A Note Pinned To The Board

You come across a hastily tacked up note on the town notice board, although it is late evening as the sun sets it final rays on the world you can faintly make out the small and almost illegibly written note. Suddenly a group of ravens all call at the same time, slightly surprised but by no means scared you begin to read the small note:

I Kalenz Uradir will be staying out of town for an elven week or so, after which I will return.

After this the paper is torn; directly below the last line of the note. It seems as if something additional such as a reason for his departure was written below, but Kalenz decided to cut it off.
