Djinne 32 Share Posted September 2, 2012 *Djinne approaches one of the not yet torn down posters, and his eyes darken, as a slight rage simmers inside of him. He reads the words: Knight Commander' in a Crimson Bandana. *Djinne stands up, now looking down, and adresses only himself, muttering: I suppose this is the same one who helped orcs enslave me, and drew a sword on a man for telling me to leave his shop. *Djinne chuckles, and murmurs once more. "I will find this man, and I will use his own cruel, corrupt system upon him." *Djinne turns, his cloak fluttering in the wind as he stalks away, hood shrouding his face. Old Man Boiendl 1454 Share Posted September 2, 2012 Steps outside of his workshop and looks around, he see's a poster and goes to read it "Hmm.... Another so called hero rising up against an Empire. Has anyone thought to ask if this be true, and why does he not confront Knight Commander Uthor about this. Uthor be one of the most honorable men I know, and surely he will take action against the corrupt in his order. All these rebel groups do the same, enlist thieves and bandits, thugs and those who have had trouble with a guard. They fabricate intricate lies and deceive many. I remember a time when Renatus was first founded a rebel group decided to supposdly "take action." They said they would do what is right for the people of Renatus, but in reality they were comprised of bandits and tyrants disguised as so called heroes. This is most likely the same. Do not be deceived by their tales of misery and woe. For surely many who join them will have alternate objectives and surely this will only end in more war and bloodshed, something no one wants. I believe who ever this so called leader is should stop being a complete idiot and contact Uthor Silverblade or I Boiendl Silverblade, for we shall surely solve the problems that lie within. Boiendl grumbles as he finishes speaking and hobbles back inside his workshop to write papers and design new ships
Agnub 605 Share Posted September 2, 2012 King James was traveling through Arethor in his servant-held sedan chair when he noticed a strange poster. He ordered the servants to stop so he could peek his head out of the window of the imported and expensive hardwood door. After reading the poster he couldn't help but clap childishly and chuckle. "The peasants have taught themselves how to write, how wonderful! Now they won't have an excuse for not knowing how much in taxes they owe... Servant! Carry on." The sedan chair then continued on its otherwise uneventful journey to the Hightower Estate. [[i like that people are trying to create RP but rebellions against Oren are the most boring and unoriginal thing to do. Seriously, we get these "peasant" uprisings almost every other week now. And for those that are reading these posters and getting all hyped up - I hope you have valid reasoning behind your ability to read. I doubt most were actually taught or had the upbringing that would warrant learning how to read.]]
