Perhaps make magic different for each race except for some kind of generic magic such as fireballs , healing spells , and the kind of magic you see in any other rpg. But perhaps make some race specific magic that would mainly consist of buffs.

Since orcs are " the dominant warrior/nomad " race make spells that would allow them to move faster and hunt their prey with incredible ease. make a spell that temporarily increases skills sword/axe/unarmed etc.

Elves are " druidic " when i think of druids i picture healers and animal lovers. perhaps give elves a race specific healing spell or make buffs that temporarily increase taming. Since elves love trees maybe make it where elves can jump higher on wood and leaves , or maybe around trees.( maybe 2 blocks ) so they can escape in the treetops

Humans are the balance of the races. a little of everything. so do just that give humans a small version of the other races spells. ( not as effective however )

Dwarves are legendary miners and warriors. perhaps give dwarves a spell that can critically craft items. ( 1 stick and 2 iron to make a sword can critically be crafted to make 2 swords. or give you back 1 iron. something along those lines ) or perhaps give dwarves a spell that temporarily makes ores glow in the dark ( not by much, maybe as bright as mushrooms ) so dwarves have that edge in mining.
