Rp Username (be sure to include the correct prefix, look up on info thread):

Shavvir however to most he will be know under false names (VA for this char will be made after a while)

Character Skillset:

Undetermined at the moment

Appearance (age, SUBRACE, gender):

Shavvir is a leparda, he is of average height and male.

He has bright blue eyes that almost look unnatural (got the eyes of his mother).

Because Shavvir didn’t grow up in company of other kha’s he has adapted the clothing styles of the humans (with the necessary adaptions ofcourse). he usually wears a tunic made of black/red cloth with leather padding and armor on top.

Depending on the circumstances he either wears a bandana or a hood that covers his face.

Personality:

Shavvir is not like his father at all personality wise, his father was a smart veteran who had rissen to the position of Aelkos.

Although Shavvir inherited the brains of his father he often lacks the patience. He can be impulsive at times however he is smart as well. He never had a lot friends and growing up alone caused him to have his own idea about what is right and what is wrong. He has always been a loner and won’t easily make friends however if you ever help him or save him he WILL make it up to you because he doesn’t like being in debt with someone.

Please include a short bio of your character's life:

The beginning: (this is part is seen trough Ri’shavvir (the dad’s) eyes)

As usual it was hot on the market, shavvir was browsing the wares of the local merchants and the sun was shining brutally on his back. He picked up his cane and walked towards the palace. When he was walking down the road towards the palace a courier came up to him. Ri’shavvir the young kha said as he made the signs of respect, you are needed at the port.

Shavvir frowned and then he remembered today was the day that the high elves would arrive! He walked towards the port as fast as he could, arriving there he took his place among the other Aelkos. He could see that the boat of the high elves was just entering the harbour and a suprisingly big crowd had gathered. Shavvir was worried, only recently the Kha learned of these pointy eared apes and now they where setting foot on their homeland? It didn’t sound right to him but he was a lonely voice among the other Aelkos and so he had to stand here, waiting on the elves in the hot summer sun.

(fast forward to after the meeting)

Shavvir is sitting behind his desk bend over a piece of paper with nothing but a quill and a candle. The light of the candle emits shadows accros the paper, making it look like there are multiple little dansers dancing on a white beach. While on the outside he looked calm and confident on the inside he was worried and furious. After the talk with the point eared apes he had realised that there where so much more of them. At first he was amazed but then he heard about the wars that these ‘races’ had fought and he started to worry. Yes the Kharajyr’s soldiers where strong and good fighters but how could they ever hope to hold off an army that was ten times their size?! He didn’t want to show these insecurity’s to his fellow Aelkos so instead he hid them. Only a few weeks later however the first attack happened, yes the Kha’ had won but still this only proved that our location was known and that the Kha’ where no longer save for the other races that dwelled the world. Shavvir realised that he had to do something to protect his wife and his newborn cub. As the aelkos who was in charge of the craftsmen he ordered a few of his most loyal servants to create a small boat that could be rowed by two kha. He had it made so that there was a small hidden part where two people could hide if needed. He told the craftsmen that it was going to be a wedding gift, however his real plans he kept to himself...

(two weeks later)

shavvir was looking at the ocean that surrounded the island, he smiled as he saw Metztli’s reflection in the water.

What he was doing was considered treason and there would be no way of turning back. Yet his decission was made and not even the beauty of the island could persuade him. He heard the familiar noise of paws on the ground and for a moment he thought that he’d been caugth but when he looked he saw his wife and child, both dressed in black, walking towards him.

He had explained his plan to them a few nights back, they would take the boat and leave for the land of the apes. There they would find a place lost and long forgotten where they could hope to live while the world forgot about them. He smiled thinking of this perfect place that he had created in his mind. He could almost smell the treas and the blossom. His image dissapeared as he was woken frim his day dream by his wife, we have to go now shavvir she said. Shavvir nodded and looked if everything was on the boat, then he looked towards the sea and left the land that he had known for all his life into the unknown.

(that same evening)

The lightning flashed across the sky, blinding the three passengers on the boat. Shavvir closed his eyes and finished his prayer to Metztli. As he opened his eyes once more he looked at the sky, while it was day the sky looked dark. The storm was now at it’s high point, the wind ripping the sail from the boat and the waves crashing onto the boat one after another. Shavvir feared for the worst and had already made peace with the fact that he’d die. But then a ray of sunlight emitted from between two clouds and his hart jumped, what he saw there was land! Shavvir screamed out and pointed at the land, showing the sign of hope to his wife and child. The child however was sleeping and that saved him. When Shavvir huged his wife and let go of the boat a wave hit the boat and threw the couple of the boat, they landed in the water and where quickly pulled away from the boat by the current. The last that shavvir saw of his child was a tail, spotted just like his.

This part is about the boy Shavvir

At the moment Shavvir is 16 years old, his boat landed on the shores of the lands near Alras. After waking up shavvir got a land and mourned for his parents, yet he knew that he would have to focus on more important things if he wanted to survive.

Shavvir walked towards the first village he could find where he stole some clothes and a few ill-fitting pieces of leather armor.

