or until you are contacted by a spirit. Only then, you may be given a name. Origionally, my characters name was Young_Boy! Most boys were born with 2-3 dots, but my character was born with SIX dots! The tribe new he was destined for great acheivments and huge understanding! But... soon, his tribe perished by a horrible storm, but alas, Young Boy was saved by the Passive animals of the wilderness. After his life passes, he has completed 4 of 6 periods. As he goes to the forest, he is there and drink only the water of the stream he followed. On the last day of his journey, ready to give up, he steps out of the forrest. On looking the plains of existence. When "Ccchhkkkk CRASH" A tree lands on him, Crushing his left leg! The huge tree lands, covering his eyes in green, lush leaves. As he struggles to escape, is realises there is no pain. Inside the tree, lies his leg, resting in an owls hole, safe. Green for the leaves, so luch, wood for the tree, the mighty tree which gave him life. Completing his 5th periodic understanding. Alas, Greenwood, was born a second time.

Do you agree to follow the server rules, and that of the monks?: Yes, I feel that the rules of the Monks are mostly acceptable, with the exeption of rule #5. Although I intend to follow this rule, I believe that a monk is not necesarily entitled to magic (Staff) but some may train with the fist, Bo-Staff (stick), and sometimes even the sword (This is a IRL example, not a LOTC mechanic)

Knowledge of the Triumvirate (Including names, celestial bodies, a bit of backstory, etc.): The Celestial Triumvirate, as Keldrith, Rellenia, and Tariel came to be called, became deities in their own right, demigods of the sun, moon, and stars.

A large orc comes up to you clutching a battleaxe. He roars a curse, before shouting, "MI KLOMP LATZ!" Respond as your character.

Greenwood *bows

(Saying in a monotone sort:) "No! Please dont Klop me! I-I have nothing to offer, I am a humble monk, You have nothing to gain!" (with that respons, I would probably get klopped, but.. thats what my character would say :P)

A tall elf, glimmering in golden robes, steps up to you. He tsks lightly and asks, "Where are the monks?" Respond.

Greenwood *bows

"Why, I am right here! Of Course! How may I help such a Fine gentleman?"

A weary traveler comes to the temple. Meek and tired, sweat marking his brow as he speaks, and an immanense sadness within his words, "W-where am I.. And how do I get water .. Or food?." How do you respond?

Greenwood *bows

"You have made it to the Sanctuary, where you can be safe and properly treated." (I usually carry a ton of melons on me so I would give/help him eat one.)

"T-thank you..." he says as he eats his melons. "Water.. Please!"

Greenwood *escorts the poor, weary traveler to the water fountain infront of the temple.

(From here, he can drink the water, eat his melons, and sleep in the temple's guest rooms.)
