Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a rather experienced Minecraft player that does not grief. I may be called a nerd due to my habits (reading, Writing, and Roleplaying). I play fair and greatly dislike those that do not follow the rules.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Approximately 4-5 hours during the school year and about double during summer holidays.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is when you play as a fictional character that you or someone else has assigned to you in a game.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have had a fair bit of experience in roleplaying on minecraft servers where I have had to fill many roles. (Blacksmith, bandit, priest, and City defender.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is usually used to define In LOTC the act of using information from OOC chat to better yourself In game

Player X gets attacked by bandits and then calls over his friend Player Z to come help when logically Player Z would not know about that happening IC as he is across the map)

(Player X learns from OOC chat that his friend is going to attack Player X's Fort with some bandits

Roleplaying is when you are taking on a certain character at anytime be it in a game or real life an RPG on the other hand is when you are thrust into a game world where you have to act as a pre defined character and not deviate from it at all.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server to be a rather nice community that will be rather enjoyable to be around.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on a sky block server before however it just wasn’t as I thought it would be I thought it would be a How you wish to play server however I was banned for taking on a role (Cook) in the small group that I had.

Character Name: My name is Branoran Von Drakenburg

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : I am a Human however I am not as arrogant as the rest of my race.

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): I have no sub-race to call my brothers.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

I was born in the city of Solace about 23 and a half seeds ago and during that time my family fell into poverty. In the years after I learned how to hunt with my father, First with a sword and then with a bow,

I soon learned that I was better with a bow then a sword and when I was 15 I left to seek further instruction.

It took me a couple weeks to wander to the nearest instructor and during that time i learned from a hermit about what plants are medicinal and how to mix them to get the best effects out of them.

I was however turned away from the instructor that I went to as he said that: “I will not teach you, you do not come from the army or the royal family get out of my sight gutter trash or I will call the guards.” At that he struck me across the face and I felt my blood trickle down to my chin.

With my dreams crushed I headed home…

During the weeks that it took to get home I had a rather nasty run in with some overly large arachnids and have been afraid of them ever since (spider venom and immobility is not a good combo.)

Upon returning home I find that my mother has died and my father is near death.

I hurry and gather some of the medicinal herbs that were growing near our hut and mix them in a bottle for my father to keep him alive until we can get to a healer. We made it to the city and to the nearest church as I brought him in the priest came rushing over to see what was wrong while my father told the priest his symptoms I looked in a nearby mirror. What I saw was this: a 6'2 young man who as well as being an introvert, was not the best looking I had a small scar below my mouth, and I had eyes that looked like they belonged to someone who had seen too much of life. I stopped examining myself in the mirror to hear “you should make a full recovery sir.” from behind me and as I was turning around I also heard the price… 120 Minas! Too much to afford at once so I had to take some small odd jobs here and there to get by, For instance at the age of 19 I had to turn to banditry to try and get enough money however I was disgusted by it so by the age of 21 I had started to work for the southroners to try and raise money however I would soon regret that as they were not exactly for lack of a better word “kind” However while is was there I met an old hunter that trained me to use the bow even better than before and I soon came to look up to that hunter while I was staying there to work for those southroners. Eventually he left however before he did he came to see me at the plantation that I worked at and there he left me a Journal of his from it I learned even more refined techniques for using a bow. I never saw him again after that.

I was promised 10 Minas for every 64 sugar cane however I would usually only get half so I have a bit of a grudge against the southron race as a whole but I eventually made enough to pay for the treatment. When I returned I was told by the priest that he was grateful that I came through with the promise that I would deliver the money for my father’s treatment there at the church and that because of that he would be teaching me how to read and write! After about 6 seeds I was told that I would not be needing anymore instruction and that I can go out and forge my destiny. Now I am starting my life and adventure with the promise that I will never turn to illegal means to support myself and as such I wear the mask that I wore during my time as a bandit to remind myself of that and what I will never do again.

What are your Character's ambitions?: My ambitions are to just survive and scrape together enough to eat for now however I hope to eventually retire to a small chicken farm just outside the city of Solace and to learn how to not be socially awkward

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): My favourite tool is a bow as I was taught from an early age about it’s use.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Archery is perhaps his most skilled talent due to the fact that he learned from a young age how to wield a bow and the training he had from the old hunter

My character is a moderately advanced brewer of medications and salves that can help heal common aliments and sicknesses.

He prefers to fight fairly

Is a good shot with a bow but still can miss

Does not do well with a sword

Is not as arrogant as the rest of his race

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

I go up to the bandits and say: “ What if you get caught doing this? You might need something to keep your strength up wile fending off guards if you want I will give you this medicine to help keep your energy up.” As the bandits agree I slip them the medication that will actually put the bandits to sleep in a few moments. While the bandits are asleep I pass the Halfling his possessions that the bandits stole and I escort him to his next destination to be sure that now more troubles befall the Halfling

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Me: “good day to you too sir! Hope your business is going well, By any chance do you know where I might get some work around here? I would buy something however my coin has dried up.”

Merchant: “Why indeed I do! Indeed I do! The town guards are in need of assistance with clearing out some local bandits!”

Me: “Interesting…. Where can I find the Captain of the guard?”

Merchant: “Why last I saw him he was over at the fountain in the center of town.”

Me: Many thanks dear sir! I will most likely return later if I survive!

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: “ok check the area make sure no one is near…. (Enters Abandoned Hut) Now where was that chest? Ah Here it is… (viewing the contents of the chest) Hmmmmmm Iron is least likely to be missed however I am a bit short on Minas and the sword would go for a higher price than all of the iron… (takes Golden Sword) (Golden Sword starts to glow)

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

“hello dear sirs I am rather hungry and have only this golden sword for trade what might it get me in pork?” Camp member: about 2 stones weight.(when finished eating) Thank you very much! If I may could I seek employment here as a guard for your camp for a while?” the leader replies: ”no sorry as we were just packing up to head to the city however if you wish to tag along you may”

“Many Thanks I might just take you up on that offer!”

(Group departs for the city)

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Me: “….Interesting anything else?”

Captain of guard: Yes in fact we have located their camp let me show you on your map.

(Points out location of bandit camp)

Me: “Thanks I will see if I can help”

(Sneaks out of town in the middle of the night)

Me: *psst* guys over here I know where there are unguarded towns to pillage…

Bandit leader: Show yourself!

Me: Stop shouting else the guards will fall upon us.

(at this the bandits look uneasy and beckon for me to follow)

( In their camp)

Me: Look I know of some unguarded southroner towns in the nearby desert and I have heard that their treasuries are quite full.

Bandit Leader: Sounds like the could use with someone reliving a bit of that “burdensome” Wealth *snickers*

Me: Exactly now if you move in the morning the town guard wouldn’t expect that and then you would also not have to worry about creepers and such troubling you while you move.

Bandit leader: Thanks for the info. Here keep quiet about this will ya? (Bandit leader hands me 450 Minas)

Me: Wouldn’t dream of ratting you out….

(Sneaks into town before morning)

Captain of guard: So any news?

Me: Yes dear sir! They plan to move this morning if you attack now they will be distracted and you will have an advantage!

Captain of guard: Excellent! I can only wonder at how you found out! Here is the reward as promised! (Captain of guard hand me 1560 Minas)