He then went inside the forst where he started creating a lair where he could sleep and stay for a while. After a while his stomach started hurting and he needed to get food, he went outside and made himself a spear out of the birch branch and he went hunting. after a while he managed to kill and skin a few bunny’s he put them over a fire the same way he had seen his father do it. Then he went back into the forest to gather some water from the nearby lake he had found. When he got back to his camp he saw that there was something sitting next to his fire. he looked like a kha but without the fur and tail, shavvir realised that it was one of the ‘apes’. Suddenly the stranget started talking, come near my friend don’t be afraid. Shavvir went closer and sat on the other side of the fire, his spear in his hand. Upon looking at the strangers face his muscles relaxed he saw a smile and he knew that he couldn trust the man. They shared the food and drank the same water and went to bed. the next morning the man was still there and so the days passed. After a while the man suggested to move camp and so they did. In the meantime the man teached the kha some tricks, how to make fire and how to hide stuff from sight. The man in question was a smuggler and thought the little kha’ everything. Werever they went people looked at them and gave them strange looks however in the meantime the other kha had fled their homeland as well and the smuggler suggested to visit them. Shavvir refused, he no longer felt a connection with these people and so he stayed with the man untill he was an adult and left to stand in the world by himself.

In the meantime his addiction with fire had only grown and he also got interested in magic. He had tried several expirements but nothing had really happened. yet he didn’t give up hope and one day he heard about the mages guild and he left to find them, in the hope of a good future.

Character's ambitions:

To become a part of the mages guild and leave his mark on history

_---Situational Rp Questions---_

1.

As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?:

2.

As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak.

"Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!"

He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?:

At first shavvir ignores him, he continues with drinking. When he realises that the dwarf is not going to stop he stands and orders a bowl of cream. When he gets it he walks to the dwarf, sits in front of him and points at the cream. Eat it! he says in a slow treathening voice. He takes out a knife and starts sharpening his nails. He smiles as he sees that the dwarf starts sweating. Shavvir stands up and says to the bartender, sir this man shall pay for my drinks. He then walks of and dissapears

3.

One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response?

He looks at the kha and smiles, so was the cake any good?

Shavvir doesn’t seem shocked at all, he has know the kha for a while and he knew how impulsive he could be.

When you are around him things like this always happen.

Do you need a place to hide? shavvir asks the other kha, I know a place not far from here stay there for a while.

In the meantime I’ll try and find a solution.

Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred?

No, this char has nothing to do with the empire

Please include a screenshot or 3D render of your character's skin

NOTE:

-not all questions where answered cause they do not apply to this char

-I have been working/playing for the kha a long time so I know my way around most lore, this char may not be the most logical but as far as I know it would make sense in rp

-I am a realiable roleplayer and will give references if needed

. . .Reviewing. . .

This is proving tricky to judge... I'll need to speak to Geo before I make my final verdict.

Now as mentioned above... I found this application very hard to view.... The one major thing that screams 'deny' in my head would be the breaking of these rules:

Rule 7~

-You may not make a Kharajyr that is born outside the empire without special permission.

Rule 8~

-Kha' lore clearly states their hostility towards other races. Do not make an application that involves your Kha' liking, loving and socialising with non Kharajyr. This is something that must take place in game with correct lore behind it.

But... You were my Aelkos in the past and I do know you can RP a Kha' well. On top of the fact that this application is very impressive, to say the least. It's clear you have some interesting plans for this character... So I'm sure you can see why I'm finding this so hard. There's also the matter of fairness to take into account too, if I accept an application that breaks said application rules, others may believe they can do the same.

After looking everything over several times, I believe I have finally come to a decison. You must remember that just because the Kha' doesn't have the traditional Kha' upbringing, that doesn't just make them a furry human. Kha' will always have certain 'wild' desires. Imagine a pet cat, for example: Just because it is raised as a pet by humans, that doesn't suddenly turn it into a small furry human. Yes some things may be influenced by apes, like accent and a small degree of your personality, but I cannot stress enough how important it is to remain as Kha' as possible.

This is the reason we don't usually accept Kharajyr born outside of the empire, because they basically take a massive dump on Kha' lore and rewrite the lore to suit their desires to be a 'pet'.

By playing this character, you will be agreeing to these terms: You will RP as a Kha, and always as a Kha'. You will not wear ape clothes, you will not enjoy ladies tea parties or anything like that, you will always have the basic Kha' desires and you will blow people away with your RP. Breaking these terms, will result in an instant revoke, and I will also contact members of the VAT to state that the character is void, therefore the villain app is also void, if you should ever choose to get one.

But apart from all that....

ACCEPTED!

To be fair I have a small problem: the clothing

While I would never think of wearing vests and the like the problem stands that I have my char will become (hopefully) either a smuggler or a mage. Both professions would make it necesairy to adapt myself. Could I get a 'list' or guidelines as to what clothing would be acceptable and what clothing wouldn't be?

Kha' are completed covered in fur from head to toe, so very little clothing is needed at all. Wearing a full set of ape clothes would drive a Kha' crazy. It'd be far too warm and would get in the way of their natural 'wild' desires. Hence why cats don't wear clothes.

You've played a Kha' before, you've seen what Kha' wear - At least a loincloth, and maybe a few scraps of clothing here and there. How you come about finding/making these clothes, is ICly up to you. But just remember: A Kha' simply wouldn't wear what your average ape wears.
