Orks and stealth/sneak

My Goblin named Rab'Grinsh Was supposed to be a real goblin, Being the gritty little creatures that lure in forests and dark caverns. He would like to be one of these special ops scouts. And i believe he could do a great job.

I think most people are confusing orcs. Not all orcs are huge clunky fat slow beasts. A orc is basically just the perfect physical conditioned being. A perfect hunter, a perfect killer, a humanoid made to kill, and cursed with the need to kill. When you see a orc, it does not automatically mean they are 8 foot tall and 500 pounds. A lot of orcs would make supreme masters of stealth due to their excellent knowledge with nature and such. To kill there prey unseen. Just my view on things at least.

This is why I am looking forward to the possible sub-race of "Ogres" so that we can distinguish regular orcs from huge behemoth orcs.

Orcs using stealth consist of

- Hunters who are trained to fight prey 8x their size, must use deceptive or tricks to defeat their foe, which can translate to stealth in 1v1 combat (hiding in bushes or dunes firing arrows at their foes as they ambush)

- Shamans who augment their fighting style with agility/dodging boosts, for example my character fights against lesser spirits of hunt to strengthen his sense of hunting and his ability to dodge and evade.

The main problem is that brute force Orcs should still exist but with the current way the skills are set up, PvP is kinda bonked until stealth is made into something which doesn't benefit direct PvP (perhaps even hurts it, buff when fighting indirectly like ambushes, but take penalties for rushing face-first into battle) or until another skill pops up like a Strength skill which gives similar bonuses but aims to give something to meat-head characters.

If anyone doesn't lump into the first or second category then they should not be using stealth and you can go yell at them. However, avoiding fights and generally complaining to Orcs isn't much of a solution, rather one should probably talk to Vaq about fixing stealth so it doesn't give a blatant PvP buff no matter the circumstance, or asking him to add another skill to counterbalance it.

Well what about Goblins? Can't they use stealth and not be a hunter?

I'm referring to the current "Orcs", goblins are fine, though it still probably makes Orcs rage how a small goblin will be kicking their ass in PvP because of the Stealth skill.

Basically working with the current (although silly) sub-races, "Shaman" orcs, or the more stealthy types, are the type of Orc with stealth, whether they be shamans, or use their intelligence for hunting.
