The Chronicle of Tealsphar

Tealsphar was born in the legendary land of elves

that Lorican came from, the land of Detronoe. Tealsphar was born

into a humble family that lived in the tree village of Rutinoe.

His dad Calsphar was a famous artist in the village and he was

loved by many villagers. Tealsphar's mother Wecsomia was a

priestess of the Patron god of Rutinoe Earweius and led

villagers in prayers and ceremonies at the grand shrine.

Tealsphar had a brother named Zelphar and he was the best of friends with im growing up. Tealsphar and Zelphar were always together, and they enjoyed eachother's company. But when Tealsphar was the age of 7 one day he was sick so his mother Wecsomia decided to keep him home from the Temple of Knowledge where all Detrononian Children went to learn. Later on that day Wecsomia and Calsphar received word that Zelphar had killed another child with his bare fists and had escaped the scene.

The Rutinoe gaurd arrived at the Autumnfire home in order to get some information on where Zelphar may have went. Tealsphar's parents were devastated, they asked what would happen if Zelphar were to be caught and the gaurd said that because of his age and the circumstance, Zelphar would of been put in meditation for a month at the Temple of Reflection in Rutinoe. Tealsphar was in a flurry of emotions , sadness, anger, regret for staying home, regret for being sick. Tealsphar felt devastated that Zelphar might of thought that he would be executed so that's why he ran when the truth was that he would only be sentenced to a month of meditation due to the circumstance and because of his young age.

Tealsphar's Parents demanded that the Rutinoe gaurd send a search party to look for Zelphar, the search party searched for a full month and came back pronouncing Zelphar Autumnfire dead. Tealsphar lost sleep over this, remembering all of the good times he had with his brother in the short time he's been alive. Every night Tealsphar would have conversations in his mind with an imaginary version of his brother to keep him from completely losing grip of him.

Tealsphar's parents didn't notice this since it was imaginary but slowly it was apparent that Tealsphar was losing grip on reality.

At age 9 Tealsphar started to scare his still grief stricken parents when he made a ragged stuffed doll that vaguely resembled Zelphar and put it in his room. Tealsphar would carry this doll around and talk to it as if it was really his brother.

But sometimes Tealsphar would get snapped back into reality and start to cry knowing that Zelphar was really dead. Calsphar and Wecsomia decided that something had to be done.

On a breezy fall night outside of Rutinoe Calsphar and Wecsomia Brought Tealsphar to Zelphar's Tombstone in the Autumnfire Cemetary and told Tealsphar that Zelphar has moved on, but will always watch over you and wants you to move on. Tealsphar was an articulate young boy and knew what his parents were getting at, they were ashamed of his actions but Tealsphar saw it as his utter love for Zelphar in the physical. Tealsphar left the doll near Zelphar's Tombstone and chose to stop showing his yearning for Zelphar to come back, but instead he would keep it all inside.

This caused Tealsphar to cry himself to sleep almost every night remembering his brother, and the only things that really made Tealsphar happy were seeing Zelphar's old belongings such as Knowledge tablets, Works of writing, drawings, toys, and clothes. When Tealsphar turned 15 he realized that his whole childhood went by with just him constantly grieving over his brother and wishing for Zelphar to come back.

Tealsphar was horrified at the thought of this so he decided to make something of himself, to prove to himself and to his parents that he wouldn't be a waste. The probelm was ...that Tealsphar wasn't very much good at anything. When he asked his father what he could possibly do to be successful his father simply said that his art and Wecsomia's work at the grand shrine keeps the family in good fortune and that Tealsphar was too young to start thinking like that.

With Calsphar's fame of being an artist Tealsphar was sucked into it also and was always expected to be presentable at the many gatherings that Calsphar held at the Autumnfire house. The only escape from this life of constant public exposure was lifting weights, Tealsphar started lifting weights at the age of 16, his motivation was to become bigger and stronger to mask the pain of his brother's death.

As Tealsphar became stronger, he also grew older, by the time Tealsphar was 24 his parents urged him to leave the house to start his own life. His parents gave him a large sum of Salers (Detrononian Currency) and sent him off. The first thing that Tealsphar did was go to the Autumnfire Family Cemetary outside of Rutinoe and build a marble Mausoleum to Zelphar in place of his tombstone. This mausoleum took 10 years out of Tealsphar's life and during this time Tealsphar isolated himself from society, living outside of Rutinoe in a shack in the cemetary.

