Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: My name is Marcel and I live in the near of Frankfurt/Main. I started playing Minecraft several months ago. I’m a student of mechatronics and like driving motocycle.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: about 20 hours, depending on my mood.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying is stepping into the shoes of any character of your choice. It is taking on its feelings and emotions and manipulating that to give a fun experience to not just yourself, but others. If you are a rather jolly individual, and you roleplay someone who appears to be an opposite of you, this would be roleplaying. This character could vary from a peasant to a lord, they could be jolly, or they could be emotionally withdrawn; The possibilities in roleplay are literally endless and it's fun to get a grips with a character and really bond as one.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Not that much. I’ve been playing some WoW and similar games. But I realized already that those games are not really tough RP

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming Is simply when a player refers to having your character act on knowledge they do not have. For example looking up a character in forum if someone is a villain or not.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Using emotes that prevent others from reacting in a proper way to it.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect a new experience of playing minecraft. I hope to find a well thought concept on this server where long-term motivation is given.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: As mentioned above there was no long-term motivation because of missing concept of the different servers.

Character Name: Earl

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Earl, a very corpulent, clumsy but adorable human saw the light of day for the first time 50 years ago. Born in a modest family of farmers Earl spent most of his life on the little farm of his parents located in the human kingdom, some miles away from Arethor to make ends meet. He was just a decent farmer and he never worked much - Fishing and eating are rather his nature. Earl is a very relaxed person who would never harm anyone (except animals he can take as food) and he is a person people could speak with.

Earl was never in need of luxury, the only things he always needed were his free time after work, a roof above his head and...food! Earl is a rather fat person, so he did not attract many women in his life, and the one’s he attracted were gone after some time due to his laziness.

When his parents naturally died in the age of 70 and 71 he then owned the small house and lived in it ‘till an event occured which changed his life:

It was a normal day so far and Earl could not sleep so he lit a candle for light in his home. After a while without sleep he decided to go out fishing in the little sea next to his house. While being lost in thoughts, sitting on his boat, concentrated on catching a fish, he saw a little fire burning in far distance from the direction he came from. He enjoyed the little fire which was growing bigger and bigger in the night sky. Lighting up a pipe made him remembering of the candle in his house. Realizing that the burning fire could came from his house Earl panically peddled back to the land but arrived too late...his home was nearly burned to the ground. Due to the help of some other villagers he could stop the fire from burning down everything.

The next day Earl sold his land, took the things he could save and left everything behind to start a new life in the human kingdom.

What are your Character's ambitions?: Earl wants to own a little fisherman hut and have an unstressed life till his end.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Fishing rod

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Fishing

Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Earl will approximate to this happening. While focusing on the two warriors he missed the rock laying right on his way. So he stumbles and falls over it. Because of his swearing while landing on the ground he gets the attention of all three of them. The warriors instantly start laughing and the halfling fully loses his hope of help. Crestfallen by himself he stands up and turns back to leave this helpless halfling by himself.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

He stops walking and turns around to face the merchant. “Hello sir, I don’t kno...” - The merchant starts terribly laughing - “Sir, I guess you have some cake in your mustache.” Earl licks the cream out of his hairy face and starts asking for some food. The merchant answers amused “Sure I have some bread for you.” ”Ok, I will take some. Do you also have a fishing rod?” ”Oh, you’re lucky, there is just one left.” After handing the money to the merchant he noticed, that he has not enough space left to carry all this stuff. He tries to negotiate with the salesman to redeem at least the bow but the merchant refuses.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Earl is not a bad guy, but a glutton. So he is hungry all the time searching for food. For him this hut looks really abandoned. As he realized that there is no food stored at this place he leaves it without taking anything out.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Earl ,obviously exhausted, says to the merchants “You must help me please! I need some food right now. I’m really starving”. “What can you offer us?!” says one of the merchants. Earl immediately replies “I could offer you a fishing rod, unfortunately I haven’t found any water to catch some fishes!”

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

The only thing Earl can offer is some food carrying in his backpack. Due to his lack of skills in fighting he only could pull up the bandits with his fishing rod.

Anything else you would like to say?: No, I(he) am(is) too lazy ;)
