The Hunt

The Hunt is a time when the Lagapo competes over who is the best hunter. They gather into a circle, and gather their weapons of choice and set out on a hunt. The hunters hunt for days and nights, and hunt all they can until the horn sounds which calls them all home

The hunters do not quarrel in these hunts, and if two hunters dispute a kill, they do not take it to avoid breaking bonds of brotherhood. The hunt is sacred to the Lagapo, and those who would seek to ruin I risk the wrath of a full tribe sitting in their home environment hunting the trespassers

After the horn sounds calling the members back, the Hunt is far from over. Each member selects their biggest kill to boast with, and await the Chieften's decision about who's kill was the best. It is traded on size, cleanness of the kill, and what kind of animal the hunter has killed

After the best hunter is selected, he is brought before the fire, and given the Hunter's Spear.

The Hunter's Spear is a relic of the Tribe, and entire battles have been raged over it be stolen and was kept safe by the tribe. The Hunter who was awarded with it is the Head Hunter and only takes the spear when he leads hunts.

After the Spear is gifted, the animals will have been cooked and a feast may begin, and if the time is right, a Great Feast is held.

The event is an Elven Day long and ends with stories of Hunts and Battles the eldest and bravest of warriors tell, all around a giant fireplace

Any extra meat and food is stored for later times in case of famine or more food is needed

The Great Feast

The Great Feast is a time of rejoicing. It usually happens after a glorious battle or an eventful occasions. On occasion of Great Hunt, a Great Feast shall be held, but more is required, such as a newborn or a new member found. Something worthy or marking

Members stuff themselves, and then tell jokes or stories together around small fires of a great one if they want. It is a very fun and casual time, and sometimes spans a few Elven Days, but usually only one

Award and gifts are usually given and the tribals are praised for their works in more than jut battle, but usually in things like battle and hunts the most awards and praise are given

Still to be finished []

Tribe?

Yup. Think Pygmys. Been confirmed in RP and OOC so I figured why not make a post so it's easier to track members and such. We've been honorary orcs since before Salvus fell

Ah, so you aren't biological Orcs, but inductees to the War Uzg? Very good, that explains the tribe designation.

It's part of the Orc Horde theme we are testing. It's pretty interesting I think. More cultures coexisting
