Even Hiebe is against having magic... I don't understand...

I believe there are 2 reasons for this:

1) Many Dwarves feel the ascended betrayed them. If I'm not mistaken it's one of the reasons (if not the reason) Hiebe left the ascended in the first place.

2) Dwarves also are innately distrustful of magic and magic users in other fantasy settings. For instance in Dungeons and Dragons, Dwarven Sorcerers and Wizards are virtually unheard of. Those that show an aptitude in the arcane arts are shunned and ostracized, and any Dwarf that shows an interest in magic is seen as mentally ill or unstable.

3. the undead evil magic users, i believe dwarves also created a supsicion against that :/ and back in aegis everyone went crazy when someone hold the golden hoe.

also i just voted and i think after looking at the new dwarven biome we should have the main city build under and around the biggest mountains. there should be a big wall around the mountain for guards and mountains dwarves to do their thing, but it must be kept small, otherwise it will become like outer kal'urguan.

We will be living inside a large mountain range which boasts a large cavern in it, where there will be towers along the outside of the mountain's stone features.. Essentially there will be no exterior access once a Dwarf enters the city and he or she must get a permit to do so.