Tealsphar was now a 34 year old Detrononian elf...still young for an elf. Tealsphar then finally returned from isolation to meet his father again. When Tealsphar arrived home he was greeted by an elf named "Aedan". Aedan asked why Tealsphar was there and Tealsphar described to him that his father Calsphar and his mother Wecsomia lived there.

Aedan informed Tealsphar that Calsphar and Wecsomia moved to the Noble Disrict of Rutinoe in a large elegant manor gained from the fortunes Calsphar earned in his art work. Tealsphar instantly travelled to the manor but was not accepted by the house gaurds for they informed him that Calsphar specifically advised to not let Tealsphar into the manor for he was ashamed of him.

This devastated Tealsphar and at the same time embarassed him greatly. Tealsphar was a shame to his parents. Tealsphar walked around the city a bit and then he stumbled upon a museaum dedicated to Calsphar's art. The museaum was called "The Calsphar Autumnfire Art Museaum."

Tealsphar explored the museaum marvelling at all of the art work, until he came across a painting of two young elves that resembled himself and his brother Zelphar in the center of a lake in a sea of fog standing on the water. Under the painting a caption said "One in the afterlife, and one lost forever." Tealsphar broke into tears at the sight of this and shouted "I AM NOT LOST!" For causing a disturbance in the museaum the gaurds escorted him out and threw him out into the rain.

Cold...broken...no direction, no hope, ashamed. Tealsphar turned to a darker path. Tealsphar made a makeshift home in the slums of the nearby Detrononian city state of Frotanoe. Here Tealsphar slowly amassed a group of pickpockets, cutthroats , and mercenaries creating his own criminal gang, this gang was called "The Eternal Mourning". For 18 years Tealsphar and this gang committed petty crimes in the slums of Frotanoe slowly gaining Salers and eventually becoming a well organized criminal organization.

Tealsphar was now 52 years of age and in charge of the biggest criminal organization in the slums of Frotanoe. But the lonliness still crept into...Tealsphar's soul. No matter how many people he had intimate relationships with or no matter how many fellow Eternal Mourners he bonded with...he still felt empty inside. He still loved his brother and wished to be with him again.

When Tealsphar was 54 years of age he started to aim for bigger targets. Tealsphar started to get the word around that his organization dealt with assassinations. An assassination job came in from a strange hooded man that called himself "Alidus". Tealsphar was offered 2000 salers to assassinate a fisherman who was the wealthiest man in Frotanoe. The only cache was that he wasn't given the name of this man. None of Tealsphar's fellow gang members were confident enough to take the hit for this man's estate was armed to the teeth with gaurds. Tealsphar's greed overcame him and he accepted to take the hit into his own hands.

Tealsphar travelled all the way to the upper districts of Frotanoe where he approached the Wealthy Fisherman's epic estate. As Tealsphar looked up towards the balcony of the estate he saw the wealthy fisherman on the ledge about to commit suicide. Tealsphar took out his bow and hid in the shadows cocking an arrow into the bow and aiming for the Fisherman's head. Just as Tealsphar was about to fire the arrow a strange man walked up to him from behind, turned him around, and picked him up by his throat with great force. Tealsphar was forced to stare into the being's face, it was wearing a terrifying mask that resembled a lion's face and it had dark holes in the eyes spots of the mask.

This being whispered with a terrifying deep voice to Tealsphar "The Reaper's justice." Then the being punched Tealsphar in the head once knocking him out. Tealsphar then awoke in the coastal Detrononian city state of Lelinus on a beach. The beach was full of frolicing Detrononian elves and Tealsphar was lost, his belongings still intact though. Tealsphar wandered aimlessly through the city of Lelinus marvelling at the strange mushroom tree home architecture. As Tealsphar wandered through the city he realized that Detronoe wasn't the place for him.

So Tealsphar started work as a small time shipwright, building ships, while training his axe fighting skills with a fellow shipwright named "Elidon" in between shifts. Tealsphar finally raised enough Salers to buy his own ship after 10 years of working as a shipwright.

Tealsphar was 64 years old when he finally set sail away from Detronoe in search of a new land. After 4 days of sailing, something strange happened... A giant beam of pulsating green light sorrounded him in the middle of the sea and a voice echoed "Troubled soul...you will be one of my domain now." Then Tealsphar was instantly rushed through this beam of green light through the stars and then finally ended up in a grassy plain. This was Erinn...where Tealsphar would spend his days from now on.

Tealsphar ready to start anew even though his love for his brother Zelphar will never truly die.

Tealsphar is now 64
