Komodo 140 Share Posted August 25, 2012 Ello there me fellow Halflings! Just wanted to say hello, and give up an idea which came to me but a few moments ago. So on with it eh? Now, you may not have seen me in the Vale before, and that is because I have never been! Once I visited as a rough ranger, a man of August Flay, but that was rather brief. A few topics back I mentioned that I shall be joining the halfling community soon, though I was delayed. I am currently having a skin drawn up, and soon I shall arrive in the Vale! Now, finally, on to my idea. This December, a movie shall be released in theaters. It is set in one of my favorite worlds, directed by one of my favorite directors, and based on one of my favorite books. It is, of course, The Hobbit. Now, my new character will be somewhat similar to Bilbo once I arrive at the Vale. However, he is to be rather odd... Bilbo after he journey mind you. I hope to tell some good tall tales about goblins, dwarves, elfs, and other odd creatures which we halflings know so little about. But sometimes, these stories can get out of hand. I believe in the heart of every halfling is a fire. Something which is inherited by our hardy dwarven, and adventurous human ancestors. Quite like our young Mr. Baggins of course! Because of this, I thought it would be interesting if some how, a few halflings were drawn into an adventure. Perhaps nothing too big, but definitely interesting. It would be scripted, led my a certain character that would be the story progressing. Mods would select excellent roleplayers to play roles in the adventure. Perhaps the party shall meet a pack of angry wolves, or several fair elves. The whole story would be up to the writers, and some those who join the "quest" would have to rather uncertain, perhaps even afraid of what may happen. Let me know what you think! Dalek348 1962 Share Posted August 25, 2012 Yeah, we do quite like going on adventures. Even though we are wary of the danger and the possibility of getting in a right old pickle, the thought of going out of the Vale and meeting kind fellows and seeing the wonders of the world is quite enticing. What's more is these quests are player made and always conform to RP and are made by RP. Nowhere else on this server will you find as good, funny, or enjoyable quests as those you find in the Vale. Now, as Kaz is going to start making regular trips to the Vale in order to convert you all to the Brathmordakin, you Halflings are his newest hobby, I would love to help as well.
