Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I do happen to have that.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am assistant director of my high school marching band. I participate in many school activities as well as game quite often, especially on Minecraft. I am a huge nerd when it comes to history, especially medieval history.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: About 20 hours a week (give or take a few). It depends on my duties at home.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is when someone changes their normal self to act as someone or something else to their up most ability, while enjoying themself at the same time.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have played many roleplaying games such as Runescape, World of Warcraft, and many others. I really enjoy roleplaying on minecraft servers. Particularly with a certain theme overall.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is when someone uses information they know in real life and unfairly uses it in their roleplaying to benefit themselves or others in some way.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Power-Emoting is when someone performs an act on another person in an unfair way that doesn't give them a chance to react. An example being if I just walked up to my friend and stabbed him in the chest to steal his armor and he had no idea what was coming.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server to be an amazing roleplaying experience for myself to play as my character and to meet friends along the way.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on more minor servers. Most of them being faction based and RP. I played on a greek god server, a medieval server, and an amazing Island RP server plus some others. I left most of them because they sort of fell apart and some lost the RP aspect.

Character Name: Callax

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): N/A

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

When Callax was born, he was born in a small camp and with no father. His father was an evil man who did many terrible things in his time, but had died soon before his son's birth. Many bad people would forever hunt Callax down until they killed him because of his father. However, Callax had a great destiny ahead of him, and there was a man who knew of this destiny, and knew that Callax would bring much greatness in his life. This man's name was Darius. When Callax was brought into the world, Darius kidnapped him and took him far away to a large tower house on an unknown island.

Darius acted as the boy's father and mentor. He taught him many things, such as reading, writing, fighting, and many other things. Callax had never known anything about his real father and his people, or even his last name. Darius kept it from him for his own safety. However, Darius knew the day would come when he would have to say goodbye to Callax and have him set sail for Asulon, for it was Callax's destiny to travel to the great lands and discover what his purpose was in the world. When that day had come, Darius told Callax that he loved him as his own son, but he had to leave and discover his true purpose in life. Callax was devastated to have to leave the life he had come to love, but he knew Darius had always been true to him, and respected what he told him. Darius gave Callax a compass he had crafted himself, and told him the compass would lead him to the lands of Asulon. Callax would always remember Darius and his last words to him, "Bye my son. I promise we will see each other again."

Callax left on a small sail boat at the age of 20. He was a tall, average built, bearded man with shaggy brown hair. He was on his way to the land of Asulon to start a new life and to do great things for the many people there. On his journeys he would discover new places, find his true self, and make a few good friends to have his back. Callax is destined for greatness, and that greatness will eventually show.

What are your Character's ambitions?: Callax wishes to discover his true destiny, and hopes to fulfill the hopes of his mentor, Darius.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Callax's favorite tool is the compass he was given by Darius. It is greatly important to him, for it is all he has to remember his mentor by.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Callax learned much from Darius, but he most greatly appreciated the knowledge he had taken in. His knowledge of the lands, the beasts, and life itself is most valuable to him.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Callax addresses the warriors, "Um, excuse me gentlemen, but I would think by the way you are dressed, that you are noble warriors of this land. I don't understand why such great men like you would abuse your title to pick on others smaller than you." Then Callax speaks to the halfling, "Come. I shall not harm you and I will be sure to get you where you're going." Then Callax leaves and travels off with the halfling.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Callax responds, "Hmm, how much do you want for a loaf of bread?"

"Sorry sir, but I do not offer bread here. You may try Lady Elaine across the road though!" says the man. And Callax thanks him for his help and speaks with the lady across the street.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Callax would leave it. He was taught by Darius to never take what was not rightfully his. Anyway, golden swords aren't very durable, he can surely do without.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "Excuse me, could you repeat that?" says Callax. The people speak again, but Callax still doesn't comprehend. They realize he doesn't understand, but hands him a small pouch filled with dirt. Callax accepts the gift and leaves, though he doesn't know what to do with a pouch of dirt.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Callax can fight well, but he doesn't have a weapon. He offers the guards his assistance, but requires a sword. They have some spares and give him a stone sword. Callax waits for the command and he helps run the bandits off.

Anything else you would like to say?: As a wondering soul, I have come to conclude that this server is pretty amazing. Thank you to whoever reads my application.

Other Comments:

First and foremost, your biography has lore that does not pertain to our server. Seeing as how Asulon is the only land that is inhabitable (other than Aegis), one does not simply "find" Asulon. It is like traveling to another world. Please remove the indication of moving to Asulon from an unnamed land.

Secondly, having a "special destiny" isn't allowed on the server. This is called powergaming, seeing as how you are putting yourself in a greater position. Please make you character less "powerful" and more realistic.

Then, your biography is lacking in any indication of lore knowledge. Please be advised, in order to join our server, some knowledge of lore must be presented to prove that you have understood and are accommodated to our server's adage. Please read the lore on the website, forums, and/or the wiki to take a glimpse of what our server has done for the past year. Then, implement some lore knowledge that is valid such as city names, nations, and large scale events. Also, please be advised that all lore that is /current/ must pertain to Asulon, not Aegis. Having your character being born from old cities is fine, but be aware that all current adventures your character will embark upon will be in Asulon.
