(note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Merchant? Thief? Lord? Who cares, all of these are just titles placed on people by other people who desire a bit of order in the world. Locke never liked titles, but he did know one thing, someone without a title is no-one, and being a no-one is exactly what Locke loved. Mainly making a living of selling on the streets, Locke never strived to be known, all he knew is that with fame brought misery and cheats who would only be your friends because you where rich. No, none of this would be Locke, and from this is why Locke is often seen to be just a no-one.. selling his wares in the streets.. exactly the way he plans it to be. Locke, around 5ft 11, built more like a athlete, with a scruffy face and stubble, he blends in as a common citizen.. his accent that of the common tongue, and a personality which varies from welcoming to quiet and brooding. Never the one to pass up a opportunity, but at the same tactful and cunning.. Locke is relativity unknown, and this is the advantage to which he plays.. in hope it can benefit his more darker acts. What are your Character's ambitions?: Ambitions of Locke are simple. To survive. Being a street urchin for most of his life, and not really knowing his parents, survival has always been number one after seeing other urchins being murdered because of some Lords Fetish or dying of starvation.. Locke will do anything to survive, even if does mean others suffer. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): The Workbench and Furnace. What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Ingenuity and unique thought to getting problems solved. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format, if you do not know how to acquire one, copy and paste this link into your browser: ( http://tinyurl.com/Lotcscreenshot ): Other Information about your Character: He is an orphan He values his friends May be a bit moody at times.. Open-Response-Questions Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP. Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Looking at the halfling Locke knew how common this was.. and getting involved was probably not the best of ideas. Even in the streets, getting involved or taking sides was never a good option.. even by winning, the losers could always come back, hunt you down, and slit your throat while you slept at night. He couldn't afford the heat on him, he already had come so far and did not want to add further peering eyes in to his already heated lifestyle with the law. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Locke smiles at the man, replying 'I'm just browsing for now..'. He knew these stalls had a lot of quality goods, but others where a bit less than righteous.. right now he wondered, why would a man of such high standards only have this small stall and not a store? He can afford these nice clothes, but at the same time can only afford a small stall? Something wasn't right.. Locke knew it.. but he had no business to delve deeper into this so call 'merchants' lifestyle.. well, at least not yet. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Opening the chest, Locke was amazed at what he saw.. a golden sword. Underneath where a few iron bars, this puzzled Locke a bit, why would someone leave such a sword in the middle of nowhere? The hut, even though looking abandoned, must of had someone in it recently, no one would of abandoned such expensive items as a golden sword out here.. Closing the chest, he looks around, something was living here, maybe a thief on the run and using this as a drop off point for a fence.. either way, it wasn't Locke's game.. he knew what happened to thieves who double-crossed others.. he had seen the heads on spikes before. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Smiling, and thankful, Locke walks into the camp.. knowing that these trading camps ran on one thing, and one thing only.. money. He had none, but that never stopped him.. these trading camps always had a cook who cooked a bit too much, or a hunter who bought in too much meat from the surroundings... the challenge now was to find these people and see if they would be charitable enough to spare some food for Locke.. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Bandits and Guards.. once again, Locke was thrust into choosing a side.. and once again, he chose neither. Both sides where as bad as each other.. the only difference being the guards could do it legally. Locke carried on, this wasn't worth his time.. or the money.. he couldn't assure himself he would come back alive or the guards would simply dispose of him afterwards and merely say he died 'fighting' when in reality, having his throat slit in order to not being paid. Anything else you would like to say?: Locke is somewhat paranoid.
