A wizard sleeps in Oren

Elindor

Recommended Posts

Elindor examines Artorus' construction. He nods slowly, pleased with his resting place. He turns to face the others who are with him, scanning their faces and reading some of their thoughts.

"Come now, I am just going to sleep. Why such a fuss over an old man?"

He sits down on the edge of the bed with a long and relieved sigh.

((EDIT: You are welcome to contribute to the RP if you think you would actually be there in Ildon to say goodbye))

*Salamandra stares at the old man, temporarily glancing behind him at the construction before returning his gaze to Elindor. Not having a clue as to what is going on, he remains silent and simply stands there, his staff remaining slung over his shoulder*

In his usual travels throughout the Empire, Kernith is at Ildon when he discovers the group of people. Curious, he listens carefully. An old man... an old man... a sleep? He hears the name 'Elindor' drift from a voice, a name that sounds... oddly familiar. It takes a few more moments before he remembers reading it in Josef's memoirs. This Elindor and his father had... traveled together, in Aegis, looking for some long lost artifact of Artorus Elendil's? As odd as it sounded, Kernith imagined this was the true case. Interested, he decided to remain in the area and see what happened.

Adeon leans against the wall, his gaze cast downwards in both thought and sadness, after reflecting on his and Elindor's travels, he sighs and looks to his friend and smiles. "I... Hope you sleep well, everything else has been said." , he departs Winterhall and heads back to Rose Keep.

Areon stands still as Adeon takes his leave. Looking towards the mystical man with a stoic expression. He shakes his head gently, looking down with his eyes closed in thought, as he thinks back on his suspicions. Now having nothing to fret, seeing him on his deathbed. All that is left is a pang of guilt, and a crawling sensation of regret trickling to the back of his mind. He nods to Elindor one last time, one of respect, not wishing to disturb the serenity of the moment with his own voice.

((thanks all. Wedding was awesome, and honeymoon has been great too. I'll be on on rare occasion. Send me a PM if you want me to wake up for something and I'll see what I can do))

Elindor nods drearily, looking at the floor. He motions for everyone to leave the room, and as the door closes the last that can be seen of the mysterious wizard is little more than a depressed and thoughtful old man.
