Ned Lud 1260 Share Posted September 16, 2012 As the sun sets upon the Strigzgoi, a large, mounted figure can be seen looming on the desert's northern horizon. Those downwind of the rider are swept up in a warm breeze that carries with it the strong scent of excrement, piss and blood. Mingled among the foul gusts of wind, grunts, snorts and the clatter of skulls can be heard, rattling in clusters upon the riders hip. The rider's massive form is cloaked in worn leathers and furs. His exposed flesh glistens dark green under the last of the sunlight and his body is violently scarred and tattooed from a long and arduous life. The nomad's grotesque head and visage is bare and reminiscent of a chewed-up meatball covered in flies and battered and broken tusks curl from his mouth towards the sky. A blackened and bloodied battle axe is slung at his side among various trinkets and war trophies and a gnarled old staff is strapped to his back. He sits atop a brutal and disgusting looking war boar, holding the reigns firmly in a strong right hand as the beast plods through the hot sand. His left hand and forearm appear to be long gone, no doubt lost in some old, forgotten battle. The grizzled old nomad rides up to the gates of the Strigzgoi, rolling off to his feet in the sand with a muffled thud. Much has changed since he last departed, but the stench and the heat of these lands is very much the same. He wets his mangled lips with a black, wart-covered tongue and thumps his chest, uttering a single word into the empty air, "Votar." ((I'm back, but for some time I'll likely be extremely busy and my activity here will be very limited, almost of a retired nature. I'm working two jobs at roughly 65 hours a week and have a wife and two kids, so go figure. I would like to get caught up when I can though and help out with what little I can. Just realize that my real-life dealings will keep my time here very limited and you'll probably rarely see me in-game, much less on Team Speak. Hope all is well. I'll see you when I see you.))
